“Even if it wasn’t a vacation, I’d be a tad bit disappointed if you didn’t.”
“Wouldn’t want you disappointed in me,” Harry countered with raised eyebrows. “Kidding, kidding.”

“Even if it wasn’t a vacation, I’d be a tad bit disappointed if you didn’t.”
“Wouldn’t want you disappointed in me,” Harry countered with raised eyebrows. “Kidding, kidding.”
“Oh, please! Like you’ll gain weight. Honestly, I should be worrying about that, though. If I gain any weight at all, my agent is going to kill me.” She sighed slightly at the thought. “Yeah, I know.” For a second, a look of concern etched across her face as she looked down at the beer in his hand, but she instantly replaced it with a smile. “–But being sober is so boring anyways. My friend gave me some horrible combination that he made earlier, but that’s just about all.–I could always use another one, though. You know, to wipe the taste out of my mouth.”
“Oh shush up. We both know you’re perfect. Don’t you dare worry about your weight or I’ll throw you over the damn ship.” Harry kept his eyes forward, knowing that Audrie’s expression had changed but not wanting to ask what she was thinking. “Great. We’ll go get you another. I could use something stronger than beer anyway.”
I want to go on the water slide, like a million and a half times, do you want to go on it with me?
“I was just thinking about going. I wouldn’t mind heading there with you. After I finish this beer though.”
“No, please by all means take it in and enjoy the view. I don’t mind the staring. ”
“Of course you don’t,” Harry snickered, taking a long drink of his beer. “I’m Harrison by the way. You can call me Harry if you like.”
“I am so happy, the sun! Wanna get a drink?”
“That’s the way I was headed. I say shots?”
“That isn’t juvenile, it sounds fun.”
“Want to join?”
“Thanks.” She said, with a tint of blush in her cheeks, “I feel as if I should probably order a drink too.”
“You definitely should. Enjoy your vacation and some good old fashioned adult time.”
Handing over the cup she laughed, “You;d be surprised how many people don’t party on Spring break.”
“I guess it’s a good thing I’m not one of those sorry assholes. It’s vacation and we’re on a boat in the middle of the ocean. I’m going to drink.”
“Maybe that was the point.” He shrugged. “Either way, it sounds like as good a plan as any.”
“Alright then. I’ll finish this beer and go down the water slide a dozen times. Who cares, it’s vacation, right?”
“T’way I see it, you get grown enough, and you’re grown enough to act childish. That’s why you’ll catch me watching Arthur on PBS with no shame whatsoever. I’m grown. I know my concepts. I’m glad there’s someone else that sees what I mean.”
“Arthur? Damn, I haven’t seen that in forever. But no shame, man. You do you.”
“I tan year round, that’s why!” she laughed. “Are you gonna lay out with me Harry?”
“And blind people with my white ass? Absolutely.”
“You’re on a cruise. Who cares who juvenile it is? Just do it.”
“Sounds like a Nike commercial.”
“Yeah, no problem. I think I’m enjoying myself a little too much and all I’ve been doing is tanning and going down the water slide. Oh, and I figured out there was a chocolate fountain at the buffet. Are you enjoying yourself?”
“A chocolate fountain? Are you trying to make me gain weight here?” Harry chuckled, taking another swig of his beer. “Sure. Can’t say anything bad about it so far. Though I don’t let myself enjoy much sober these days, you know that. What about you? Have yourself a drink yet?”
“You know, that sounds like fun. Can I join you?”
“Absolutely you can, pretty girl.”
“Do you care to join?” Sierra asked holding out a glass.
“Like you have to ask,” Harry laughed, grabbing the cup from the girl’s hands.Â
“What’s so juvenile about that? I’ve been on it like three times already…Okay, I’m not really proving my point, but it’s really fun. I’ll totally go with you, because you know, it was fun.”
“Thanks for volunteering yourself, babe. Let me finish this beer and we’ll be off. Are you enjoying yourself so far?”
“Which ever seems to capture your eyes the most I suppose.”
“I hate to be added to the list of men who blatantly stare at you, so I’ll pretend I’m not and keep it as least sleazy as possible.”
