hot take: Jack hughes actually was the biggest bust in nhl history. Forget him making a comeback after his rookie year. He was picked higher than his brothers in their drafts and he’s actually the least talented out of all of them.

He’s genuinely only popular because people think he’s hot (and he’s not I literally don’t get it). He’s some random ass dude who only got into the league because his older brother did.

And that 8 year contract??? That has to be for the sake of devils PR. He’s not good enough to make 8mil a year for 8 years. It’s got to be for all the money that the devils are making off of him. Personally I wouldn’t pay him $8 to shoot a puck in my yard much less carry my team.

With him on the roster I promise the devils won’t have a Stanley cup win.
