Draco: Weasley! I heard your family all sleep in one room â is that true?
Ron: Nope. The only person I sleep with is Harry.
Draco: WHAT?
Harry: He means in one room.
Draco: Oh. Yeah. Of course. I knew that.
Harry: I mean, sometimes we sleep naked and in the same bed and-
Draco: WHAT???
Ron: He's kidding.
Draco:
Draco: Of course he is.
Ron: But sometimes, in the shower-
Draco: ARGH! THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR MY BLOOD PRESSURE!

Harry and Draco bickering during 8th year and Harry pushes Draco against the wall, says âwanna say that again, pretty boy?â and theyâre both glaring at each other until they hear Ron say
âDid you just call Malfoy pretty?â
breakfast at the slytherin table going smoothly enough until someone casually says to their mate, âdid you know potterâs into dudes?â
draco malfoy chokes on his toast, climbs onto the table, crawls across it, grabs the poor slytherin by the collar and says âdetails right now, motherfuckerâ
Draco, walking into the room: Sorry Iâm late, I was⌠doing stuff Harry, entering the room noticeably dishevelled: HE PUSHED ME DOWN THE FUCKING STAIRS
Malfoys donât get sick đ¤
âI am not sick. Malfoys do not get sick!â
Harry gave Draco a skeptical look as the blond blew his nose for the seventh time since he had entered the room five minutes ago.
âRight,â Harry said, clicking his tongue.
âI am not sick,â Draco growled. He turned his back to Harry and made his way to the sofa, plopping down on it.
âDraco, there is no shame in being sick.â
âI am not- not- Achoo!â
Harry handed Draco another tissue before sitting down next to him. He lifted his hand and gently put it on Dracoâs forehead.
âOh, youâre burning up.â
âIâm not,â Draco said, pushing Harryâs hand away. âBesides, I feel cold.â
Harry pinched the bridge of his nose.
âYouâre obviously running a fever. Maybe I should call Hermione. Iâm sure she could cure you of-â
âI donât need her. I donât need anything,â Draco interrupted him. âI am perfectly fi- fi- Achoo!â
Harry let out a sigh and shook his head.
âAt least lie down and rest for a bit?â
Draco gave him a dark look that didnât last for long.
âWell⌠I am a little tired.â
âAlright then,â Harry said, making room for Draco to lie down. He summoned two blankets from their bedroom and tucked his boyfriend in.
âThere,â Harry said soothingly. âSleep it off, okay?â He stroked Dracoâs hair who nodded weakly before his eyelids fluttered shut.
After making sure Draco was fast asleep, Harry went into the kitchen to prepare something for Draco to eat when he woke up. He knew just what to do.
Two hours later, when Harry went back to the living room, a vase and several books were floating in mid-air, right above Dracoâs head. Harry quickly set the tray of steaming porridge he was holding down on the table and got out his wand. He sent the vase and the books back to the shelf and kneeled down beside Draco.
âI think youâre magic is going a bit bonkers,â he murmured. Draco cracked open an eye and smiled dazedly at Harry.
âHey,â he croaked.
âHey.â Harry stroked his hair again and seated himself on the edge of the couch. âAre you hungry?â
âUgh!â Draco weakly shook his head and scrunched up his nose.
âCome on, itâs Mollyâs secret porridge recipe. Here.â Harry summoned the tray and placed it on his lap. âIâll feed you.â
âIâm not letting you feed me porridge,â Draco said, his face twisting in disgust.
âIs it the porridge youâre opposed to or me feeding it to you?â
Draco didnât answer but clutched the corners of the blankets tighter around him.
âCome on, you have to eat something. And youâre shivering so much, I think you will drop the spoon as soon as I hand it to you. Let me feed you.â Harry held out the spoon in front of Dracoâs mouth with no sign of cooperation from his boyfriend. âDraco, come on. Just let me feed you. You know, it would be kind of cute, too.â
âCute,â Draco repeated, a disgusted look on his face.
âYeah. Now that I think about it, itâs nice to have someone I can take care of.â
Draco seemed to ponder this for a moment before hesitantly opening his mouth and accepting the spoonful of porridge.
âWhat else would that entail? You taking care of⌠me?â
Harryâs face split into a grin as he offered Draco more porridge.
âWell, I guess that would depend.â
âDepend on what?â Draco asked, slowly taking another bite.
âOn the circumstances. For example, if you were sick, Iâd definitely want to keep cooking for you. And after you finished eating we could go upstairs and I could hold you and warm you until you stopped shivering. We could take a hot bath together. Iâd make you some tea, get your favourite biscuits and I could give you a massage if you feel like it. But since youâre not sickâŚâ Harry peered at his boyfriend from under his lashes and held back a snicker.
âWell,â Draco began quietly. âMaybe⌠Maybe I am a little sick.â
âSure, just a little,â Harry laughed, putting the porridge aside and gently pulled Draco into his arms.
draco malfoy but every time he says potter it gets faster
i thought of this in a very wrong way
Alone
âHello, Potter.â Malfoy didnât look up from his book as Harry came to a halt in front of him.
âI want to talk to you,â Harry said resolutely.
âGoodbye, Potter,â Malfoy said, his eyes still on his book. It didnât stop Harry from sitting down next to him on the sofa.
âIâve been watching you these past days,â Harry said, lowering his voice. Draco snorted.
âOf course you have.â
âAnd I noticed something,â Harry continued, ignoring Malfoyâs comment. âYouâre always alone.â Harry watched as a hint of annoyance flickered over the Slytherinâs face.
âIs that so?â If Malfoy felt caught, he didnât let it show. He was the picture of calmness and indifference.
âWhy arenât you with your Slytherin friends anymore? Are you avoiding them? Are they avoiding you? Are they giving you a hard time?â Harry couldnât imagine why they would do something like that or why Draco would be the one avoiding them but he knew something was going on.
âYou sure ask many questions, Potter,â Malfoy muttered, turning a page of his book.
âAnd you didnât answer any of them, Malfoy.â Harry leaned closer to him but didnât try to take the book out of his hands. He really wasnât in the mood to fight. âWhy are you always alone? The common room is full of people and yet you decided to sit here, far away from everyone.â
âAnd I was perfectly content until you showed up.â Malfoy didnât exactly sound menacing but Harry knew he would probably snap soon.
âI donât believe you.â Harry was aware that he was already invading Malfoyâs private space but he still leaned in a little closer. âLook, some of the other eighth years have started a group. They meet a few times a week and they⌠talk. About what happened to them in the war and how they are⌠coping with it.â
Harry jumped when Malfoy slammed his book shut in front of Harryâs nose and turned to him.
âPotter,â he barked. âI donât know how to get it into your thick head that I donât want to talk. About anything. I donât even know what youâre doing here. You have plenty people to talk to, so why do you insist on pestering me?â His eyes wandered about the room as if he were looking for something. âWhere is the rest of your little trio anyway?â
âTheyâre⌠busy,â Harry said vaguely. Malfoy snorted and Harry suspected he knew exactly what Harry had implied.
âThen go talk to somebody else, Potter.â
âI donât want to.â
Malfoy let out a sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose.
âYou really donât get it, do you? Iâd like to be alone.â
Harry crossed his arms over his chest, raising an eyebrow.
âI donât believe you.â He watched as Malfoy let his head fall back and closed his eyes.
âSo youâve told me,â Malfoy muttered.
âI think you secretly like that Iâm sitting here with you.â His eyes scanned Malfoyâs face, waiting for something that would tell him he was right. âAnd I think youâd also like it if I did this.â He reached out and grabbed Malfoyâs hand. He leaned forward while simultaneously tugging Malfoy toward him.
He closed his eyes as his lips brushed Malfoyâs temple. He had thought about doing this for so long, it almost felt unreal.
âAnd maybe youâd even like it if I did this,â Harry whispered against Malfoyâs skin as he slid down on the sofa, swung his legs on Malfoyâs lap and laid his head on the Slytherinâs shoulder.
When Malfoy gave no reaction whatsoever, Harry moved his head to look at him. He had finally done it. Draco Malfoy was rendered speechless. Or was he shocked? Disgusted? Harry couldnât tell.
âOkay, maybe you donât like it,â Harry said, getting more and more uncomfortable by Malfoyâs blank stare. He tried to get up, rather inelegantly, when Malfoy suddenly placed a hand on his chest.
âWait.â
Harry looked at him, having no clue what to make of the tortured expression on his face.
âI like to be alone,â he muttered. Harryâs heart sank.
âOh.â
âButâŚâ Malfoy gulped. âI guessâŚI would rather be alone with you.â

In [Harry Potterâs] Heartbeat
âHi, Harry!â Hermione said brightly as she slid into the seat across from Harry at his table in the library.
âHey, âMione,â Harry responded absently, not breaking his gaze away from where Draco Malfoy sat, a few tables over. His Transfiguration essay lay forgotten on the table in front of him. Hermione rolled her eyes when she noticed that Harry had only written down two sentences.
âListen, Harry, I was wondering if you could help me with some of my homework,â Hermione put forth.
Harry didnât bother to reply this time. He probably wasnât even listening, as he was far too distracted watching Draco saunter out of the library.
âHarry?â
Harry abruptly turned his head to face Hermione.
âOh, did you say something? Sorry, I wasâŚâ Harry paused and blushed an intense shade of puce. âDaydreaming,â he finished quickly and coughed. âWhat were you saying?â
Hermione shook her head in amusement at Harryâs obvious crush on Draco.
âI asked if youâd like to help me with an assignment for my Ancient Studies class,â Hermione said and Harry gasped.
âHermione Granger is asking Harry Potter for help with an assignment? I never thought this day would come. Well, go on. What is it you need my brilliant mind for?â
Hermione chuckled and answered, âLately weâve been studying ways to invent new spells with theories and techniques from Ancient Magic. This assignment was to create a spell that would make an emotion sentient. For example, you could cast a spell to make someoneâs anger  sentient and a fireball or something would show up and lead the person to things that made them angry. Anyways, I need you to be a test subject for my spell.â
Harry frowned. âSo you donât need my brilliant mind after all.â Then he asked, âWhy isnât Ron your test subject?â
âOh, Ronâs too busy.â
Harry raised his eyebrows. âDoing what? Last I saw him, he was playing Wizardâs Poker with Dean and Seamus.â
âHeâs busy now. Helping Ginny with Quidditch strategies for the match next week.â
âFunny. I wouldnât think Ginny would need any help-â
Hermione cut him off by clearing her throat loudly. âThe point is, Iâm in need of a test subject and youâre available. Are you willing to help me?â
âSure, I guess. Which emotion did you decide to do?â Harry said.
âLove.â
Harry suddenly looked very nervous. âWhat kind of love?â
Hermione shrugged. âI was aiming for romantic love, but the spellâs a work in progress. Could turn out to be any kind of love.â
âSo the spell will lead me to who I love.â

Draco: Scared, Potter?
Harry: Yeah, Malfoy. Shivering. Shaking like a leaf. Stomach clenching, knees weak, palms sweaty.
Draco: That sounds like youâre aroused.
Harry:
Draco:
Harry: Well fuck.
I, maybe, live for exchanges like this.Â
âThatâs kind of the idea, Potter,â Draco says, his voice low and soft.Â
Harry blinks, looking for all the world like heâs going to run⌠as far and as fast as he can.Â
âNot right this minute.â Draco brushes the backs of his fingers against Harryâs cheek, not entirely sure heâs not about to be hexed. âItâs a goal.â
âA goal?â
âYeah. Maybe even a long-term goal.âÂ
âDo you have a short-term goal?â Harry asks, his voice breathy. Like a leaf in a gentle breeze.
âI do, actually.â Dracoâs hand turns to cup Harryâs cheek. Gently, so gently.Â
He leans forward. Slowly. And watches Harryâs eyes go wide.
Their lips brush, softly, maybe tentatively, but Draco is fairly certain that Harry has met him halfway.
âDid you, maybe, have kind of a mid-range goal youâd like to tell me about?â Harry asks. Â
Draco, about Hogwarts: Those were crazy times. But I never really drank much. I was more focused on my school work and the war.
Harry: Draco, Iâve seen you chase a tequila shot with a dorito.
