Video Game #DRAWTOBER DAY 8. There wasn't too much liberty taken with this one so its really more of a color study of one of my favorite pixel characters: Samus (from Metroid Fusion). These are pretty much the exact colors from the game. 

Gotta love how you can compare little red Mario with his blue jeans hoppin around to this abstract blob of garish colors that hunts space pirates and dark space lab creatures. So much imagination comes through with so little information given. Brilliant designers.

Day 7 of videogame #Drawtober/#inktober.

Gotta love Monster Hunter for having giant spider beasts you can make into armor/weapons and then in the same mission go casually flower picking while taking in the landscape. So brilliant. So strange. So epic. So cute.

Video Game #Drawtober day 6 continues with some SNES Sim City action. I couldn’t decide what to draw from this wonderful too-good-for-this-world game so I decided to draw the three things any Mayor worth his salt always needs: Lots of park tiles, no roads and only trains, and CLEAN NUCLEAR POWER. \m/ This game taught me more about the world than any civics or gov’t class at school did. Taxes, building codes, economy, police and fire department needs. the effects of industrial proximity to residential zones causing inflations or deflations in housing costs, the need for a balanced commerce. G.O.A.T. game.

Kirby teamed up with Rick the Hamster in the 2nd Kirby game as if he wasn’t sure if he was already cute enough on his own. Happy Video Game #Drawtober day 5!

Day 4 of #Drawtober videogame style. I used to play the EXCELLENT Advance Wars games constantly but Nintendo and developer Intelligent Systems has since seemed to forget the series exists. The best part of this series was that it had multiplayer where you passed the gameboy around and took turns moving your troops. Perfect for long car rides or long waits somewhere on the go. Oh wait the other best thing was they let you make your own stages. Oh wait the OTHER best thing was that every design in the game was ADORABLE. Ah too many things to name. Great series.
