I just LOVE Harry and Ginny’s kiss in the book. I felt so connected to Harry’s feelings and the way J.K described it. I wish the book would have included more of their relationship.

I’ve always strongly disliked Ginny Weasley (not for any deep or well-founded reason or anything) but strangely enough I never had a problem with Hinny happening. They suit each other well, and in Cursed Child it seems that they still love and support each other after all these years. So I actually quite like that pairing, even tough Ginny will probably always stay my least favorite main character in the series.

If people actually read the books, they’d realize Hinny was clearly endgame from the start. Harry was never properly introduced to Ginny, he picked up her name by listening to other Weasleys talk with her, no one had ever mentioned her for the rest of rest of Harry’s first year in Hogwarts. But then, when Harry saw her again as they arrived at the platform for summer break, he immediately recognized it was Ginny Weasley, Ron’s little sister. If that doesn’t count as noticing, I don’t know what does.

If you hate Ginny/Hinny you need to stop marathoning the movies and go pick up the books again. You’re missing out on some quality banter, friendly rivalry, and a healthy relationship built on mutual understanding and respect.

I know it’s an unpopular ship especially on tumblr, but I love Hinny. I think they’re perfect for each other.

A reason Harry was right to end up with Ginny and not Cho is that Cho was all jealous of Harry’s friendship with Hermione, while Ginny didn’t get jealous but understood Harry and their friendship.

Ginny is the perfect girl for Harry. There’s a reason canon ships are canon.

Hinny and Jily are my all time OTPs and it upsets me to see so many hate on them. You canon ship your non canon ships without denying that they make great couples.

I personally think that Harry and Ginny are perfect for each other. In the books their development as a couple is very evident and beautiful. It’s just annoying that people ship Harry and Hermione because their relation in books was evidently like best friends or brother and sister.
