Today I, one of the oldest at my school, had a conversation with a guy from my little sisters class (She's in sixth grade)

He was making fun of me for liking Miraculous. Like EXCUSE ME. It's an animated show. Has iconic characters. It's funny. it has deep lore. And brilliant fanfiction.

Anyways, he found out I liked the marauders. then he made fun of me for that🤦

Okay, so I'm making an in depth presentation about The Slytherin Skittles, where I deep dive into canon, fanon and how I see them.

I'm making a timeline of each of their lives, I've already done Reg and Barty which means I know need to make Evans.

Me: I don't have snapchat *Trying to turn him down nicely, in case he's like homophobic*

Guy: That's fine, I'll take anything.

Me: I don't- Guy: No pressure *While interupting me*

Me: I'm not into guys.

Guy: What you're into girls? *Rubbing the back of his neck.*

Me: I'm a lesbian. *His friends laugh (They're behind him)*

Guy: Have you ever tried being with a guy?

Me: Not really.

Guy: Then how would you know you're a queer?

Me: Don't you think you're a bit too old too use Queer as a slur?

Guy: Whatver. You didn't look that good either, I just liked that you weren't too feminine. Like you look like a guy. No shit you're one of those gays.

Me: Sure bud, have a nice day.

No but does he have some internalized feeling he wants to sort out. Like he liked I look like a guy. Are we sure I'm one only one of those gays?

Me: *Peacefully shopping in the mans aisle for shirts*

Random ass dude (RAD): What are you doing here? *Pretty friendly*

Me: Just looking for clothes.

RAD: But like... You're a girl, right?

Me: Not right now, I'm not.

RAD: What do you mean- Oh you're like fluid! Not fluid, I meant like- Genderfluid?

Me: *Surprised becaus eI lowk judged him* Yeah, I am.

RAD: My partner is too.

Me: Oh that's nice, say hi to- What's their preffered pronoun?

RAD: Any.

Uncle: How's it going with the guys, *name* Me: *akwardly looks to my two cousins who both know I'm a lesbian* Cousin 1: Oh my god, dad, can you not? Me: It's fine. Uncle: Well then, do you have a boyfriend?

Me: I'm actually not into guys.

Uncle: Oh. *Akward pause* Is that why you were reading that gay book?

-A week earlier-

Me: *At my grandparents house, for a family gathering, reading sun and the stars.

Uncle: what are you reading?

Me: The sun and the star, it's about like greek gods and it's in the pjo universe.

Uncle: Is that two boys holding hands?

Me: Yeah, Will and Nico. They're dating.

Uncle: *Pause. Long pause. The gears are turning.* They can't get pregnant.

Me: *Just stares at him.* They're sixteen.

Uncle: Oh- -Back to the now- Me: Yeah something like that.

Uncle: Do you have a girlfriend then?

Me: No.

My other cousin (a guy): Imagine *All in good fun btw*

I love my family. They're trying.
