Spicy Bangkok Bowl Chicken Similar to Bai ka Pai, with spices, herbs over garlic and chillies, fried sticky rice (Sushi rice), served with boiled egg, chopped red chillies and a lemon wedge. Big enough to serve 2-3 people and delicious enough that only one will eat it. 😀 2. Hawkers Noodles (Pad Thai) Pad Thai means Thai flat rice noodles, it is resilient and sticky. We personally recommend these noodles anytime. Loads of flavour including sweet, tangy, sour and spicy at the same time. Contains lots of chickens and scrambled eggs topped over with roasted peanuts. For all the Gym freaks there you go. :) For Indians, it's easy to perceive it as Indian minced chicken topped over rice but with Chinese roots when prepared. 3. Non-Veg Dimsum Platter We were served 2pc each. 1. Rainbow chicken - sweeter version of old school with a different shape. 2. Prawn and celery dimsums - if you like sweet, corn-like flavour with prawns then a must to try. 3. Chicken Gyoza - typical round dimsums with sweet schezwan chutney 4. Pak choi Dimsums - the best they have, minced chicken spaced and cooked like a ball, covered with spinach leaves. 5. Old school chicken - Want to enjoy Dehradun's street momos, with an ambient surrounding and restaurant feels then go ahead! 😂 4. Spicy Salmon Roll (Sushi) Like a typical sushi nothing fancy or extraordinary, tastes good but the raw salmon could have been better. 5. Ebi Tempura Crispy Prawn Rolls This was by far the best sushi we've had, prawns were cooked nicely with tenderness and juiciness. The crispy outer skin made it even more asmr to chew. 6. Blueberry Cooler. Blueberry, tangy, sweet and cold enough for your brain freezes. So next time you don't like your company order these for your friends. 😂 7. Chennai Chiller It was supposed to be a PINA COLADA of China but it turned out to be milk and bananas :( Not at all suggesting this one. 8. Berry smoothie Straw, blue, ras berries mixed with ice and some milk.Tastes like Benedryl in between because of artificial flavourings. CHOCOLATE PANCAKE WITH ICE CREAM Are you also thinking to dig into this Pan-like us! 😋😇 Can't stress enough the quality of Chocolate and Cocoa they put, its so pure that you can't even see the Pancake properly inside the black pan. One of the best Pancakes you'll get in doon, especially after the low-quality thats being served at Char Dukaan Now. 😣 Pancakes have become or are on the verge of becoming a staple breakfast in Dehradun. This is an Extra chocolate pancake with vanilla ice cream topped with gems, white choco chips and chocolate syrup. We couldn't even notice how quickly we ate it all, it's so delicious, soft from the centre and crispy from the outer edges while being super fluffy at once. KULFI/QULFI RABDI FALOODA We tried the Kulfi Rabri Falooda at the prominent names in Uttarakhand when it comes to sweets - Kumar Sweet Shop. It is super delicious, Kulfi topped with 2 kinds of Falooda, Rabri and loads of Pistachios and a few drops of Kewra. The combo of kulfi with falooda is to takes your taste buds to a whole new level. People enjoy falooda (sweet vermicelli noodles) with Rabri and Kulfi during the summer months (March-August) to cool down from the heat, or just to have something sweet and cold. The difference between kulfi falooda and rabri falooda is that rabri falooda is a dessert drink made with or without ice cream. Kulfi falooda is a frozen dessert, topped with falooda sev along with rose syrup and dry fruits. Kulfi is similar to ice cream in appearance and taste but denser and creamier. It comes in various flavours. The more traditional ones are cream (malai), rose, mango, cardamom (elaichi), saffron (Kesar or zafran), and pistachio. There are newer variations such as apple, orange, strawberry, peanut, and avocado. Unlike ice cream, kulfi is not whipped, resulting in a solid, dense frozen dessert similar to traditional custard-based ice cream. Fun Fact - Due to its density, kulfi takes a longer time to melt than Western ice-cream. History - Kulfi or Qulfi is a Hindustani word derived from the Persian Qufli meaning "covered cup". The dessert likely originated in the Mughal Empire in the 16th century. The mixture of dense evaporated milk was already popular in the sweet dishes in the Indian subcontinent. During the Mughal period, this mixture was flavoured with pistachios and saffron, packed into metal cones and immersed in slurry ice, resulting in the invention of Kulfi. Ain-i-Akbari, a detailed record of the Mughal emperor Akbar's administration, mentions the use of saltpetre for refrigeration as well as transportation of Himalayan ice to a warmer area. You can make it for your weekend brunch or as a side dish if you are preparing a North Indian Non-Veg Meal for your house parties or get-togethers. They are specially prepared at the time of Ramzaan/Ramadan. Although the traditional recipe calls for mutton keema you could also use chicken keema if you like. Like here we've used the Chicken Keema, you can also add mint chutney and ring onions to have a perfectly balanced meal. OVEN FRESH Peri-Peri Chicken Pizza! It's definitely one of the best fluffy crust pizzas you can get. We tried this out by a recommendation and believe us it's finger-licking. 😋 From the crispy bbq chicken on top to the peri-peri and pizza sauce in the bottom there's nothing not to love when this baby comes on your table! we also tried the Alfredo White Sauce Pasta and there's no denying its equally delicious as the pizza if not better. You can clearly see the olive oil floating on top and delicate cheese melting. It came with 2 huge bread pieces to balance the taste. Chicken is one of those Universal dishes that you can sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be easily digested. TUNA SUSHI 🍣 Sushi is traditional japanese dish made with medium-grain white rice, usually with some sugar though it can be prepared with brown rice or short-grain rice. It is very often prepared with seafood, often raw such as squid, eel, yellowtail, salmon, tuna or crab meat. Many types of sushi are vegetarian. It is often served with pickled ginger (gari), wasabi (Paste made from japanese horse raddish thats gives pungent and chilli flavour) and soy sauce, daikon radish (sweet) or pickled daikon (takuan) are popular garnishes. When the sushi rice is wrapped in nori (seaweed) and rolled, it is called a Sushi roll. Styles of sushi and its presentation vary widely, but the one key ingredient is "sushi rice", also referred to as shari, or sumeshi remains same for sushi worldwide. Sushi is sometimes confused with sashimi, a related dish in Japanese cuisine that consists of thinly sliced raw fish or occasionally meat The main ingredients of traditional Japanese sushi, raw fish and rice, are naturally low in fat, high in protein, carbohydrates (the rice only), vitamins, and minerals, as are gari and nori. Other vegetables wrapped within the sushi also offer various vitamins and minerals.-- One more reason to eat delicious SUSHI. 😋 We tried this spicy tuna roll, really can’t get enough of the spicy-mayo laden tuna, wrapped in Japanese rice and delicate toasted nori (seaweed) sheets Some people serve tuna in one piece while others chop it up. But there is one thing that we love and remains same in all the rolls we've had the spicy sauce made with sriracha and mayonnaise. What you decide to add to the sauce after is up to you.
