Hello, loves. As many of you have likely noticed, Hartway hasn’t posted in a long time, and I myself have not been early as active as I used to be. Having a job has quite thoroughly kicked my ass and Hartway hasn’t been promoted because of it. I just want to make it clear to everyone that I am not, and will not, abandon Hartway. So long as people want to roleplay here, Hartway will be open. I’ve never minded small roleplays like we’ve become, and I’m assuming those of who have stayed feel the same.

Though the next month or so will likely remain the same in terms of how active I can be, come September I’ll have a lot more time to dedicate to Hartway, and so I ask: how would people like me to promote this roleplay? Would you me to try to bring in a large crowd again (promoting a lot), or would we prefer to keep it smaller (promoting once or twice a day)?

The professor app would be best.

Does a character have to be a student to be a TA?

Nope! They would just have to have already graduated (not necessarily from Hartway).

Event Update:

the fires were put out, leaving the labs and surrounding area destroyed

the studios were saved before they became unsalvageable, as were most of the lecture halls

the fire did not reach the library before it was extinguished, leaving only the hallway and entrance damaged

seventeen students and one professor perished in the explosion and resulting fires, many others injured

the school will be closed until further notice

Tick, tick, tick, boom-- some students will do anything to get out of class, including turning one of the chemistry labs into a bomb. There has been an explosion that has caused a rapidly spreading fire, destroying the labs and heading towards the library, studios, and west lecture halls Remain calm and evacuate... or not.

This event is open for all to participate in. Feel free to include the explosion in your starters, or to write self-paras about what your character was/is doing during this event. Tag all starters and self-paras with hartevent!
