watching re:zero with mom and she joked that it'll end with julius saying "surprise subaru i'm gay!" and confessing to him. how come thinking these two are gay af is a canonical event.

this escalated further and she keeps me asking if julius IS actually gay and if he's going to confess. somehow she was 100% convinced that's where this was going, and i had to break to her that i don't think that's happening but i'd be nice if it did 😭

The event was great but disappointing for me as a collab, but still I got some nice scraps of content (and angst!).

In this alternative timeline, everyone joined together to kill Jester ASAP since he wanted to wake ORT up and when Fake Assassin was left without a master, François introduced her to Sigma and made them form a contract (I don't think he summoned Watcher/was true Lancer here). However, Assassin is not a good Assassin and fight mostly by spamming her NP, which Sigma couldn't afford with his low mana. They tried to fight more undercover/stealth but were eliminated by the Black Lion trying to protect Tsubaki. Their dying wish was asking the Prelati to protect her in their stead, which they obliged. This was Sigma's first wish after all...

It's just a shame I got so little content of these two when they're my favorite FSF characters (and Zealot wasn't even supposed to show up, according to Narita. She was added later after the event was postponed for a year) and I didn't even get a CE for a consolation prize (The two being in the background of Ayaka's CE doesn't count) so no matter how I try, I can't help but feel really let down. Especially because Sigma's chance of being playable is dead dead, while Zealot's probably quite high since she thankfully ended up pretty popular after the anime, and was the one most people were whining about for not being playable. But how long I will have to wait?

Now waiting for that vol 10 is all that's left for me. I hope they have a happier ending than the one in the alternative timeline.
