She closes the envelope with the crest of her family’s heraldic. Navy blue and gold patterns cherish the white fabric of said envelope. She hands the letter towards one of her most trusted escorts, if his life depended on being caught with said piece of information, he would gladly die by sword or hand in order to protect the knight’s true form. “Violent delights have violent ends” she whispers to herself as soon as the burly man leaves his post towards the kingdom under the seas, home of Poseidon and its acolytes, Neptune.

The keeper of the oceans and it’s deadly power, mistress of the sea, bewitching damsel that steals her night’s sleep and makes her daydreaming of her caresses, sweet lips that she had tasted before. How could a pair of lips seal her faith in such a cruel manner?

Haruka reaches the balcony of her room, opening both doors with one hand. She marvels her emerald eyes on the enriching view of her own home. For some, a desolated land for other’s the home of the bravest warriors in all the Silver Millennium. All in service for her majesty, Queen Serenity of The Moon kingdom.

The invitation for the crowning princess presentation had arrived a couple weeks ago, in it’s contents a small list of the attendants and their plus one. The inner princesses and the outer princesses would collide for the first time in centuries. It would be quite the reunion, for they had never met before this moment. Or at least that’s what they knew.

The princess of the wind kingdom didn’t like the title that had been given to her at birth, she rather sported the one she had obtained by battling thousands of fearsome warriors across the solar system. She who had been blesses by Boreas, Eurus, Notus and Zephyrus. Her people addressed her in proper title, The White knight of Skeiron.

…Was enraptured by the Daughter of the seas. The Princess of Neptune.

And their rendezvous? …The Masquerade.

Vultures, that’s what they were. Always prying on either the soldiers from her guard or any other easy target from the court, whoever sported a noble title was an easy prey for these kinds of women who only took part in court affairs due to their nagging need to become blessed with the Queen’s favor.

Her anger almost took the best out of her but if as on cue, a certain woman had taken her arm by surprise, latching gracefully but very, very possessively on it. The faint bouquet of sea salt and sand permeated her senses, making her feel more secure into this embrace. Who else could portray such elegance and refinement in such venomous words if not Michuru.

“..Ara, Michiru-sama…my apologies” she took her right hand in her own, leaving a lingering kiss on her knuckles. A kiss and a dance that had been in her debt for at least one month since they last seen each other.

Who would dare to make an upfront to such a mesmerizing woman? at least not the woman who now was almost kneeling to the ground, asking for the Princess’ of Neptune forgiveness.

Haruka could only plaster a fake smile on her handsome features, nodding her farewell to the woman who was being chewed on by the mermaid. She couldn’t imagine how disgraceful was to be called out on her manners and still, trying to make a snarky come back.

She did as she was told, stepping back into the ball room, taking Michiru’s hand in her own and tossing her white cape behind her shoulder. “Let’s just dance for the moment and see if I can steal you for let’s say…. dinner back at our premises?”. She bowed deep down, waiting for the waltz to start.

Receiving a kiss to her hand, the mermaid could almost melt in an instant. Still feeling the warm peck on her hand. Tug behind her teal color hair. Her ears turn slightly scarlet from the advance. But she did her best to keep up a straight face while she disciplines the rude Baron daughter. Her shameful behavior has often left a distasteful air in the room. Often ruining the celebrative mood and for her to behave in such a way in the Queen’s ball is without a doubt, a sin. 

Taking stage on the ballroom floor.“Oh my, stealing me? Hmm, wouldn’t that be a crime…”Twitting to the other as she does a curtsy.“And I would love to…" Agreeing to a dance as the waltz took place. Soon, the keeper of the Sea and Wind caught the attention in the room as they dominate the dance floor. Outshining everyone who partakes. That they receive looks a mix of admiration and jealousy. 

As the mermaid held her attention to the Knight alone, ignoring the world around her. It almost felt like. They were the only two people in the room as they dance away to the night.

As the first notes of the violin started, her heart accelerated. Centre-stage, she stood with her back arched and her hands stretched to the sky, as if in submission. The lights on the stage turned softer and the rhythm started to pulse into her. Her foot tapped to the steady beat of the waltz. Back and forth, she swayed as the beat picked up pace.they started moving, most of her jitters melted in the joint swells of music and pleasure. She wanted for Michiru to feel right in her arms, as she got caught in hers, the steps flowing between them like a sigh. Haruka’s breaths, short and secure due to the large of expertise...

People parted their way into the choreography, surrounding them, while they kept lost in the dance.

it wasn’t the first time the knight made a spectacle of her dancing prowess, it was very well know that whenever the opportunity arise, she would partake in the festivities and dance along the forever incredulous preying eyes of the spectators.

How awful and cruel was Michiru with the audience, always expectative, always on the brim of the dance floor, she had stole everybody’s glances and whisperings. Haruka was barely the frame that hold this breathtaking painting.

The violins signaled the end of the melody and the bystanders erupted in an unison applause, the dance was over and with it, any doubt that Haruka was free to be snatched by any woman, far gone from everybody’s mind.

“...what about we leave this place, Michiru..” her first name escaping from her lips, not noticing that it wasn’t common to break addressed only on first name basis.

Word Prompts: AU Edition: Mermaid o Royalty

“Come on, Captain!, Just one pint of ale and off we go”  a burly, bearded man patted her on the shoulder, almost too friendly for her likeness. The other five men stood rooted to their place, sharing awkward scared glances to each other. Seems like not everyone knew where to draw the line between comfortable and respectful, but oh boy, they definitely knew to not mess with their siege.

The ash blonde, combed some strands of unruly hair back to their rightful place, inhaling deeply before taking the man’s hand on her own and griping it into a lock, earning desperate cries for help from their fellow mates

“..One more pint and we go. I’m not in the mood for taking care of you lasses” She let go of his hand, the unruly sailor wincing with pain but with a lingering faint smirk on his very rough features “Ai, Captain…just one more” he shot his good hand into the air, signaling for the wench to bring another round of perfectly brew ale.

The tension had been broken and everything went back to normal, her underlings singing random sea chanties, a table full of ale pints and her eyes, roaming nonchalantly across the tavern. It was their last night on land, they would be sailing for months in order to protect the queen’s fleet and the empire’s portion of the seas from the so-called rats of the sea, Pirates.

A flash of aqua teal hair captured her senses, her frame was unpolluted, pale flawless marble skin, adorned by a classy, simple white and blue dress. Her aqua locks reached down to her back, covering timidly those alluring patches of naked skin..

She felt her throat dry all of the sudden, all air had been taken from her lungs and somehow that woman was at fault. She needed to regain such vital gasp of air back and something told her, she would be the only one who could grant such a powerful wish.

She stood up from her seat, signaling for another round of ale if only to keep her men at bay and distracted. Haruka could only follow the march that her feet signaled, impassive, hurriedly towards her side, however, falling short and just stopping behind her. This woman was humming a song with such ease, such…inviting temptation.

She couldn’t back down, her body wasn’t responding anymore and the woman right in front of her knew what she had done, what she had captured in her nets..

The woman turned around, facing an awestruck sailor, delighting her senses in such a marvelous view. Blonde ash hair, tired and tender blue hues, a face carved by Poseidon himself. A perfect specimen of the sea.

“….She’s a mermaid” Haruka thought fearfully to herself but her body wasn’t obeying her mind anymore.

“This audition is important dear,” she said, a chance to perform with the Saito Kinen Orchestra this summer was a chance to perform with the best classical artists in the world. It was a great honor to even get the chance to audition for them. “I want to make sure I look my best,” she said. 

Reaching up she parted the curtains, stepping out in a dress the deep color of the night sky. The long skirt ran throughout with silver beading, sparkling like stars. Michiru gave a gentle turn. “I was thinking I would wear my hair up with it. What do you think?”

Haruka walked up and down from their master bedroom, her attention fixated in the very stubborn golden cufflinks that wouldn’t just clasp themselves on her long sleeve formal shirt. Her normal exasperation began taking the best out of her while fighting for dominance with these little trinkets.

Her fiancée’s candied coated voice took her out from her bubbling anger, her eyes marveling with the scene that unfolded before her eyes. How could she not be so awestruck after so many years by her side, after another lifetime with such an endearing beautiful goddess. She was speechless all of the sudden.

A quite “clinking” sound took her out from her reverie, the cufflinks fell to the ground merciless shattering the dreamy haze she was being pulled into.

“..You always look your best, my love. And whoever thinks the opposite, doesn’t deserve to lay their gaze upon such a magnificent woman” She bent down to pick once again her relentless cufflinks from the floor.

Her feet obliged her to move from her hiding spot, she was being observed and…she wasn’t feeling too eager about it. Of course several court women had established her as their object of liking, something that Haruka found annoying in the inside…but never showing her true feelings to the others. Who would have the nerve to follow her around, knowing that any minute now, she could make them lose track of her whereabouts. Haruka found herself hiding from the figure that kept stalking her; however her senshi senses proved her right. This person was not a commoner of the court, she was somebody else.. It was to no avail keeping this hiding game, she would not escape, neither she would cease her investigations, Haruka decided to stop dead in her tracks, turning around to face her shadow..

“..Who are you and why are you so keen in following me?” she demanded, voice almost raging with anger. Her hand hanging lazily by her sword.

Fanning herself with her black feather fan. Michiru spotted a large crowd following a particular handsome blonde, who has caught the eye of several court ladies’. Leading a parade behind her. She laughs as she watches as the Senshi of the Wind tries to desert every one of them. Until Haruka is seen being corner by a lusty vulture, who refuses to let her go. 

As her rouge lips curl into a mischievous smile, she knew it was her time to come in and save the day. “Haruka-sama…” Taking the blonde’s arm and hugging them. Possessive. Pressing her bosom against it.  She was making it clear the Knight belongs to her and only her. “Did you wait long, my handsome Knight?” She smiles towards the other, before giving them a secret wink. “Forgive me for being fashionably late. You know how overprotective my daddy is…” Referring to the King of Poseidon since she was after all his only precious baby girl. 

Showing off and hugging her Knight’s arm affectionately. She welcomes the dagger stare from the lady of the court. 

“How dare you, you tramp!? Do you know who I-Michiru-sama….” As the mermaid took off her mask. “G-good evening, Michiru-sama…” The female vulture quickly turns pale and bow to the daughter of Poseidon.  “My-my, what sharp nasty tongue you have.” Michiru looks down at a rude woman who was now sweating profusely under her intense glare.  “I wonder. How my father would react? If he finds out, the foul tongue of the Baron’s daughter insulted his precious pearl.” As she leans in to whisper. “I would be more careful about how I wag my tongue in front of others if I was you…” Putting back her mask on. “You never know whose feet you might step on…” Giving the Baron daughter a fair warning before turning her attention to the Senshi of the Wind. “Oh! I love this song and you owe me a dance…” Pulling the blonde along with her to the dance floor. “And you owe me a date and a kiss too…” As the woman rested her left hand on the blonde’s right shoulder before clasping their left hand. “And your welcome by the way…” She smiles. “Unless you are keen to return to the hungry vulture behind us….” As more and more ladies of the court threw dirty glares at her, for stealing their catch of the night.

“One more time!” the boisterous blonde shouted at her fellow men in arms. Today was a typical sparring morning on the training grounds of Skerion. At least 10 buff, strong and muscular warriors were surrounding their commander in chief, being trained by the Knight of Uranus herself, was a privilege reserved only for the bravest and most daring soldiers in the battle lines.

Haruka stood proudly at the center of the field, her face sporting a couple of gashes and bruises due to the rough discipline she was trying to engrave on those poor souls that were left for her to mold. The men waited patiently for their sensei to signal them into their lesson one more time some were eager, some were way too wounded to even keep a right stand on their two feet but none of them dared to break formation. She closed her eyes, taking small, controlled breaths. The rush of energy that crept from her shoulder blades, down to her elbow finally ending on a numbing electrifying sensation that extended all through her fingers… This was her powers summoning her sword, materializing it into the flesh. Her fingers grasped its hilt, sensing the weight and length one more time. To this blade, countless enemies of the Silver millennium had fallen to her feet, not always on one single piece.

“…..Come” she whispered. Her sword pointing towards one of the cockiest soldiers of the roundabout.

A pair of emerald eyes gazed down from her hiding observation balcony. Prisms in hand and a faint smirk grazing her regal features. The daughter of Poseidon, was if not her favorite company at least the only one who wasn’t afraid of her own doings “….Oh my”.. she said, knowing perfectly that those boys didn’t stood a chance against the blonde knight.

“Happily Ever After” / Michiru x Haruka

She turned on the music from her stereo, her eyes lingering on the beach right in front of her emerald hues. Marveling on its ever-changing colors and what it meant for her… for them. Ever since she had found her destiny in the embrace of her own Neptunian goddess, Haruka had been blessed with the gift of peace of mind.  Something she had not achieved in almost 1000 years of waiting and craving war as her only way of living. Always inside any raging battle that would make her own thoughts disappear into the dust of time…

Who would say that now the only thing on her mind was waiting for Michiru to be ready so they could enjoy one more night at their favorite restaurant, just the two of them, lost in a world of their own. She closed her eyes, diverting in the aroma of the salty sea breeze and the music that surrounded her senses. “I’ve been looking for something girl, I think I found it in you”.. she hummed the lyrics not being aware that somebody was delighted in this scene.

“..Ara, are you enjoying yourself without me..Haruka?” opening one eye lazily, Haruka smiled coyly back at her “…well, you can always join in, Michiru..”

May she attend to the festivities in due to Princess Serenity’s birthday party” no signature whatsoever on the envelope nor the container itself.

“Princess…” the word resonated in her head, not feeling comfortable with said title. During her lifetime, Haruka had gained the title of Knight during all her passages, liberating battles within the inner circles of Uranian warriors. Being a simple Princess offended her ego. She was going to waste her talents as commander in chief of her own armies just to play babysitter with the Moon Princess.

Still as the letter smoothly commanded, she had to attend to the ball and make her amends towards the appointed crown even though her desires fail to accompany her whims.

A handsome, lean figure appeared on the court. Her presence still undisclosed to the attendants or the courtiers. However; the lingering eyes of the court fell upon her frame, for her choice of clothes evocated a higher rank than the rest of the crowd. A slender frame, covered in pearly white robes, black boots and trousers culminating with a wide dark grey hood. The shining armor plates that covered her shoulder pads and legs, were engraved with the sword, sigil of the house of Ether. The wind of her mother planet.

Her face was hidden beneath simple yet elegant carnival mask, her right-hand caressing playfully the hilt of her sword. She was dying of tedium until a couple of teal eyes felt upon her, staring intriguingly at her..

The daughter of the Sea, Michiru, stepped out from her coach. Catching the eyes of many, both men and women who set eyes on her, as she makes her presence known. She wore an emerald tank top gown with darker emerald green, bejeweled bodice that spikes onto the long skirt. Underneath the dress, there is a sparkly black petticoat showing. While around her shoulders, she wears a white faux fur shrug with silver heels. Plus, a set of sparkling pearls around her thin neck.

Many suitors attempted to reach for her hand. Aiding the damsel up to the many flights of stone stairs. As one man won and took her hand, he began to introduce himself, a prequel, before going through a lengthy details about himself and his family’s historical background. Attempting to charm the daughter of Poseidon with how much boots his family has licked to get where they are. This, of course, quickly bored the woman. That she kept the conversation in arm’s length, as she actually yawns behind her black feather fan. 

Arriving at the banquet hall. The daughter of Poseidon politely thanking the boring suitor before completely ignoring his existence. Donning on a black feather mask. Her eyes scan the masked crowd. Looking for a handsome devilish blonde who has laced her heart. The bold and beautiful, the keeper of the wind, Haruka. The daughter of Caelus has charmed the heart of many, both men and women. Including the mermaid’s heart. In secret, she often slips away from her home planet and ventures to the planet Uranus. Taking a peek of the dazzling knight in training. Watching her drip in sweat under the hot sun. Makes her legs buckle and heart swoon by her graces.

Of course. The proud daughter of Poseidon will not admit it publicly. Having the slightest interest in anyone. The night itself wasn’t one of her favorites so far, these futile reunions were not to her appeal. So many court folks pacing up and down the vast halls of the crystal castle, their steps rang all over the marble floors and into her fine-tuned ears. The laughs of the different appointed inner guardians filled the small throne room with joy and…nonsense, she had never intended to attend to this charade, but... she needed desperately to see her. The Neptune guardian, the keeper of the seas, daughter of Poseidon himself.

“..Can I have just one kiss” that shy smile ringing in her eyes, the feeling of soft porcelain skin against her hands, the eyes….those teal eyes that lulled her raging inner wind to a simple speck of dust. The princess of Neptune had asked her mischievously for a kiss. One she never granted.

what exactly does a low-maintenance rp partner mean? well… it means that I will never rush you for a reply ( ic or ooc ), meme or ask answer, or pretty much anything! take all the time you need, it really doesn’t matter to me. this isn’t a race, this is something that is done for fun! so, don’t feel obligated to do something or even be online, if you don’t want to. it doesn’t matter how long or fast it takes you to respond to me, if you’re my person, you’re my person. and if you go on hiatus, i’ll stick with you through it so when you come back it’s like nothing ever happened. never feel obligated to explain to me why it takes so long, i get it we all have other things we’re doing. some of us work full-time, some of us are in school full-time, some of us run multiple blogs and some of us just can’t find the will or motivation to write for a couple days on end… I never want you to feel pressured to interact/talk/associate with me. so, do what you need for yourself and just know i’ll be here in the background rooting for you!
