New Era University is a private educational institute in the Philippines. A school that started on 1975. At first it's just an ordinary school but as the time goes by the school slowly known by the people by implementing a good attitude towards others and also the school is run by Iglesia Ni Cristo and a non-sectarian school.

The school promotes christian values and service to humanity. It differs from others because the way they teach is you can see the passion in their eyes in teaching. You can't benefit from the knowledge you learned in school but the attitude they teach as a good inspiration. You will learned to be God-fearing and dedicated to all aspects of life and profound character building.

Cleanliness is you can see when you enter the school. The trees are standing tall and the flowers are blooming in a alluring way. The facilities fulfills the expectation of the students unlike the other school, it's clean and not smelly. The administration do their responsibility as the head of school. The guards often smiles when entering the school, although they are strict in terms of school I.d and uniforms sometimes they allow you to enter but promise not to do it again.

I always wanted to study here in NEU and it's also my dream school. I always look up to this school because I know they provide better quality of education. Now that I am here studying, I always cherished the moments I'm making. My parents also wanted me to study here as a member of INC they know that my schoolmate is also a member of Church of Christ and they don't worry for my future because of the academic excellence that the school is gaining.

They provide many organization that many students are interested to join. They conduct tree planting to help mother nature to be more majestic. They also have a special education for those person who have disabilities. All courses that you want is here plus the professor is good in teaching.

Studying here is an honor to me, they has equal treatment for the students and has many opportunities when you enter college. I am thankful because many people dreamed to study here but they dont have the privelage because they can't afford the tuition fee and sometimes they are far from home. I always boast about how good to study here.

Memories to treasure

We excitedly went to the car and find our seats to get ready to our fieldtrip. While inside the bus we talked about what we'll do for the rest of the day, whereas the others are singing along to the music.

Our first destination was the car museum, where the car that used by the previous president were displayed. I was so amazed by the cars, there's a small and huge automobile. And also I learned that their car number were all the same- number 1. I didn't know there's a museum inside the circle, I first discovered it that time.

I was fascinated by the pictures on the wall. The second destination were the Art Museum. I enjoyed walking around the museum, because me and my friends could play along with the pictures, you can use your imagination to trick the camera and make it a real situation. For the lunch, we stopped at the Moa to eat and to roam around. We went to National Bookstore to know if there are some interesting book.

Lastly, we went to our last destination which is at the Star City. Our enthusiasm were drawn on our faces when we rich the destination. We tried almost of the rides, but the unforgetable one were we rode in the starfrisbee, at first I am so excited but the next thing I know it was the worst decision I've made. My heart keeps pounding that time and I wanted to quit, but I think I am strong enough to ride that.

Time flies so fast, it's time to go home. The moon slowly showing up. The lights illuminated the night as the time's ticking. We start cleaning our things, to get ready to go. After a few minutes, we arrived at school and parted our ways.

We build a strong camaraderie, the bond that we had that time were unreplaceble. We had the best moment, that we all wanted to treasure. Sometime it's not about the grades because of joining the fieldtrip, but the memories were born that day.

My mother wake me up at 5:00 am, but sometimes its 5:30 am depending on my laziness. I always checked my messages, if there are some announcements that announces at night. After that I ate my breakfast and brush my teeth a few minutes.

I took a bath and get dressed, I don't spend too much in dolling up, as long as I look presentable then I'm okay with it. My sense of beauty comes up with the spray of perfume. I gather everything that I'll need for school, this includes my pens, notebooks, lunch and books that i'll be using for the day. After the preparation I'm ready to go to school. My mom and I are always together when going to school, my dad send my mom first to the school she's teaching and after that I'm next.

For the next 7 hours I study. I spent doing an activity, studying and participating. Today is Monday so our first subject is Stat, every meeting there's a reporter they taught us about their topic and later on do an activity. Second sub is Entrepreneurship, Sir Law is our teacher, he thought us about the cycle of business and how to be an efficient business man/ woman someday. We spent 30 minutes of break at the lobby. We talked about stuff and something about school works. Lastly, our last sub it is interesting because it talks about the family, friends, and teenage life. We tackle how important the individual in the society.

After school, I went straight to our home. Some other day, me and my friends go to UP town to buy the ingredients for our product, and head to our classmate's house to do our products. I change my school uniform to simple clothes, and read my notes if there are some assignments. Later that time, I watched bangtan episodes, vlogs, and surfing the net.

Sometimes I enjoy cooking and sometimes I burned what I'm cooking, in the end my mom scolded me. The night, is my favorite moment of the day because I'm comfortable, clean and ready to sleep. Before going to bed, I read my favorite book to fell asleep. I always talked to God before closing my eyes.

Cheap but Tasty

One of the famous street food in the Philippines is kwek kwek. It is a bright orange, that coated with orange tinted batter and then fried. The inside of a kwek kwek is an egg of a quail. It is deep in vinegar and sometimes a special sauce but you're not allowed to double dipping, because its gross. You can buy this food wherever you are.

This food is so popular to almost of the students because anyone can afford to buy it coz it's cheap. Its fun when you dont mind pricking how much you can pick, as long as you're enjoying the food then go.

The taste was great, the crunchy coating, the creamy egg and the vinegar was a perfect match. I love eating kwek kwek but I limit myself because of the high fat and cholesterol that are not good in our health.

In eating kwek kwek, you must be careful when choosing a stalls, make sure if their facilities are clean. It is not also good for those who have dermatitis and skin allergy because the main ingredient of it is chicken egg and the salt.

Sometimes eating this street foods is way better than eating in a fine restaurant that offers limited served food. The best in eating kwek kwek is sharing this to a friend or to your family.

Pet blog

In the article it says that pet ownership offers a multitude of benefits for physical and emotional health.

Nothing can compare how the the pets can be our stress reliver, it decreases sadness and anxiety. Having a pet is a lot of fun. You can be a parent in a young age.

5 years ago an unexpected visitor came, it's a dog specifically a chow chow, she's a 2 years old baby back then, her name is bimbim. At first she's shy and timid, she's coping up with the environment which is foreign to her.

When the time when she's comfortable to the surrounding. She started playing around, biting our slippers, and running when she's going to bath. I like it when she wiggle her tail when I'm knocking at the gate and jump at me when I open it.

She always make a puppy cutie little eyes, when she want a food and a when I'm scolding her when she's not behaving. She always make a scene whenever there's a visitor. Sometimes it iritates me because she's not following me and just continue playing, running and sniffing the guest.

There's was a time when she got mad because of the fly, I laugh so hard, she's so passionate to catch it but eventually she stopped and just rest.

I was so thankful to have her in my life, she's like a friend that whenever your sad, she's always there to cheer you up. My pet is not just a dog, it's a dog that makes you feel that you're special.

My bestfriend. I met her when I transferred in my 8th grade. She was my seatmate and the journey begin.

We always go to school together. We create memories like it was the last day of our life. She's my partner in crime, a sister to another mother and a cheatmate too, kidding. I remember when my uniform is not yet dry, I told her i cant go to school because of my situation, she also told me that she wont go too for the reason that Im not around, crazy right?.

Some of my classmate hate her because of her attitude, she's just true to herself im so used to it, i already accepted her flaws.

I thought our friendship will last long, like others it's just temporary. After a year we're on our 9th grade, we used to do our daily routine but as the month goes by, her treatment became vary, maybe bacause she gain friends. The way she act when with me is a total distort. Yes, we hanged out but not the same as before.

And we became strangers. I dont deal with people who are not true to me. Its only one year of our friendship but i treasured her a lot, but despite all of this she'll always be my bestfriend, very bestfriend.

Inside Out

Inside out is a movie that tells us about controlling our emotion. Emotions inside our brain portray how should we interact with others. Joy, sadness, anger, fear, disgust is the core of human emotions.

Joy, means happiness, an expression that give us delight, a feeling that gives us great comfort to pleasure our greediness to a thing or a person. Sadness, is the opposite of joy. A melancholic feeling that we feel when we are in grief, and it also points out the negativity in life. Anger, it is a feeling that annoyed or upset us. Fear, characterized by being frightened by something, and think about 'what-if' in life. Disgust, is showing a distrust on someone and avoidant. Having this kind of characteristics make us who we are today.

For some reason we thought sadness is useless in this world and happiness is all we need to evoke our emotion. In terms of problems sadness is the one we should lean on, it expresses our feelings to burst and gave us comfort.

We always think that the word 'sadness' is hopelesness, and no value in human emotion. Not all times we are happy, we can't learn a new lesson in life if we didn't feel any sorrow.

The most significant scene in the movie where joy realized that not all times is all about blissfulness. Every emotion is vital, we dont need joy at all times, sometimes its okay to express your feelings in different emotion.

Sorrow prepare us for unlikely situation. Its important to us to learn that we can face challenges in life. The movie show us how we crazily drive our emotion without controlling it. Emotional insight may help us in achieving our goals in life and how to be a better person in the future.

I fell, I rise

I was 9 years old when i moved to my lola's house. Every morning before I go to school she prepare's my breakfast , my school uniform and everything.

I was 10 when I entered the Rondalla club, everytime I'm having a hard time memorizing and getting the right tune of my instrument she was there cheering me up and reminding me how good i am.

I was 11 when I started joining a pageant. She was my make-up artist, hairstylist, a fashion designer and a manager too. Everytime I'm walking on the stage, she was there encouraging me to continue my straipsed. Everytime I'm answering a question from a judge, she was there to lift me up when i cant utter word.

I was 12 when a disaster came.

She was rush to the hospital.

4th of july when Im about to go to school when a cohorts of her approach me telling she already dead. I just walk away and I didn't care what she's saying.

It was 5:00 pm when the class ended.I was happily walking down the street when I saw a bunch of people entering our house. I ran as fast as I could because I know I was late in the welcoming party of my lola. I was happy when I saw a picture of her outside of our gate.

'Auntie, where's mommy?' (I always call her mommy)

'She's resting' she replied and fainted a fake smile.

I entered our house.

And finally..

I saw her

Resting and sleeping silently inside a coffin.

Tears fell down from my eyes, it feels like my heart stabbed a thousand times. The sting it caused me was so unbearable.

I was in a constant pain hiding in a mask of being okay. I dont want anyone worry about me.

After a month, our examination came. I only got 12 out of 50. I was on a top but now I failed.

In a very young age, I planned comitting suicide. I was eager to end the pain in my heart, hoping it was the best solution.

I was walking in an astray path leaving the light behind me. While I'm in the midst of my agony, a weird man approach me.

'Comitting sucide is a sin from above, it cannot heal your aching heart. Sadness will just kill your sanity. Talk to God and it will mend your sorrowful heart.' He says while fading away.

Then it awaken me. The dream was very vivid. It such a beautiful thing happened to me, I know God use him to comfort me.

I just realized something very important, unexpected happenings came into your life to teach you to grow and learn from it. Be a positive person in this world full of negative thoughts. Don't let your sadness control you. Rule them with your blissfulness.

We boarded to the car as we getting along into the busy street, together with the sun started to rose in morning. Silence filled the car with the tired eyes drawn on us but the excitement that were hiding is obviously shown. The car made it's way to the rocky road, surrounded with pine tall pine trees, we nonchalantly step inside the room and planned the etenerary for the day.

We welcomed by the cold wind as we entered the ouside. The serene place touch our heart by cherishing the majestic view of Tagaytay City, where we can overlook the smallest volcano in the world. It is a place that we should not be seen the view but also experience it in our life.

Happiness painted on our faces as we saw the entrance of sky ranch, we hurriedly run towards the ticket store. The place where selling a lot of colorful souvernirs, clothes and tasty food. Many people as well as my friends and I are enjoying the place, a lot of rides were kinda scary but we tried to rode it. The ride that we decided to rode first is the anchors away, we were at the last row. At first I am not afraid but when the ride started to swing back and forth, faster and faster I feel like my soul was left behind. As a result I only ride once and never tried other activity. It drives me insane that I don't want to repear it again.

The highlight is the Taal volcano, just looks straight ahead to horizon and you'll see the breathtaking scenery of the volcano that located in the middle of the lake. The lake was formed during prehistoric eruptions between 140,000 and 5,380 BP, and it was last erupted in 1997.

The sun goes down, the orange hues of the sun spread through the city. The light slowly illuminated the night by it's glittering effect. Before we went here, I didnt appreaciate the beauty of it, but now I know why. The spectacular beauty of the place drive me crazy that I want to go back soon.

The ethereal beauty comes from a place where you find comfort, this city will forever be carved into people heart. Sometimes you go to a place not to enjoy the view but to collect memories and treasure it.

Step to success

You may seem teachings is easy, but can you guess how hard it is to face every student with different characteristics? How to handle them with such difficulties? Do you consider them as an important person that helps you achieving your goals in life?

For every teachers that I met, you are the only one who accepted us. Low voice that calm every one of us when you're speaking, a big figure that makes us smile when entering the class.

School is our second home, teachers is probably our second parent. He teaches us to acquire our knowledge when it comes to studying. Despite the tiredness, our teachers never fail in understanding his students although he gave us a lot of school works, we never complain because it is the way to practice us to be responsible in the future.

Teachers are like fairies that helps us in achieving our dreams, it takes steps but when you reach the point it's overwhelming. Patience that never shear the thread when it reaches the boiling point, we're very sorry that time that we made a banner just to say sorry to you, but you just ignored it making us to feel more sad. But in the end you forgave us and we promised that we will never do that again.

Sincerity plastered on his face, you can see that he love the work where he belong today. He told us a story one day that he came to a different countries and tries a lot of work just for choosing a job that suits his taste other than teaching, yet he came back to continue his dream profession.

He doesn't even know that I always look up to him, making him as my inspiration to be succesful in life. We made a memorable day, in our last day of classes, we make sure that we prepare everything smoothly so that we can remember and remisnisce in the future that we've done this. I promise one day, when we met again I'll him that I am so grateful that I met a teacher like him.

This is one of my favorite songs from them, they are also one of the reasons why I keep moving forward and continue another chapter of life. They promote to love yourself more than to love others.

In this world we are living in a situation where everyone is judge you, that a fake smile tends everyone that we are all fine. Hiding in a mask of being okay but in reality we are all wreck. Doing your very best but we know that our best is not enough for them.

Surrounding us by expectation, will lead to pressure that will eat us and inflicted us by being sad. I free my mind from all of the toxicity brings the world to me. I am now positively happy and enjoying my life in it's fullest.

We should hold on and rode the tide as long as we're alive. Life give us a problem that we can solve, it teaches us to be brave to handle a situation that we think we can't do it.

"Let's make a door.. It's in your heart, open the door and this place will await... magic shop.." The only way to accept failure is to hug them tightly with all of your heart. Unexpected happenings come into your life to teach you to grow and learn from it.
