Thought it would be fun to show some summaries of some Kagurabachi fanworks I'm writing (and can show), while adding some notes about the work. Some of them are for Bachitober, some of them are stuff that has been stuck in my mind for a (long) while. Take a wild guess on what the plot/theme is just based on the summary.

Got this idea while writing a certain work, thought it would be a fun character study with the presentation I'm using for it.

Something for a Bachitober prompt, had a particular pairing in mind for a while—that I think I've brought up at some point in a Discord server?—that I wanted to explore since I haven't seen written on Ao3 yet (at the time when I made this post at least).

(Semi-)Lighthearted thing for another Bachitober prompt, working out characterizations is fun (when I'm not losing my mind over if the character sounds "right" in my characterization/writing).

Yet another Bachitober prompt, with that same pairing I mentioned earlier. Descriptions and figurative language are going to be fun for this one.

This was an idea I had during the Shiba Suffering Sabbatical, but realized I wouldn't have enough time to flesh it out and publish it for the event.

This one I can't wait to show once I have the first chapter finished—very much a product of mixing two medias that I enjoy (or at least, an element of another media with Kagurabachi) together. Probably the one I have the most investment in, for...reasons.

I don't know when nor how it started—maybe during her first appearance, maybe later on when I had time to sit in contemplation and sink into the endless sea of thoughts—but I've been thinking a lot about Her lately.

Thinking about how she might look, with the sun shining behind her. About how she might sound like, with her laughter brightening up an entire room. About maybe motifs of melodies and music surrounding her, within her voice, her character. There's already theatrical themes throughout, why not another?

Her habits—perhaps not much of a cook, perhaps not having much in general when it comes to "traditional skills for women". But she's more than that. Maybe her voice gets a little loud in volume when she's talking about something she's passionate about, maybe commentates about things that she notices. Maybe she finds some bugs to be kind of cute, from a distance at least.

A sense of humor too, good natured pokes and teases, someone that'll laugh with you rather at you. A comforting presence, where she doesn't hold ill-will against anyone, where you don't have to feel heavy judgment under her gaze. At her core, you believe she's a genuine, good person. Maybe she has her own flaws, sure, but that's what makes her human. To have flaws, and still choose to be a good person.

Perhaps, at some point, she's the entire reason why you can believe the goodness in this accursed city, this war-torn country, this nebulous world. A reason to keep having hope for the future, to continue to be as good as you can be in this universe. You listen to her voice that holds so much conviction that the future matters—that you matter—that it's simply the truth. If she say it, then that's that. She's your hero, in all the ways that matters.

So then, is it a truly a life worth living, if your reason to keep your personhood, your humanity, your existence, is gone? Would her death not overwhelm you with grief? The memories of her, replayed over and over like a cassette tape, endlessly, as you think of every possibility you could've done to prevent her death.

To think that your goodness means nothing, if she's not here anymore. To think that your humanity matters anymore, if she's not here.

"Existence is suffering", and so, you think you shouldn't be a person anymore, now that the person that makes you feel like one is gone. (But is that really something that she would want for you?)

In your grief, you lose yourself—the person who she fell in love with in the first place.

I think I'm becoming delusional about Yura's wife.

Slowly getting through my (Steam) game backlog, it's been pretty neat. Some are slower to finish than others—though that's usually due to streaming some of those games to my friends in Discord—but still enjoyable nonetheless. Maybe I should give my thoughts on some of the games I play during/after playing the game. Could probably do a similar thing for other types of media too.

Just have to figure out how to fit all of that in my schedule, alongside IRL happenings and writing fanworks.

Maybe I should start doing long-winded dissections and rambles in the comment section of fanfics I find neat, instead of just continuing to just read and lurk.
