In Seoul, we pleasure our souls Part XVIII.

I love the weekends because they are mine to keep. I don’t like it when people say that I am very lucky to be here and enjoying life and all. I mean, everyone has seen the joyful side of what I am going through. Yet, how many of you can understand all the sacrifices, difficulties I have made to come for HISS. And how many of you can empathise with the heavier side of being away from home , waking up everyday feeling worried for something? Nah, cause I just chose to keep all the unhappiness within me.

Back to the point of the weekends, it was great relaxing with company that matters and just walking with them, casting all the worries to one side! Gonna miss this feeling when I am back in Singapore haha. No, I am not sick of anyone’s faces:) I kind of feel that friends are the ones that make this trip worthwhile!

At the same time, I miss home a lot as well. Skyping my loved ones almost everyday, I think this is my first time doing it and honestly it isn’t easy cause I absolutely hate listening to my voice over the phone/calls. But I miss everyone in Singapore as well, so I try and make it a point to stay connected to them! However, I do apologise if my calls are a bit lacklustre cause I am not rooming alone and its very inconvenient for Kester to be accommodating to my Skype timing as well. And constraints set by external stimuli are not within my control because I cannot change them. Yeap, back to my final day of travelling in Seoul:)

In Seoul, we pleasure our souls, Part XV. A good scouting at WSM yesterday with Dillon and his Korean friend. So fortunate cause they literally brought me to see all the food places we can explore and I realised that we have been spending excessively😂 In korea, we do what the koreans do. So i tried a haircut recommended by Dillon's friend and a hairstyle recommended by Woojin. Turns out okay and I am another step towards Korean look😂😂 unintentionally! Still cannot forget how the auntie downstairs screwed up my KSH hair hahaha! Now its so hard to grow back! Noraebang with Sandy and Lynn and I would say its quite a unique experience! Even though we spent alot of time trying to figure out which songs and how to use the machine, which is written unfortunately in korean, we just poured our souls singing whatever we can haha! Lets sing again in Singapore:) Chimae at chicken bus afterwards! Love the seasoning! Much nicer than 4 fingers:) Finished my 10 chapters of summary and thank goodness our prof removed the need for the report lol. 10% is abit too little for so much things!

In Seoul, we pleasure our souls Part XII. Mid terms are over and this meant half my summer is down! I guess good and bad, cause this summer programmes have brought me a lot of inconveniences but at the same time it brought me a lot of enjoyment as well:) Starting from school, I am really thankful for taking the 3 business mods because I have genuine interest in them and I look forward to learning new things from them. Even though I am quite distracted in class, hello its summer yoooo, but I do enjoy the lessons:) Out of the three, I learnt the most from Money and Banking (and the test is the most vigorous too) while I enjoyed Cons behavior the most:) the friends I have made from this international school is indispensable. Woojin helped me alot in all the korean stuffs cause I knew nuts about Korean haha. Really thankful that he went out of his way to have a delivery dinner with me in my hostel:)) and I enjoyed hearing from him about his perspective about South Korea. Hope to meet him again in exchange since he is going to Germany. Jacob told me so much about the States and explained to me that US is somewhat like UK but tighter haha! Hope he can come over to Singapore soon so I can show him around:) Bingyu and Jiayi, even though they are PRCs studying Singapore, came across to me as really responsible individuals. I love their work and their proactiveness when it comes to giving quality work and advice on the project:) These are the people I will miss after Summer, in addition to my travel group mates haha. Somehow I really enjoyed travelling with Zhiwei as well cause he's really accommodating yet he knows how to get around things. Like there is no pressure travelling with him:) SH is not bad as a planner, but sometimes he can be quite insistent in his views. But nonetheless, I am thankful to him for taking care of our weekend plans cause its seriously not easy to plan for so many people! This week, we went over to Gangchon Railpark for a cycling and I would say while its much shorter than we all expected it to be, the view is really sceneric and quite okay. The lunch near Gangchon is really good though, seems like alot of celeb recommended it also haha! The chicken is really tender and I love the Goguma sticks they added into the gogogi😂 forgot the shop name though, can see our photos for the food hahaha! Petite France is a let down though. Everything seems really fake and touristy. Was so turned off by all the tour groups flooding the main part, i thought it would be quiet like the Jung Ji Hyun scene😞 but nvm la, one time the experience. But because I have seen France in this state, I am really excited about our road trip in aug-sep:))) while safety is an issue, I would love to experience travelling with Xinyi on our own:D Speaking of her, I do miss her alot haha. Going through hard times but I am not there for her physically kind of sucks and I wish that I would be there with her😞 Haha will exchange be far worse? I leave that to my faith in the relationship and time to further strengthen it:) and i believe in my girl😁
