Hey yall! as a minorly successful (hasnt gotten nuked yet) mcytnsfw blog I have some tips for yall since we have a lot of new guys in the sphere. Seriously where are you guys all coming from
Iâm not saying Iâm an expert, but in my year and a half Iâve not been nuked Iâd like to share what I think helps.
For these examples I am using rendoc fucking as a stand in for any content at all. Think any kink, ship, or character. This doesnât only apply to certain things. It applies to all of them.
- DONâT MAINTAG SHIT
Literally the easiest step. If youâre posting Rendoc fucking, donât use the main rendoc tag. Easy as that. Some people donât wanna see Rendoc fucking for any reason and thatâs valid. You will get nuked. This is the number one reason for getting nuked. Donât be stupid about this.
- GIVE WARNINGS, USE CUTS
Sometimes you donât realise a post is going to have Rendoc fucking until you see the post itself. Cuts help with this. Above the cut put any warning you need, whether itâs in big letters âTHIS POST HAS RENDOC FUCKINGâ or in normal text âRendoc fucking under cutâ. If youâre answering an ask that can usually suffice (ex: âcan you draw rendoc fucking?â Implies on that post itâs going to have rendoc fucking, but a second warning always helps)
- USE BLOCKABLE TAGS
Donât make your tags incomprehensible. No one wants to block every variation of rendoc, rendoc/docm77, r*nd*c, r.nd.c, wolfcreeper etc. find one system youâre going to use for your tags and stick with it. If youâre using periods to replace vowels, make sure you stay by that. If youâre using associated words, stay by that. It can be hard to remember where you censored a word (ex: r.en vs re.n) but check your older posts to make sure because you donât wanna have to block that many more variations. Try and make it clear what tag is for what (ex: wolfcreeper, <- my rendoc tag) so itâs clear what to block. Your best friend is a generic tag lots of people use. Mcytnsfw, hermitnsfw, sosnsfw, outsidernsfw, any version of that tag is the easiest to use and to block.
- STAY IN YOUR LANE
Sometimes itâs hard to know whoâs a nsfw blog or if they just reblog suggestive things sometimes. Thatâs okay. Play it safe and interact with people youâre confident are okay with being interacted with. If someoneâs blog doesnât have anything related to rendoc fucking, donât submit an ask about rendoc fucking. If their pinned post says âdonât talk about rendoc fuckingâ, DEFINITELY DONâT TALK ABOUT RENDOC FUCKING TO THEM. Also just try not to interact with ccs. They donât want to see that most likely. They most likely wonât notice an occasional very rare reblog or like, but the more you interact with them the more risk someone who doesnât want to see your stuff will see your stuff. You will get nuked. Play it safe. Just block them if itâs too irresistible. Use the block button liberally, for any reason. Itâs not just to make sure you donât see them, but that they donât see you.
- USE OUTSIDE LINKS FOR ART
Tumblr doesnât like us. It will nuke you if you post uncensored rendoc fucking. Have a link for the art instead that people have to click. Mastodon (with limits), Pixiv, and squidge are the ones I know of that people use. Feel free to ask other people in our sphere what they use! Donât use discord, the links will only last for so long.
These are the main points I can think of. Obviously thereâs nuances in some aspects but as a general rule this is what I try to stick to! Stay alive, have fun, export your blog often so when it gets nuked you still have all your hard work.
Okay, look. Scott's the assigned psychologically abusive husband, which in my opinion is way worse than getting mad from time to time and just hitting Tim because he lost his temper. Or maybe just throwing things around n scaring him, not that bad at all!
Tango burning jimmy is incredibly fun if he doesn't do it /on purpose/ but isn't exactly great about apologizing or taking the blame for it after. Like owch. He's not malicious, ofc not, but he doesn't feel like it's his fault. And jimmy probably does feel like it's her fault. And tango feels kinda bad but isn't gonna correct jimmy on that.
