I'm an adult and this blog is essentially a soapbox I stand on to yell into an abyss. Then it turned out people liked listening to me ramble so I ended up yelling a lot more. Another mental health rant from yours truly but I do think that the focus on where your system originated from and what disorder you do or don't have is counterproductive and harmful

The focus should be coping mechanisms, support and finding ways on how to navigate being a system

Honestly, when it comes to mental health it has always had a focus on how to help the people with being able to function and navigate through life

Sometimes understanding why that is is helpful, and sometimes it's actually harmful [there's actually an ongoing controversy on if it's harmful or helpful to tell patients their diagnosis because it can go either way]

Truthfully, the system community just feels like a minefield where if you say anything about your experiences, thoughts or feelings, then you're not a system and/or you are morally and factually incorrect

In other words I feel like syscourse [and a majority of the system community as a whole] is incredibly toxic and detrimental to people's mental health but hey that's just me
