"Heh, guess who's birthday it is tomorrow!?" He grins a sheepish grin.
In a green park, under a tree, stands a boy now sopping wet from his hatted head to his leather boot clad toes. Water trickles down his fedora when he huffs in frustration, betrayed by the greenery above him that was supposed to serve as a shield from the weather. While listening to the drops hitting the leaves, he tries to recall how he ended up in this situation. Ah, right. He mumbles. Arms slowly crossing across his chest. It was supposed to be a nice walk to the grocery store, when he decided on a detour through the park and the weather went sour. Syo snivels and rubs his nose. Right then, he hears something shifting around on the other side of the tree. Something.. or someone? Perhaps another weather victim? With a few blinks and a confused, raised eyebrow, Syo leans out to the side to inspect who might be there - a few drops running down his face and dripping off his chin. "Ah, hello?"
Spending all our time [@cutethatkills]
[10:03 PM] To Syo-kun: Syoo-kun!! We have to hang out together. How about karaoke?? [10:07 PM] To Rena: Ok! That sounds like a cool idea!
Syo gave his phone a small smile before letting it slip back into his pocket. Karaoke night it is. He stretched out his hands and drummed his knees a few times, then looked at the time. Time to get ready? First, to style his hair.
Perhaps she got a little more excited than she intended. She got ready an hour prior and she decided to come over after that. While Syo was still getting ready. She knocks on the door, tapping lightly at first then pressing the doorbell.
"Syo-kun! Syo-kun!"
"Ah?" He leans out from around a corner. Was she here already? He turns around and goes over himself once. Way underdressed.
"Rena!? Wait a minute!" Syo starts scampering around the apartment, quickly snatching up pants and a shirt as he does.
Kiss You & Hello Especially
Kiss You:
Syo hasn’t truly kissed anyone yet. He’s a very romantic and passionate person, and I think though he hasn’t had much opportunity to talk about it; the concept of first kisses excites him, and he can’t wait to have his own to talk and brag about. He’ll probably romanticize it as well, blowing it a bit out of proportion.(Here on Toshi, Syo’s first kiss was from Ichinose Tokiya in a crack game of truth or dare.)Hello Especially:
Recently, he’s managed to make a few friends.Rena (@cutethatkills): He likes to greet her with a sweet tone. She’s a kind girl, and Syo is as careful as someone like him can possibly be to not speak too carelessly.Asako (@lovelyotakublogger): Laid back. Asako is one of his closest friends and he likes to greet her with a simple “Yo!” He doesn’t give it much thought, as she makes him relax in that way good friends tend to do.Tokiya (@tokiyameki): A little more tense. Syo and Tokiya sometimes nip at each other whenever they have a conversation alone. The idol holds respect toward him however, and they are friends. Syo usually relaxes more around him after greetings are through, and more so if mutual friends are present.Ittoki (@dokiittoki): Also laid back, though not in the way he is with Asako. Syo knows that Ittoki tends to get a little enthusiastic with physical attention and tries his best not to let his guard down lest he’ll probably have the red-head using him as a human matress in a matter of minutes.Kano (@mendaxdays): Tense. “YOU.” Kanos teasing gets on Syo’s nerves like crazy, yet the other boy keeps popping up wherever his friends are. He doesn’t seem like a bad person, Syo is just incredibly confused by him and wants to find out his true intentions some way.
Puberty
Puberty isn’t something that Syo likes to linger on. He’s much too busy and high paced when it comes to other things to let it bother him too much. So far, however, it’s treated him relatively well - if you disregard his height. Syo has yet to have his growth spurt, that is. However, if asked, he strongly believes that it’s just a matter of time before he’ll grow just as tall as anybody else. Whether it’s true or not remains to be seen: unfortunately, it probably isn’t.
Let It Out.
Syo usually deals with negative thoughts loudly and vibrantly. Since he’s a pretty overdramatic personality, it can be pretty easy to see when he’s feeling upset or not happy. He will either be loud, or very frank about what the situation is. A trait that might not always be beneficial. Under special circumstances, though, he can keep quiet. But it is extremely difficult and also very rare.

Mornin' [@Tokiyameki]
Syo quickly nodded at the mention of a yukata. He’d much rather wear that than Tokiyas clothes. At least in a situation like this.
With Natsu moved aside, he stood up and brushed himself off, tugging a bit at the oversized shirt. It seemed like the apartment was full of animals, and not all of them even belonging to Tokiya. He started wondering what it would be like to have living space full of animals, but shrugged it off. Soon, they were outside, and the boy was glad to at least be dressed this time. He didn’t attract any wry looks or anything and it actually felt fantastic. After a short walk came Tokiyas question about what Syo was doing here. What was he doing here? He took a few seconds to loudly recall. He rubbed the back of his neck, seemingly embarrassed. "Well, I felt like I lacked a special ‘bang’ in my acting, you know? There is just something more I could add to my performances, and I want to find it!" He looks to the side.
"Maybe it’s here in Toshi City. If it is, I’ll definitely find it." - and kicks the dirt a little. "A spark, or whatever. Inspiration!"
Something that he lacked? As far as he could tell, Syo was an amazing singer, had a good filmography, and he was hard-working. Tokiya had to admit, Syo was a great idol.
And yet, he left to find that ‘spark’—…
"That’s admirable." he said out loud, finishing his train of thought. Oops. Realizing what he said, Tokiya not-so-discreetly coughed into his hand, and shoved the into his pockets.
"I mean… well, I hope you find it." Tokiya said, and he was being genuine about it as well [if that assurance was needed as well!].
"Here it is." the two stopped in front of a house. It looked like it had been standing for a while, but the house inside was refurnished. It was basically Tokiya’s pride and joy. The one place he could escape and just relax for once in his life.
"Come inside— take your shoes off near the entrance. I’ll go get you a yukata." he said; the Teahouse was indeed like a house. A few minutes later, he brought a pale blue yukata, passing it over to Syo.
"So what do you think?"
It wasn't hard for him to tell that Tokiyas compliment was a slip of the tongue, and found it a bit amusing. Never the less, he took it to heart, as well as his good luck wish. He did it with a small smile and a chuckle. "Heh, thank you! I'll make sure to look extra hard for it!" Saying that out loud made Syo a bit extra motivated as they both made their way over and into the tea house. The place was positively spotless. The fact it was this popular didn't catch him by surprise at all - he wouldn't have expected anything less of Tokiya. His shoes slipped off and were put neatly to the side as he accepted the yukata and took an extra look around as the other asked for his opinion.
"This place, it looks awesome! It's very you. I'm impressed."

Leans head on his shoulder.
"Eh?"
"Yo, Asako! What’s up?" He grins and ends the question with a small ‘heh’.
"Nothing much, just really happy. I got a new roommate and it’s an old friend of mine oh and Reiji-nii moved to town too. What about you?"
"Heeeh? New roommate?" Shifting his weight to the left, arms crossed. "What are they lik- HAAH!? R-Reiji is here too!?"
Mornin' [@Tokiyameki]
A small chuckle escaped the boy as he accepted the kitten, picking up on Tokiyas protective nature toward the animal. Syo held her in a soft grip and placed her in his lap before proceeding to pet her. It really was a cute cat.
"Hey, the name is ‘Natsu’, right? Ah! I get it. Could it be you named her after—-" He noticed Tokiya eyeing the clock for maybe a good half minute. Blue hues blinked in response. His eyes, were they stuck on the clock? Or maybe he found the situation awkward? Mouth opened to say something; Tokiya interrupted him just in time with the suggestion of visiting the tea house. Right, he completely forgot. The tea house. Syo was curious about Tokiyas new work place. He eyed Tokiyas dog who just entered the room, while replying:
"Yeah, why not! It will be interesting to see where Ichinose Tokiya works."
"Alright, then. Let’s go." he eyed Syo once more; the shirt was really big on him. "If you’re fine with it, I have smaller yukatas at the Teahouse."
Wasn’t he full of surprises; helping people out, and offering clothing too? How un-Tokiya-like.
Tokiya scooped up Natsu and put her aside. She mewled in protest, but nonetheless, scurried away to the four other kittens that were all perched lazily in the hallway. Tokiya looked at Syo once more.
"My roommate has about.. three more kittens." he explained as he put Biscuit on a leash. "And got me another one." Roommates were hard work, he thought to himself.
Tokiya leisurely walked down the sidewalk, the Teahouse only a block away. As he could see the rooftop of the Teahouse, a thought occured to him—
— “So, what are you doing in Toshi anyways.” he asked.
Syo quickly nodded at the mention of a yukata. He'd much rather wear that than Tokiyas clothes. At least in a situation like this. With Natsu moved aside, he stood up and brushed himself off, tugging a bit at the oversized shirt. It seemed like the apartment was full of animals, and not all of them even belonging to Tokiya. "I’m home!" Drops gym bag by the door. Nothing like a good workout.
"Welcome home!"
"Yo, Asako! What's up?" He grins and ends the question with a small 'heh'.
He watched as the young man stood up and dusted himself off. Syo couldn’t help but take note of the silence. Was he hurt? Had he come off as rude? To give him some space, he took a few steps back and waited for a response. What he didn’t expect was the notepad. The boy blinked and at the piece of paper, then up again at Aine. Perhaps he was sick with a sore throat? He thought it best not to inquire and left it. Instead, he donned that side-smile again.
"No problem, you know? You were the one who fell over. It’s almost like I should apologize for being in the way, heh. You aren’t hurt, are you?" What a strange encounter.
{ ღ } Aine shook his head in response to the other’s question, before writing back to the younger male.
「'I'm fine.'」He wrote back, giving a polite smile back to Syo to show that he was okay. Then the bluenet paused, remembering that he was shopping here for a reason. He needed something to eat tonight that wasn’t take-out.
The florist flipped a page and quickly continued writing on his notepad and showed the blonde a new message.
「'Do you know where I can find the frozen food aisle? I just moved into town.'」
Waiting for a few minutes for the other male to finish reading, he flipped to the next page and wrote another message.
「'I'm tired of eating take-out.'」
He gave an approving nod when Aine confirmed that he was, indeed, fine - then kept watching with interest as he flipped a page to write him another message. Frozen foods, eh? Syo recalled how he himself had been just as lost not too long ago, and gave Aine another nod after he was done reading the message and letting it process. It turned out that his new acquaintance was tired of eating take-out. With a small chuckle, he raised a hand and waved at Aine, ushering him over.
"I'm here for the same reason. Ok! Let's go! I know where it is. Follow me and you won't get lost." He wouldn't admit it, but it made him a little proud to be able to show Aine the way since he had been lost here too at an earlier point in time.
"I'm home!" Drops gym bag by the door. Nothing like a good workout.
Hello again [@Rencharming]
The streets were always busy around this time of day. Normally, the crowds wouldn’t draw much of Syo’s attention - save for maybe having to sidestep once or twice - but this time it was different. One step to the left had given him a glimpse of something familiar. A familiar color. Orange.
"Ren!?" With a hitch of breath at the surprise, he was ready to sprint after the young man and tap his shoulder as a makeshift greeting. But the crowd was too thick. Syo had to settle for nearly swimming through the mass of people, nearly knocking off his hat in the process. Red. The traffick light flicked red, and as the crowd stood still as a mere collective murmur, Syo could see Ren across the street. Damn it. Too late. This was no good. He needed to get his attention. The boy had already run into two of his old co-workers here in Toshi city. Ren should have been no shock, but he was. The traffic wasn’t going to get in the way of a reunion, he decided. So instead he inhaled loudly and yelled in a way only Syo can.
"REN!" And people stared. A little too loud, maybe? This boy wouldn’t know.
{ ♪ } The crowd was more bustling than Ren would have liked, but he had walked to the mall and had to walk back the same way he traveled despite the traffic. With everyone talking it was difficult to hear anything, even his own thoughts, but with no expectations to see anyone he knew in the crowd his focus was inward rather than listening for his name.
He crossed the street, pausing to rub at the back of his neck. He thought for a moment he might have heard someone familiar, but shook his head and continued walking a few feet before the yell that rose about the city noise was too crisp and clear to mistake.
The strawberry blond-haired idol spun towards the street he had crossed moments before, his eyes settled on the mass of people waiting for the light to turn and a familiar head of gold among strangers.
Ochibi-chan, hm? He raised a hand and spread out his fingers in a fluid gesture of ‘Yes, hello, I heard you, I’m waiting,’ a smirk already forming on his lips while he waited for the shorter idol to catch up. — ♬
The cars just wouldn't stop coming. One after another, luxurious after cheap, they kept coming. Syo hadn't come here to count cars. Not only that, people were beginning to get impatient as well. Scuffing and moving about. It made him a bit annoyed. Damn, he just wanted to say hello to an old colleague. Finally the traffic lights flicked red, allowing people to pass. He raised a hand as a response to Rens gesture, as if to say 'I'm on my way'. The group of people he was moving with almost covered the sight of him. To anyone else, he'd just look like a bobbing hat with a raised hand. Thankfully, that wasn't on his mind. "Yo, Ren!" And now he reached his goal. Syo nicked his raised hand a bit as a greeting before lowering it. Things didn't seem too different here. But he wouldn't know until the conversation actually started.
"Heeeh? In Toshi City too, huh? I'm amazed! It seems all of us came to the same place."
"Ah?" He turned around to see who had just ran into him and was quick to offer the stranger a smile and a hand before even registering their face. The collission hadn’t bothered him much, so he figured the unlucky new acquaintance must have been a lightweight.
"Are you okay?" His smile widened a little to the side. They looked friendly. While his one hand pulled Aine up into a stand, he used the other to grab his basket and hand it back to him.
{ ღ } Somehow, Aine was always finding himself falling to the ground. He should really stop that; he was getting too old for his age. The blue-haired florist winced as he rubbed his sore behind, only to find a hand extended out to him.
The stranger he had bumped into was a young blonde male. Graciously, he took the hand to stand back up again. He nodded to answer the boy’s question and dusted his jeans, before taking back his basket.
Looping the basket’s handles around his arm, he pulled out a notepad and scribbled into it, before showing it to the other.
「'Thanks! I'm sorry!'」
He watched as the young man stood up and dusted himself off. Syo couldn't help but take note of the silence. Was he hurt? Had he come off as rude? To give him some space, he took a few steps back and waited for a response. What he didn't expect was the notepad. The boy blinked and at the piece of paper, then up again at Aine.
