That's easy! Just use larger, slightly grayer and lighter color blocks when laying down the base, then gradually increase the saturation as you refine the details.

On my way to ship two characters from a 300 yo book who's with me?

The blonde one is Tiberge and the brown haired one is DesGrieux (cos i forgot to write their names on that chart) and both of them are my beloved boys from the 18th century.

I do have to come up with a design for Manon, because girlie is beautiful but has no description at all in the book, and all of the ones I'm coming up with now are Not It.
