HeyHo it‘s Rachel.

I‘m turning 21 in december (so I am a Capricorn ♑️)

This year I‘ve started university and I‘m studying Comparative Literatur and Theatre & Performance Studies.

Both of them are so much fun, and I‘m so happy to study 2 things I absolutely love, which leads us to my (pretty chaotic) get to know me post.

As you maybe already saw, I love many different book genres. From Macbeth, Rebecca & Handmaid‘s tale to dark romance & romantasy you can catch me and my interest with pretty much anything.

My favorites are Looking For Alaska, ACOTAR, Heaven, Heartstopper

That’s pretty much the same for theatres and musicals, which I‘ve always loved. I‘ve even been in a musical choir for 12 years now, so it has always been a part of my life.

My favorites are Wicked, Elisabeth, Rebecca, Six, Hamilton, Rocky Horror& Mean Girls

Aside from that I also love a good movie night or to binge watch a series like pretty little liars, Kinn Porsche, High Potential, Maxton Hall, Mr. Monk, Matilda, Ten Things I Hate About You, Barbie, Disney and basically every rom com from the early 2000‘s

I also love video games (again everything from cozy to horror is welcome) like Life is strange, Outlast, It Takes Two & The Last Of Us

The characters I can identify with the most (and the ones I also love the most) are Alaska Young, Rachel Amber, Lydia Beaufort

So on this blog you can find pretty much everything. I‘ll probably talk/write about the things I love and review them, write some fan fiction, or write just about my thoughts and my life in my twenties.

Tonight my inner child sat at a restaurant table and was treated like she never stopped being important.

Sometimes all you need in life is

the restaurant owner who’s known you since you were a child.

Who closed his place during your childhood and reopened it years later.

Who sees you walk in and immediately says,

"Bunny, how are you?"

Who slips you little plates of food under his hand so you can taste everything.

Who smiles and says,

"Of course I treat you like a princess — you always were one to me."

And when you leave, he says,

"Come by more often, princess. Take care."

My inner child felt so seen that night.

Today my mind felt like an overflowing bookshelf. Not because it's broken, but because it's full of stories I just outgrew. So maybe I need to sort some of those out to make room for new ones.

Guess who decided to start her Instagram again in 2026

A while ago I actually had a blog before, just a cozy little one where I would talk about books. I enjoyed it very much and even got one or the other blogger box, which was pretty fun for my 14 year old self haha.

Then school and mental health got in the way and I closed my account until last year I decided to start a completely new one- jokes on me mental health got in the way AGAIN

But now I feel like 2026 could be a good time to start a third attempt haha.

Cats 2.0

A few days ago a stray cat approached me with a friendly "meow", so naturally I answered and had like a 5 minute conversation with that little cutie.

Could've been a wholesome moment if it weren't for the guy nearby who gave me the nastiest side-eye.

I think some people forget to find joy in their life \(•_•)/

Anyways

Find joy in yours because sometimes in life- there is a cat <3

Make it make sense

Me preparing for my birthday party:

It's so funny being a type b girly, who lives in gentle chaos until people are coming over.

Like I am a girl with the soul of a burnt out perfectionist, cleaning like I'm about to host the MET-Gala, suddenly scrubbing corners I didn't knew existed. But also taking 4 anxiety naps in between tasks.

And all of that between Christmas and new year's eve like come on I'm just a girl... Please

Me: 4 days behind my own advent calender.

Also me: opening my cats' advent calendar like it's a sacred ritual.

So I may be a depressed type b girly who forgets her own advent calendar..

But my cats will NEVER miss a single treat. They are the only thing I'm consistent about.

Type b depression? Yes. Cat mom devotion? Also yes!

I am their servant haha

At university pretending I'm in my mysterious, quiet girl era... then remembering I overshare like it's a full-time job, and accidentally overshare my entire life story to a stranger in the hallway.

So apparently I am just an open book instead of a "mysterious legend" but hey I'm trying my best lol.

Things only type B girlies will understand:

-Setting 17 alarms and still waking up to the last one

-Doing everything 10min before leaving the house

-2 outfits on the chair, 4 in the laundry and 10 on the floor

-Needing a 'little sit' after doing the bare minimum

-Deciding which chore to do based on ~vibes~ not urgency

Things that would send type A girlies into a coma:

-My notes app (there is no system it's feral)

-Leaving the house with 11% battery and blind optimism

-Starting a new book while reading four others

-forgetting lunch but never forgetting to romanticize my hot chocolate in the morning

-Scheduling my life according to "I'll see how I feel"

-The inside of my tote bag (lip balm, receipts, chaos and a pen with no ink)

So basically my entire lifestyle tbh

Today I tried out something new.

I went to the "German Film & Comic Con" with @blueberrypancakesworld & @dumbledamn205

As a girl with high anxiety I must admit that it was actually really great. I was just so overwhelmed in a positive way, to see all those creative cosplayers at the Con and don't get me started on the creator Hall. It was sooo cute and everyone was so friendly 🤍

The only thing I noticed, is that my social battery was pretty low after we left. But that's okay because I learned to listen to my body. So I spent the rest of the day pretty chill.

I am definitely going again next year. And I am proud that I tried this out, and so glad that it turned out so good.
