ILIYA MAJARIS
“Nope. No one.” Iliya shrugged, but that had always been the case. She couldn’t risk caring about someone with her old pack and old enemies needing leverage against her. So long as she was alone, she was safe and they had nothing on her. There was no forcing her hand this way and she was grateful for that.
But that wasn’t something she could explain.
“Small pool, ya know? Might…” She trailed off as she noticed the change in Marisol’s scent, the way she paused in her step. Her eyes narrowed and she looked around casually for what might have spooked the other. She continued to walk alongside the human but then they stopped. “…What is it?”
“ Nothing, just -- I’m not hungry anymore, that’s all. ” Her voice wavered and tears picked at her eyes - the reflection of how afraid it made her to be this near whatever that thing was. But she couldn’t help it, at this point it was just involuntary. Though if she wanted to be able to have a nice evening out with her late friend, she would need to suck it up and really pretend nothing was around. That or either tell her, but it had been her stories and erratic behavior that had drove Iliya away in the first place. “ Though if you still hungry we could go, I don’t mind. I just lost my appetite. ”
