and with the scene still going, you kick each other like little children behind the camera, trying your best not to make any noises as he starts calling you names you can't comprehend. at one point, he's kicked you too hard that you fall back and left the boat.
you fall into the make-shift lake, back hitting the pool first and the water coming up your nose. you can see from below that joseph's immediately gone to the edge of the boat, and muffled shouting occurring from above.
you're pulled out in less than ten seconds, your costume now wet and heavy; hair ruined and removing the amount of hairspray that had been applied. you look at him to see that he's trying not to laugh after ruining a scene and possibly your costume.
he's got a nervous laugh, mentally preparing for his demise as he pulls you up and brings you out the pool, your body scraping on the wooden boat.
"dude," you smack his hand away, trying to get back on the boat. "you're so lucky our scene is finished."
"i'm sorry," he laughs, leaning over to take a towel from the person behind and wrapping it over your shoulders. "you can drown me later."
