Decent 03 artist feature: Pounces (@rameaubot_) Pounces and the @hauscatz crew are pioneers in the underground sounds and all of their artists round one another out with excellent cross-over. We are stoked to have Pounces with us for D03 taking us into the closing hours of the morning and keeping our bodies moving. Rameau Velez, aka Pounces, was born and raised in the Caribbean, and always brings a globally-influenced style to his DJ sets. Named after a classical composer and born into a family of musicians, Pounces has a wide-ranging musical palette that spans across genres and cultures. As a member of the Denver group Haus Catz, Pounces has shared the stage with electronic mainstays Leon Vynehall, Romare, DJ Hyperactive, and more. Expect hard-hitting, soulful, house, club and breaks with lots of percussion and bass when he takes the stage. If he isn't in his home studio or at the function, Velez can be found gardening, playing with his cats or hanging with his wife Jess. He can also be heard on the FM dial in Denver - every Tuesday night for the Jazz Odyssey on KUVO. He is joined by @kvnkrkInd and @dj.silkworm for an all night extravaganza!
