The Japanese village of Shirakawa, known for its historic thatched-roof houses, has implemented an automatic sprinkler system to protect these structures from fire. This system is cleverly concealed within huts that blend seamlessly with the traditional architecture. In the event of a fire, the sprinklers activate to douse the area with water, mitigating potential damage.
