I'll post any fanfiction as long as it features at least one Gravity Falls character, so please mind the tags, warnings, and ratings of any fic you see here. One work at a time please, don't submit an entire series as one submission. (Though you could submit a whole series as long as you do it one-by-one...)

Despite AO3's logo being in the icon, I'll accept submissions from any site as long as I'm able to see the fic.

If your fic was posted and you'd like it taken down, just send an ask or message and I'll do so, no questions asked.

If you see a fic posted that doesn't tag the author's tumblr account, let me know their account and I'll update it. If you see a fic posted with inaccurate tags (it's a different time period, so and so isn't a main character, etc.) let me know and I'll update it. Most of the fics I post here are not fics I've read, so if details weren't provided in the form, I'm just making an educated guess.

I post twice a day.

Summary:

“The author of the journals,” Stan said, finally standing up. "My brother."

The author of the journals, his brother, looked at the miniscule crowd that had arrived by accident to greet him. The author looked between them all, and Dipper could see reflection on his face from the light of the slowly dimming portal. The author’s gaze finally settled on Stan, and his posture stiffened.

“Dad?” The author of the journals, his brother, choked out. He sounded absolutely baffled.

Stan’s expression turned equally baffled, clearly not anticipating this. “What?”

The portal has opened, and spat out Stanford Filbrick Pines, exactly as he was when he left. Thirty years has passed for the outside world, but only a few hours have been lost for him.

It changes things. Especially with the worst memories of Ford's life still hot on his tail, and eager to make a reappearance.

Years ago, Stan Pines died under strange circumstances. His body was found, funerals happened, Pa was too ashamed to show up, Shermie too busy, Ma went... so did Ford...

And Ford learned a lot while at the funerals, more than he would have liked to. Like the fact his brother lived out of his car, of all places... At least, the car gave him a way to summon his brother's spirit, to talk one last time! Or it should have. It never worked... Ford kept the car anyways, for old times' sake.

In other news, a little over 30 years later, 13 year old Mabel Pines came back to Gravity Falls a year after her brother stayed back there for an "apprenticeship" with their great uncle Ford or whatever... Meaning she was alone to face their parents' divorce. And even now, her brother ignored her for his "anomalies". No big deal. None at all... Not at all the reason why she tried to leave the home at 1 am, only to be met with a homeless-looking ghost with no memories who decided to haunt her.

At least the nameless ghost is a good friend to prank Gravity Falls with!

This is a heart wrenching fic. Stan died and became a ghost while visiting Ford, and forgot who he was. Mabel has been neglected as Ford takes Dipper on as his apprentice, though Dipper wants to reconnect. Mabel wants to find out the mystery about the ghost who looks familiar but she can't place why. It's unfinished, but still worth the read.

The submitted fic for this post is Dipper Goes To Taco Bell. This is an extremely infamous shock fic published on Fanfiction.net on August 17th, 2012. It was subsequently removed less than a week later for violating the site's terms of service. It was reuploaded, then removed again, and the author's account was deleted by the site as well. It is written with the intention of grossing out and disturbing the reader. I'm going to include the summary on the AO3 reupload that details exactly what happens inside of the fic. Because of the nature of the content, I'm going to place that summary and the link to the fic under a read more at the bottom of the post.

The fanfiction went viral almost immediately after its initial posting. People began calling reading the fic "taking the Taco Bell challenge". It got popular enough that some of the crew read it (that post is made by an animation editor on the series, and shows some of the staff reading the fic a few days after it was posted). This may be the incident that a director of the series mentioned in this comment a bit under a month later when he talked about reading it. In August of 2013, there was a Gravity Falls Flash game published on Disney's website, called PinesQuest: The Final Quest of Legend XII. In this game, you can eat tacos as a health item, and part of the taco's description is "Don't ask what it's made of", likely a reference to the ending of the fic.

You can see its infamy by looking at the tumblr tag for it that year.

The fic author's explanation for the fic is here, and their alternative Fanfiction.net account still remains as well, though it hasn't been active since October 2012.

This poll is going to have unique options since this is probably the most well known Gravity Falls fanfiction to anyone outside of the fandom.

Summary:

I'm going to be as blunt as possible. What you see is what you get. Dipper finds a suspicious Taco Bell in the forest and orders a taco, but before he can finish it, he gets diarrhea and goes to the bathroom. However, he gets aroused by his various bodily fluids and begins masturbating. In the process, he accidentally bites off his own penis and dies. Mabel finds his corpse in the bathroom and violates it, but a Taco Bell employee dismembers her alive before killing her with a stab to the heart and using the knife to do some generally awful things to her. The story ends with Soos coming to buy a taco, and the implication is that the tacos are made of human meat. There. You've been warned.

A really interesting fic that depicts a 'what if' scenario where the Stan twin reunite earlier. Personally, I think it's an interesting exploration of both the sibling's dynamic as well as their respective friendship with Fiddleford. While the humour is already brilliant, it's the slower and more emotional scenes that were my personal favourite. Overall, It's just a really cool work of fiction that I will always recommend when one's looking for an interesting "Ford at Uni"-Era fic.
