This has to be one of the best fics I have had the pleasure to read. There are so many intricately woven storylines, with a whole array of original characters (including my oc - borrowed and given a whole new life) as well as many of our favourite Stardew NPCs. I look forward to every chapter update and can't wait to see where the story takes us. There's dark humour, delicious angst, hurt/comfort, several romances, murder, mystery and magic, as well as a richly crafted backstory. I adore it so very much.

sam x sebastian; other background ships. I keep coming back to this one because sebastian's thoughts are written very well, and the way that sam and sebastian get together is super cute. there's a lot of music/songwriting in the beginning and end, some drunk shenanigans (mostly just almost-confessions), a solarian scene I rly liked, and it's just very cute all around. I love that it continued part them just getting together (they got together in part 5 out 7) and there were good resolutions to pretty much everyone's arcs.

One of my ALL TIME favourite Sam/Seb fics! Seb is a moody painting major whose only interest, besides art and hanging out with his favorite lesbian Leah, is finding new and interesting ways to escape sobriety. When he's not ripping his peers apart in art critiques or using illicit drugs in the back rooms of college parties, he usually finds himself facing down an ugly and boring reality, where he struggles to find the version of himself that's left over after the veneer of "artist" is stripped away. Sam is a cheerful photography major whose chatty demeanor has earned him many friends, through the years, and even more people who try to take advantage of his kindness. He's struggled hard to carve a space for himself at a prestigious art college, and oftentimes, despite his popularity, feels like an outsider- someone who conned their way into a life that they're not entitled to. Imposter syndrome and never feeling quite good enough has been hard on Sam, and he feels like his bubbly mask of optimism is starting to slip. ...And they were roommates!
