“ jesus- shhh ! ” danny met billy with a disapproving look , tugging at his hair again to make a point . tongue sliding over his lips before tilting his head back to rest against the wall again . ignores the way billy’s mouth set him on fire whenever it was on him - he’s sure billy knew . figured that’s why billy always looked so cocky whenever he got the chance . he rolled his head to the side to catch another look of the other , tightening the grip he had on the other’s hair to pull him up . “ shut up . c’mere ... ”

Let out a huff and moved himself away from the other. He hated it, that whole being afraid bullshit. Why should he be afraid, of what? A bunch of assholes at school? What are they realistically gonna do? A lot, maybe... He could defend himself. Or try. And, he had friends who would help. He’d hope some people would help if need be.

Eyes stayed averted, refusing to meet the gaze of the other. Hands shoved in jean pockets and body hunched. He didn’t want to talk about it. Not now. He just offered a shrug of his shoulders in response to their words, sat himself down on the pavement and ran a hand over his face. Shit like this happened. That’s just how it was. How it worked. He stood up for himself at least, it could be worse.
