I need a scene where Mike and Will lose communication during a dangerous situation, and Mike is left there to panic if Will is okay, if he's alive, or Mike has lost him again, maybe forever before they could fix their precarious relationship.

So, when Mike does finally see Will again, hours later, his world view centers. Mike isn't thinking about anything other than Will, how he's right here, alive, as he runs towards him. Without warning Mike pulls Will into a tight hug, which surprises Will for a multitude of reasons, yet he still reciprocates almost immediately. They hold each other for a while teary eyed. Mike is so overwhelmed with emotions he can't keep all the tears, making his breath heavy and a little uneven.

And afterwards , as they slowly pull away, Mike feels terrified to let go of Will again.

what if they have a first rain kiss during a fight where Mike kisses Will and he's too shocked to react so Mike thinks he was mistaken and misunderstood everything and he runs away because he's too ashamed and Will stays back in the rain and we see his silhouette while he brings one hand to his lips still in shock and then Mike gets taken by Vecna immediately after before they can resolve and then we actually get two kisses after Will confesses his love for Mike during a vision and saves him and they are back together and they kiss again and this time it's slow and full of love and they smile after they kiss

One of my favourite head cannons of the party is how selfless will would be and the party just doesn’t accept it like imagine

The whole party is arguing on who has to sit on the floor bc there isn’t enough room on the couch for all of them and Dustin Lucas and Mike are all arguing saying the reasons why they deserve it when will says “I’ll sit on the floor it’s okay guys” to try and make everyone happy but the party all just says no in sync to him bc will is the only one who truly deserves the couch.

Will may be a fictional character, but I care about him as if he were my little brother. He’s so good and kind, but everything he’s been through and his emotional struggles have made his life really tough. He deserves to be happy. ❤️

If I could say one thing to Will before his character arc in S5, it would be to be kinder to himself, to prioritize his own needs before anyone else’s, and not to be afraid of taking up space. He’s too kind-hearted and selfless for his own good, and I want him to learn to love himself more.

who else remembers the atmosphere on july 1st, 2022, when vol.2 dropped? we were in shambles, mourning the loss. we were making sad posts about will’s heart breaking and how the duffers were using a gay boy’s suffering to prop up a straight couple.

by july 2nd, we were back on our bullshit, hosting twitter spaces discussing how the monologue was the nail in the coffin of mileven’s relationship and how the finale was setting up the painting plot for s5 to be even more dramatic. it was all “this is how we can still win” 😭

i swear, even if they’re not endgame, there will 10000% be some of yall explaining how they can get together post-canon. mike could die and i’d see posts about getting will on a ouija board for date night. it’s is a beautiful thing about this fandom.

there’s a million reasons why byler not happening makes no sense for both will AND mike’s character arcs but what is stuck in my head is it also makes the entire van scene they spent a whole day or so filming to get it just right and the big focus on the painting since episode one when it was introduced, to the lie surrounding it that they are waiting to resolve in the final season ……. all so utterly pointless?? so what, you do all that to what? resolve it the next season by Mike gently turning Will down cause no homo? Or Will going ya know what nvm Mike I like someone else now byeeeeee???? lmao that’s…… no. That’s “this is my first fanfic” levels of writing lol. I understand the doubt but like there’s a laundry list of reasons why byler is the only conclusion that makes narrative sense in any way.
