I think Felix not telling Adrien is odd, he'd want him to know the truth because not only would that be the sort of revelation that would free Adrien from his father's influence in a way, but not telling him goes against his beliefs from what we're shown

There would have to be some incentive to not reveal the truth to Adrien, something that would lead to an eventual confrontation between the two
