lizzy-pierce:
I’ve been annoying my nephew for three days, so I don’t know about the rest. Guess I’ll have to do.
What a shame having to deal with you
Has anyone seen the important people in my life.
lizzy-pierce:
“Why do I get the feeling this is all you’ve done for sixteen years?”
“Probably because you know me better than literally anyone, Liz.”
Hayden enjoyed being surrounded by books again and throwing himself into his studies even in the middle of the summer.
momma-caroline-forbes:
“No, I had to learn it. I, uh, I wasn’t always a great person. Before I became a vampire, I was…actually pretty terrible.”
“But what matters is who you are now and who you’ve been for us kids.”
momma-caroline-forbes:
“No, I had to learn it. I, uh, I wasn’t always a great person. Before I became a vampire, I was…actually pretty terrible.”
“What matters is the amazing aunt you became though.”
momma-caroline-forbes:
“Of course I do, but I learned that lesson a long time ago.”
“I don’t believe it was a lesson that you had to learn, I think it’s something that people are born knowing that one.”
momma-caroline-forbes:
“I know what you mean. From the mom perspective and not the kids, but still. I’m happy that you have each other again.”
“Yeah I guess you of all people would understand that DNA isn’t important.”
momma-caroline-forbes:
“Honestly, most of the time I forget that technically speaking there’s no biology connecting you to her. Not that it really matters whether there’s any or not, she loves you just the same.”
“I don’t think DNA would change a single thing for either of us. She’s still just as much my mom as she would be either way, if not more so since she choose to be.”
momma-caroline-forbes:
“No, you remind me more of Tatia than anything. And I know how much she loves you, so take that as a compliment.”
“No trust me that’s the biggest compliment you can give me. I always wanted to be like her.”
momma-caroline-forbes:“I don’t know, not everyone ends up that way. I think we got lucky.”
“Yeah I’m sure my dad would say I didn’t end up like him at least.”
momma-caroline-forbes:
“They’re something special. Cass took a lot after me, and Ryan is…well, he’s his father’s son, but more neurotic.”
“Yeah I’m not at all surprised that’s how they turned out but I think that’s just because of how it’s suppose to be.”
momma-caroline-forbes:
“I’d love to say if we’re lucky, you might see Ryan, but he’s…well, like me when I was in high school, I doubt he’ll be home anytime soon.” Caroline let out a small laugh, “that sounds perfect. And much needed.”
“Well then I’ll hope miss Cassie shows up then,” Hayden admitted happily leaning on the counter, “But it sounds like they’re great kids.”
momma-caroline-forbes:
“That might take awhile, but I do have plenty of pictures of them both if you want to see them.” Caroline offered, smiling at her nephew. “And we can figure out how to feed you and I can hear about your life.”
“I’d love to see some pictures of the twins, we can start with that,” Hayden offered smiling, “But we will just have an entire day to catch up then.”
kerryxyoung:
I don’t think it was bad although it was very…enlightening. This town has just been one big lie.
I think once you realize that you can see the truth all around you.
momma-caroline-forbes:
“I’m sure I could arrange that.” Caroline agreed, letting out a laugh. “Most of my stories involve raising twins, and while I could certainly embarrass them both, I want to hear what you’ve been up to, too.”
“I mean how about we start with those embarrassing twin stories and we can move on to the stories about little old me,” Hayden offered raising his eyebrows.
