Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel!

Welcome to the official website for the Hazbin Hotel, designed for you to keep up with the residents, as well as their newest sponsors - the Vees A/V Club! They're here to answer all of your questions, and might occasionally reblog things they like. Vox runs the website and handles most things around here, but the others are here too. Also me - hi, you can call me Mel (she/her), liaison between the hotel and the A/V Club. But I'll mostly let the others do the talking.

So, send in an ask! You can request to talk to someone specific, or someone (or multiple people) will reply at random. As I said, you can expect to see Vox the most, but Lucifer, Alastor, Angel Dust, and Husk are all decently active here. The others might pop in on occasion.

THINGS TO KNOW

This blog is set not long after Season 1 of Hazbin Hotel. (It is canon-divergent in that I have established my own lore to supplement the Hellaverse material available as of June 2024 - anything established or that occurs in canon after that date is not canon to the blog, unless I choose to make it so.)

All asks exist within the same continuity, and there is over-arching plot with the main focus on Vox, Lucifer, and Alastor; a secondary focus Angel and Husk; and everyone else being a minor character. (If you go back to super early posts, they might not all fit together 100% cleanly outside of the tagged story arcs, because when I started this, I didn't plan for plot/continuity, but that didn't last long.)

Here you can find the rules for how the universe of this blog works. (You'll see here that you can do things such as lock characters in a room together, but I request that you do this to no more than four characters at a time, with at least half being major characters.)

NSFW themes are allowed, but I'm unlikely to get graphic with anything. 

Due to the nature of this, this is an 18+ blog - MINORS DNI. (This is for everyone’s protection - these characters will say inappropriate things when responding to asks, so I can’t risk a minor being on the receiving end of such things. If I find out a minor is sending in asks, you will be blocked.)

OCs are welcome to send in messages, but please no children and no one who's related to/has history with one of the characters.

Canon characters sending in asks will be treated as though they're from a different universe. (This is because I have my own lore for many of the characters that other portrayals will unlikely match 100%.)

Please don't try to dictate what anyone on this blog does. (This includes assuming the characters' actions, claiming you saw them do something, etc., and also applies to miscellaneous creatures such as pets and Alastor's shadow.)

RP is done through asks, not reblogs.

If you send a link, please include a brief description of what the link is to. (It can be as simple as 'an edit of Lucifer and Charlie'.) Also, NO LEAKS.

The majority of these characters aren't good people, so don't expect them to always be nice. (Similarly, just because a character says something doesn't mean I, the moderator, agree with it.)

I will answer most things via queue, which posts 5-10 times a day. (There will also be exceptions, such as if the asks are connected to a current situation that’s happening, a limited time event/game, or you know, if I feel like it.)

Be kind and respectful! (Giving the characters a hard time is fine, but spreading hate to anyone who interacts with the blog is a blockable offense.)

Chapter 4: Moving On of my CherriBang 2026 fic is up!

“What would you know?” he muttered somewhat bitterly. “Well… it’s kind of my job.” She pointed to her nametag, which read Charlie, and underneath that, Head Counselor. Then she scooted her chair around to face Vox more fully. “Okay. Maybe you need to experience what we do here first-hand. What exactly happened between you and Alastor?”  Vox deadpanned. “Yeah, we’re not doing this.” “You need to prove that you’re giving the hotel a chance, even if you can’t promote it. And maybe this will make it so that you can!”  “Doubt it. And Alastor’s dating your dad. Isn’t this – what, a conflict of interests?” Charlie held up her hand solemnly. “I promise to remain fully objective and not to share anything you say here with anyone outside this room.” He grimaced, glowering at her. “Do I have a choice?”  “Not if you want me to make that statement to Hell!” she answered brightly.  Damn. The bitch was more manipulative than he had given her credit for. Maybe Alastor had started rubbing off on her.

Hey Boss, did you know that Cookie Cutter sharks hunt in packs (schools? Groups? I don't actually know the correct term for them), leaving the round "cookie cutter" bites in their prey? They may be small sharks, but they are mighty! That's why they're my favorite kind.

Did you know that if you tilt Vox's hat to the side a bit, it looks like a shark fin? Or that Alastor's microphone looks like a tail?

OK, then let me explain it. Look at this picture:

Looks child friendly right? The cute woodland creatures on that rollercoaster. Yeah, but this is not kid friendly.

These characters have a tendency to die a lot. In some of the most gruesome ways you can think of. However, it’s a dark comedy series that with its gore is meant to make you laugh, after you cringe. The franchise has a lot of episodes and most of the characters you see here are present in a variety of them. If you’d like me too, I can go more in depth with certain characters if you would like me too.

Chapter 3: Making Up of my CherriBang 2026 fic is up!

“Trouble in paradise already?” Vox cooed, a definite note of amusement in his voice.  Immediately, Alastor straightened up, his expression clearing into his usual obnoxious smile. “Nonsense! I think a little adversity just makes things more fun! Don’t you?”  The television demon regarded him with a blank expression. “Not really.”  “Well, it works for us,” Lucifer sighed, straightening out his coat as he forced himself to let the argument go. Stupid inability to harm Sinners – oh, how he’d love to teach Alastor a lesson. Instead, he settled for reaching around to grab a handful of the deer’s ass. Hey, it was good for appearances! And he knew it would piss him off. Alastor’s ears flicked in irritation, his eyes burning with indignation for just a second before they cleared. But then he chuckled and grabbed Lucifer’s hand, bringing it to his lips for a kiss. “Indeed,” he murmured against his skin.  Vox turned away from them, looking out over the lobby with a carefully controlled expression. Interesting. He was clearly feeling some kind of way about their relationship if he couldn’t even stand to look at them flirting. That was good to know. They should probably try to be a little handsy with each other as they gave the tour, then. Maybe they’d actually get somewhere. Eyes on the television demon, Lucifer was completely caught off guard when teeth suddenly closed down around his finger. He let out a startled yelp, causing Vox to turn back to them with raised eyebrows as the fallen angel swiftly yanked his hand back from Alastor’s smirking mouth. “Okay, Bambi, maybe save the biting for the bedroom, yeah?” he suggested as he wiped his finger off. “You started it,” Alastor hummed, his eyes glittering maliciously.  Lucifer rolled his eyes, and as he did, he noticed an odd, cyan glow in the center of the television demon’s screen before a small shake of his head cleared it. Huh. That was kind of cute.

Well, I'm glad everything is okay and Lucifer and Vox are healing. This community handled it better than the last times. Maybe due to my utter lack of involvement due to me being immersed by a game I was playing while this was going on. Anyway, Vox isn't Lilith, Lucifer and I hope after tonight and this week you can see how different he is from her.

"I know he isn't Lilith. You know, logically. It just... got hard to tell them apart."
