I'm so tired of the "Oh, they made Fizz soft" argument. "They changed him", "They UwUified him, twinkified him", etc.
Will people realize there's a public persona vs a private persona? That there's gonna be a difference between the way he acts while performing (cause he's a performer) in the horniest club of Lust vs when he's comfy at home with his long term partner?
Not to mention, he can very much still be sassy, bratty, etc. but it's more directed at people he doesn't like/has been slighted by (Blitz at the time, Mammon) and if not, then in jest. Why can't he be both a loving, compassionate little guy and sassy hot stuff at the same time?
Y'all don't have one (1) personality trait and that's where your personality ends. I don't see why a character being multidimensional is a problem. Also, I know for a fact y'all, too, have different personas for different contexts - don't lie to me.
Sigh... Whatever. It's just a strange argument. Just say you don't like the character and be done with; we barely got any content with him to say they changed him. They didn't change him. If anything, he was the sassy brat only in Ozzie's (but even there he was lovey with Ozzie, y'all did not watch it), so actually... the sweet boy traits are predominant.
