new update to orion's quest in the advent calendar! it seems like whoever's been speaking to him through the lyre is trying to get him to bring people together (similar to reunion from final fantasy 7). makes sense why his visions are strongest during site events, "those who have been scattered find a way to come together".

these are the prizes received today from the advent calendar! between the music cylinders being used to unlock the now-glowing tablet and the "powerful music box", it seems like there's more at play here than initially meets the eye.

i'm interested in what this mysterious entity and the themes of music and elemental powers that come with them will bring. why were they shattered? are they connected to the void within's story? what's their motive for being brought back together, and why is orion specifically a vessel for this?

it's been a year since we were first introduced to these prophecies, and while we've been given a lot of answers there's still so many questions left unsolved....

after checking jellyneo (thanks to the team there for documenting this) i've learned that the comic is slightly different for everyone. there's four versions of the tablet in the final panel, which when put together make this image:

it seems to depict tyrannia (the dinosaurs and volcanoes) and a draik playing a magical lyre. there's still two more plot days (the 29th and the 31st) so we're likely to get more context then.
