Feel it like a hurricane~ Crazel
It wasn’t suppose to be this way, of that he was sure. Chris remembered the stories his mother and father would tell him about how vampires, werewolves and hunters didn’t mix. How it was better to say in your own species — less mess, his mother would say. And now, with Hazel he could feel why that was true. Why all the warnings Klaus have gave him about not falling in love with anything was wasn’t his kind was wrong — and that he could give Klaus credit for. Klaus was a utter jackass most of the time — a monster with no heart but he gave good advice. All Christian wanted to do right now was coddle the blonde. Keep her safe and hidden away from anyone.
Chris looked around, cafe’s still made him nervous like he was going to lash out at any moment but Hazel needed him of that mu’ch he was sure. “Um,” he started, sliding into the spot next to cautiously. “What’s wrong?” He tried to ignore the churn in his stomach when he asked that. Usually when something was wrong that meant danger. How could it be that what he would normally call flea bag made him want to go all protective boyfriend? He wasn’t even a boyfriend. No where close.
As he slid in beside her Hazel tried not to back off too much and pulled her knees up onto the bench, her arms sliding around her knees. It was such a childish gesture, so innocent in a way, but the end effect was that it gave her comfort, and that was all she needed at the moment. Something to give her comfort. Her chin was sit on the palm of her hand, and it was quiet for several minutes before she started to talk. "I.. miss someone." Her voice trembled. No doubt he could hear it. "Someone I loved, and it just hurts." The more she spoke, the easier it was to do so. To just pretend Chris wasn't there, and let her walls down. "Everyone just leaves you know? My dad left me when I was 2 years old, abandoned me. I always felt like he hated me because my mom died because of me." Hazel tried not to flashback to all the memories she'd tried so hard to block out. But it was hard not to. "My best friend.. practically my sister. Who raised me.. kicked me out.." Her eyes clenched shut, bottom lip wobbling. "And took him away from me. Everyone, everyone who should have been there left in some way or another. They all just left." Suddenly it was like she remembered he was there and looked up at him, her slightely slanted brown eyes filled with emotion. "I hate it. I hate people, and I hate that I'm alone and still hurting. Every single day. I just.." Her voice trailed off. She couldn't find any words anymore.
