Several sightings were reported around here, which was rather odd when he had no interest in returning here again. Everywhere around the city was rampant of test subjects with the virus while he observed every change. The most boring of tasks to witness these inferior creations was a waste of his talents, making every search a brief mission. Albert had to keep these appearances of playing the ‘good guy’ while regular civilians can be taken in to building facilities like these for future experimentations. It was all for the good of the future, a repeated line that played back on the male’s head. Sunglasses were tucked up after looking through the area with weapon at hand in case unwanted test subjects burst out. The scattered research material left behind was a careless move, thus making those scientists absolutely worthless. A scoff escaped his lips as he pressed forward. Footsteps were deliberately slow in their pace, stomping onto the worn out floor that contained dead corpses and blood. Some files were also resting against the floor though it looked as if someone was here.
Ears could sense the scattering of an able bodied individual moving which made Albert quite interested. It appeared as if a survivor was among the midst, perhaps someone to direct towards the new research building for some fun experiments. Either that or it could be the failed test subjects wanting to give the male a warm up. He entered the room where this unknown presence was hiding, finding it absolutely cute they could think they can hide. Then it certainly was a living person…how perfect. A smile spread across his face, being somewhat glad that he heeded Redfield's request of checking this building again. All the male had to do was play host until directing him to another building when the others weren’t looking. Gloved hand pushed his sunglasses upward once again, finally calling out directly. “I know you’re around here. Feel free to come out with your arms up. You needn’t worry…I don’t plan on shooting, unless you pose a threat to me.” Yet he could tell they weren’t but it was nice to rehearse this line once again.
Harumasa kept his guard up as he was exploring the area, he perked up to various sounds as he readied his dual bladed bow.
He breathes slowly in order to keep his condition from acting up as his eyes sharply dart around, he hears someone speaking out as before his eyes fell on a man with what looked to be shades on.
He knew he was being told to reveal himself as he shall comply, however, he made sure that he can quickly draw his weapon in case things go awry. He raises both hands before he would reply, golden irises locked on this man’s every move.
“I will show myself but you better hold your end and lower your weapon Sir, if not, I won’t hesitate to draw my own as it’s only fair you know.”
He replied, standing his ground as he took note of their weapons and such. There was no way he was in his own world anymore by the looks of things, great, why do these things always happen to him? Wasn’t life already cruel enough with his chronic condition?
The weak individual faintly looks around aa he could feel the other reaching their hand into the pocket where the bottle of medicine was resting, he nods to the other's question about it as he then moves quivering lips to speak.
"Y-yes...I need those to help keep both my chronic condition and corruption in check as you see, if I don't continue to take that medicine...I might turn into a monster. W-where I come from, we deal with monsters known as Ethereals.
There is a syndrome that some people can sadly get, it's known as "Ether Aptitude Regression Syndrome" which affects various parts of one's body.
For me...*cough cough* it's my heart and lungs, there isn't a cure once one is affected. We can only take medication to stun it's progression, that's why I'm apologizing for now being a burden to you S-Sir, I wouldn't want to let you deal with such a sorry soul like myself..."
He slowly replies as he tries to offer a weak smile to the half dog demon as he appreciated them striking down that beast before it could do any heavy damage, however, now he felt like he was just acting like extra baggage for this being.
A tear escaped from his left golden eye while the right eye remained the neon blue, he looks at the other to see their reaction to hearing this information.
"Do ya not have anything better ta do than feel sorry for yerself? Stop talkin' so much nonsense, geez."
Kind of irritating, hearing someone talk like that. Giving up without even fighting. That's how it came off. Apologizing for being a burden, simply because the man couldn't defend himself. Inuyasha had always been one to both choose his words, while simultaneously saying exactly what he wanted to say. It was a balance that he'd learned over time. Words have consequences, he's figured that much out. The few times his words had made Kagome cry, he'd learned it a long time ago.
"What, ya ain't got no fight in ya? Some mortals die faster, some slower. Ain't nothin' you can do about it, so ya fight anyway, until yer body won't letcha anymore, and even then, ya keep fighting. 'M I supposed ta feel sorry for ya or somethin'? 'Cause ya ain't helpin' anyone with that defeatist attitude."
Maybe there was a harsher tone to his words, but how was anyone going to learn if they didn't fight for themselves? He'd seen humans that could show incredible feats of strength. With a sigh, the hanyou softened his tone just a little.
"'S a matter of knowin' when ta run, and when ta fight. But even when ya run, ya don't stop fightin'. Ya fight that much harder so ya live ta fight another day. Just let yer body rest, I'll sit with ya. You'll be safer with Kaede once yer strong enough ta stand up again."
Harumasa heard the words Inuyasha was speaking, those words, they were almost like his Master's who told him to always take his medication and live each day like it's your last.
They were right, he needs to get through this if he wishes to live to 100. He can't give up here as there were still so much to do and those he must protect!
He tries to get up to take his medication, getting out a bottle of fresh water from the pouch he carried on his belt.
His hands struggle but he grits his teeth through it as he pops the cap off the bottle before taking down a pill with the water, he then closes both the water bottle and pill bottle before setting them aside to lay back down.
"...*haah..* I thank you Sir as I needed that, you're right as I can't just give up like this despite that there's no cure for this condition.
Best I can do is fight and live, live to see another day and get back to protecting those I hold close. Even when the odds are stacked against you right? Gotta push on, move forward."
He spoke as he looked at Inuyasha, offering a appreciative smile.
Starter for @piinkponyclub for Fang
Curious golden irises scan around as he tries to grasp where he was, he couldn't pinpoint as everything looked green or something.
He made sure he had his medication and other things tucked safely in the bag he had attached to his belt as he ventures forth, he looked at the various flora and fauna as he made sure to stay alert as you never know who or what be here waiting for the moment to strike.
The sky looked clear and the air smelt clean, welcoming really but he must stay cautious just in case.
As Asaba moved through the woods, Fang trailed further behind, silently and concealed by the thick branches of the trees she hid in. In her arm she carried a rifle, waiting for just the right time to make her next move.
He ain't from around here...
Finally, as the other had briefly stopped to look at the fauna, that's when Fang fired the gun with a loud BANG! — though this would only be a warning shot, the bullet breezing past the top of his head and striking the nearest tree. Any lower, and that would have been it.
With that, the weasel cocked the rifle again, keeping it steadily aimed at him.
"You better just be passin' on through, boy—'cause the next time I shoot, it's gonna be straight through your brain."
Harumasa was about to turn around but stopped as he heard a loud bang with a bullet barely missing his head!
He was about to take out his dual bladed bow and arrows as he looked at the one who fired that near deadly shot, eyes narrowing as he then replies.
"I can assure you that I'm only passing by, it's always best to scout out your surroundings whenever you're in a new and unfamiliar area right? If you think that your next shot will reach me, you have another thing coming. So, you reside here?"
He spoke out, keeping his eyes locked on the other as he had a steady hand on his bow that had a arrow ready.
"Miss, I'm being as truthful as I possibly can. I'm not from a asylum believe me, my badge and such here is proof enough."
Harumasa spoke as he shook his head, why did he have to end up in a world where no one believed his words when they were all truthful?
He sighs before showing the badge to her, his photo and numbers showing as it revealed that he was a executive officer where he was from.
"See?"
"Get away from me!"
Cruella knows what the identification of the local constable looks like, god knows she's seen it enough, and it certainly isn't that.
"You act like you're not the one who walked through my door! I don't care what the hell you have!"
He sighs as this just felt like a losing battle trying to reason to show that he wasn't crazy, he shook his head one more time before putting the badge away.
"Listen miss, I didn't mean any harm to you nor others. I was only asking if you knew where I could go to find help to return to where I truly came from, if you want, I can leave so you can calm down. My apologies for the inconvenience."
He slowly replies, hoping she would understand.
"I was being honest miss, not just flattery as your craftsmanship is amazing for designing. Yes, I meant the city as I never heard of London. You might think I'm insane if I was to tell you this but..umm I'm actually from another world, I can assure you that this is no lie as lying is just rude."
Harumasa explained as he continued to keep his hands up, wondering when he could adjust them as they were starting to get tired staying up like this.
"As for why I ended up here, I have no idea as I was just suddenly dropped here and my curiosity proved too great to ignore which now ended me up in this current situation."
Oh good lord, one from the loony bin. She backs up slowly, moving more towards the middle of the hall and the telephone that sits on a wrought iron stand. Her hand is almost upon it, the other still fastened on the gun.
"I don't know what asylum you came from but you're going right back. You didn't need to tell me any of that, I could already sense that you're insane."
"See?"
(turning off anon to be safe of invasive questions)
"Did inuyasha hurt you?"
"...umm no, why do you suddenly ask this??"
@hcrumcsc
" Well, if it isn't the smart ass from last night. -------- Fancy meeting you out here on the streets tonight. "
"Ahhh! Hello, listen, someone said that I needed to scream as it relieves stress and believe me...I have stress, like reaaaaaaaally bad stress. No hard feelings....right?"
He replies as he raised his hands a little, trying not to anger the other even more as this was a bad first meeting.
"...ummm pardon my intrusion but may I ask what a Labubu is? Is it like a Bangboo? A sort of bunny esque mascot?"
@palidinus
Somehow, he can't shake the feeling that he might have a target now on his back...
"Let's not get out of control with the random yelling, please settle down."
*sweat drops*
"oh --- well that's kind of sad. It felt good to be able to scream."
"Oh? It does? I didn't realize, okay....here's goes."
*takes a deep breathe before letting it out!*
"TIME TO SCREAM? I'll SCREAM --- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
"Let's not get out of control with the random yelling, please settle down."
*sweat drops*
*inhales*
"WHY IS EVERYONE RANDOMLY SCREAMING??! DON'T YOU KNOW OTHERS MIGHT BE TRYING TO SLEEP OR RELAX?! SHEEEEEESH!!"

The other faintly felt his body being moved once the demon was taken care of, a groan escaped from his lips as he struggles to open his eyelids to look at who saved him.
He could feel his head having something damp being applied on his forehead as one of his eyes gathered enough strength to open, his vision was still blurry but he tries his best to speak, a raspy sound escaping as the bluish yellow marks he tried hard to keep from appearing has now developed on his right cheek and traveled up to his right eye changing to a neon blue with a yellow highlight as this was a side effect to his condition.
The marks becoming visible wasn't a good sign just in case someone notices them and questions and judging by another voice, the person who saved him might see them.
"...w-whuu...w-wh..ere...am...I? *cough cough* S-sorry....to...b-become...a..bu..rden.. to..y-you."
He manages to get out as his chest felt tight, his right hand trembling as he tries to get out the medication from his right side pocket in order to stop his condition from worsen more but it was in vain as he was too weak at this moment to fully move his limbs.
Great. He hated always feeling like this! He continued to lay there, harsh coughs still sounding out.
"What's wrong with you?"
It's not a cold. A cold made someone cough, but it didn't screw up the person's ability to speak like this. Not even a really sore throat did that, he'd know. Being half demon meant he could get sick. Uncommon as it was, he could get sick. Whatever was going on, it had something to do with that pocket of his. Modern clothes always looked small when it came to pockets. How anyone was supposed to keep anything important on them he didn't get.
Some stupid time difference.
Not that it stopped a clawed hand from reaching in anyway. No regard for personal space, Inuyasha wanted to know what this guy was trying to get. What was so important that he had to focus on it, rather than trying to recover his breathing. He isn't even sure what he's pulled out when he retrieves it. If this is medicine, it doesn't look anything like the medicine he knew.
"Is this what you were lookin' for? What's so important about this?"
Not that he held it away from the man. In fact, the medicine was loosely held right next to the other's hand. Consider his curiosity piqued. He's interested in knowing why whatever this is seems to be more important than being able to breathe properly, because this half demon doesn't understand whatever's going on. Just that he's not going anywhere until the man recovers.
Or dies, one of the two. That's not what he wanted, but what was he supposed to do? This wasn't an illness he recognized. Medicinal herbs weren't going to do anything here.
