4. What do you think about most?
Something I really don't like dwelling on but do anyway: my family. It's hard to go on about this so I'll just leave it at that.
32. What is your astrological sign?
I'm a pisces. From what I know, I'm most compatible with scorpios. (Although that wasn't exactly part of the question.)
43. What's a song that always makes you happy when you hear it?
Anything chill and sweet from Urban Zakapa. I specifically love Cafe Latte.
7, 8, 9
7. What is your religion?
I never really bothered to define what I believed in. Well.. I was never briefed or formally introduced to a certain religious tradition when I was younger. Most people from that side of the town where I used to live would usually just pray and ask for good weather from a certain power from beyond the clouds. I never really gave much thought about it. Although I knew that someone up there was watching and guiding me, I never really knew who it was or what to call it. Trusting that someone up there would be listening to me even if I can’t really see it, I just go on and pray for the things I consider important anyway.
8. If you are outside, what are you most likely doing?
I would probably be strolling around Hongdae looking for cute things to put in my hair or maybe sit around the park to watch owners with their pets and children walk by. I really like doing these usually under good weather and unfortunately, I would usually be by myself. My work schedule is pretty unpredictable resulting in spontaneous outings.
9. Simple but extremely complex. Favorite band?
Not being too fond of the typical bands, I unexpectedly found my love for the music of a certain trio: Urban Zakapa.

cafe latte -- gongyoo&choa
A soft chuckle escaped his lips, nodding to himself as he leaned back to fully enjoy the cup of delicious coffee in his hand. He glanced at her looking at the time, knowing he should also expect the place to fill up pretty soon too.
"I know that." He grins, standing from his seat to take another stretch. "At least, if anything ever happens, I’d probably be your first choice, yes?" He continued, giving her his impression of a cute pleading puppy once again.
Having had finished his cup, he moved to placed the empty cup onto the counter in front of her. “So… I’d be seeing you tomorrow again then?” He laughed, wiggling his eyebrows mischievously.
Choa nods feeling relieved that he actually gets it. Of course, she didn't expect him to stop trying, though. "Trust me," She turns back towards him, "I'll be risking everything to keep this place up." Another warm smile plays on her lips as she looks over his shoulder to see an empty street. Choa blinks rapidly, wondering why everyone seemed to be waking up late that day. Tomorrow? Choa laughs lightly. "Tomorrow, then. I wonder when you'll ever fall tired of my coffee." Shaking her head, she leans on the counter watching the way he wiggles his eyebrows. "Okay, that's just weird." Choa giggles and places a palm over her mouth. Sometimes how this guy lowers his pride so much to plead the way he does.
everything nice -- taekwoon&choa
It was always the hardest to go to work on the weekend. Actually, it wasn’t the work that he minded, but simply that he had to move from bed at all on a day where thousands were spending their time lazing around and rolling in bed. It didn’t help that it was getting colder outside, simply doubling the urge for him to remain bundled in cover the whole day long instead. All that convinced him to leave bed was the thought of the animals in the store and the new ones to arrive, ready to be fed and given attention until they find a home of their own. The responsibility weighs on him, even if it is a welcomed one, though it bizarrely feels as though he can hear the sound of whining puppies from miles away already.
Once actually in the store, any reluctance to be there is immediately relieved. For all of Taekwoon’s reluctance to make it out of bed, the morning shift is the nicest one to have, the customers mainly there for a reason rather than allowing him to feel like another animal to be gawked at. It was thanks to this he was able to work more freely, without being pinned to the desk, able to wander across the enclosures and ensure all the animals were comfortable in their temporary homes. Of course this also came with it’s drawbacks, as once he started to tend and handle them all Taekwoon tends to get too absorbed into it, often zoning out from his surroundings unless directly disturbed.
Now that there were several kittens in the store, they demanded the majority of his attention, often quieter than the other animals and needing to be watched as a precaution. Not to mention his natural affinity toward them. It’s while one particularly rambunctious kitten is sprawled beneath his hand that the female walks into the store, Taekwoon not realising the cheerful presence whilst paws bat and clutch at his fingers. Eyes are curved fondly whilst he croons at the sight, ignoring the light nips he gets in order to ruffle it’s fur. “Ah-.. Do you have something against me? Trying to take my hand off? Hm?” Though remaining soft-spoken, the tone of his voice is clearly affectionate, a far cry from how he normally talks to the customers who walk into the store given his reserved composure. He continues to mindlessly play with the feline until the sound of footsteps draw nearer, alerting Taekwoon to the other’s presence and startling him out of his daze. Puffy cheeks fill with colour, lips automatically pursing from their previous smile whilst blinking in alarm once realising he’d been caught. Gaze averting from her figure, all he can manage is to utter out a soft, “Good morning-..”
Choa had noticed that the keeper was a little busy talking and playing with the kitten that he had his full attention on. Seeing the other's immediate reaction surprised her a little. She seemed to have started him and debated within herself whether to apologize or not, but that would definitely come off as awkward. Biting down gently on her lower lip, she chuckled sheepishly before turning away from the raven haired male. Choa recalls the way his voice sounded while playing with the kitten in contrast with his greeting in reply. A small smile graced her lips briefly at the memory of it. It was rare that she meets men with voices as soft and gentle as his. Let alone guys who were sensitive and caring enough to own a business such as this. The responsibility of looking after animals doesn't come easy, and she definitely knew that. She was in all honestly surprised that the shop didn't smell too awful. Most pet stores would be wreaking with a certain odd smell. Choa hums a little, thinking that these little pets were so lucky to have such a well maintained environment. Taking a few steps around the room, Choa's eyes twinkled with amusement while setting her eyes from one cage to another. Having lived on the countryside really gets you attached to these guys. One particular kitten whose cage was situated in the corner of the room had caught her attention. Choa inched closer to it, crouching down to level with the small box that held the animal inside. She tried to refrain from squealing with delight when the kitten turned to stare at her with its big, round eyes. "Wow..." She whispered, examining the kitten's bluish-grey fur in awe. It's ears perked up when Choa spoke which earned a soft giggle from her. "Excuse me," Her excitement got the best of her, completely forgetting the embarrassing awkward situation earlier. Choa turned her head to the side and eyed the keeper from a distance, "Ah, this kitten is really adorable." She really couldn't contain these thoughts to herself. "Hm, I wonder what her breed is. Does she have a name?" Her head tilts to the side a little awaiting his response. The cage didn't seem to have an information tag unlike the rest.
[ / ; how many drinks? ] — pca + jjy
Birthday parties, unless they were your own, were so boring. As a child, you had to play it safe and not play your best at the arcade, so the brat with the paper crown on their head wouldn’t throw a fit. It wasn’t much better as an adult either. On your birthday, you were allowed to get as drunk as you wanted and act a fool, because no one would try to reprimand you for it. But if it were anyone else’s, you had to stay in the mostly sober lane, and be on your best behavior, which meant not picking up on anyone they had a thing for.
The entire situation was so dull, it made Jinyoung want to go home and nurse a bottle of whiskey by himself instead. At least it was only thirteen more days, until everyone was required to give him all their attention. This made him feel a smidgen bit better. Lost within his childish thoughts, the red-headed male could hardly take the time to notice anyone’s presence. Nothing was worth his time, it seemed, except the nearly empty cup in his hand. The buzz he felt in his head and stomach were lovely, but it wasn’t like him to settle for simply lovely. Yet, it would be rude to drink any more, he supposed. He didn’t want to stumble around in front of people he considered himself acquaintances with.
Then, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a girl. Not just any girl, but a beautiful, blond girl. Strangely, she was alone, and Jinyoung couldn’t help but to take his chances in approaching her, guy code be damned. “Hi, my name is Jinyoung. I couldn’t help but notice that there’s no drink in your hand, which is a shame, considering everyone here should be tripping over themselves to offer you one. Can I get you something?” he cooed, tilting his head to the side, finally feeling there was something at this party worth his time.
It wasn't like Choa to be running late. There were some important things that needed to be taken care of back at the cafe before she could enjoy herself at a good friend's birthday party. It wasn't often that she went out to anything like this due to her unpredictable shifts, so she was glad that she could catch up to this one. The venue was a fancy apartment a few streets away from where the cafe was located in and Choa did her best to dress for the occasion.
She let herself off the cab and quickly managed to find her way to the exact place where the party was going to be held. "I'm glad you made it!" and the like greeted her once she had gotten into the room. Choa found it heartwarming that people wanted to see her around. The fact that she was important made her smile and Choa was glad that she had come out tonight. After all, she did deserve a break. At parties like these, food was at the top of her list. There was a buffet table not too far from where she stood which caused her eyes to widen a bit. Choa was about to charge for it when an unfamiliar face approached her before she could even take a step. The smell of pasta and meat clouded her mind making it hard for her to concentrate on his introduction, but at least she had caught his name and the last few bits of it. "I um," She smiles at him sheepishly while tucking a hair behind her ear. "That would be nice of you but the thing is... I don't drink." Choa shrugs and chuckles lightly while anticipating his reaction.

caramel memories - open ;;
There isn’t much to do in the countryside. Before she had found any sort of work there, life was pretty much idle. Her father left with an old acoustic guitar in her care in which she never had a chance to take to Hongdae after she had run away. Back when it was still in her hands, she used it often during lazy afternoons when it seemed all too quiet.
Today, Choa was a customer in Comma. She was seated at the corner of the room with a caramel macchiato in hand. Visions of those certain afternoons swept by her memory which earned a smile from the girl. Choa wrote certain songs in the past and kept the lyrics and sheets hidden away in a box which she also failed to bring along.Taking a sip of her drink, she sighs while watching the rain pour outside. The weather was unpredictable these days. Choa wrapped her arms around herself as soon as she placed the cup down onto the surface of the table.
A tune crossed her mind. It was a familiar melody which she used to play on her guitar often. Choa’s forehead wrinkled as she furrowed her brows trying to remember the exact lyrics but to no avail. She hummed the melody to herself quietly, not really giving a thought if anyone heard. It’s been a long time since she had sung anything. Her father would usually remind her about how talented she was every time he had heard her sing. Choa refused to believe him, of course. She thought she was just… alright. It was a perfect song for the gloomy environment outside. If only she could remember the lyrics, it would be even better. Grabbing a piece of tissue from the side, Choa pulls out a pen from her pocket and starts scribbling down some words.
“I’ll just make new ones, then.”
It had been a long while since she’s done anything like this being much too busy with work. Choa could feel how rusty her writing skills were but the tune kept her going. It was as if it was encouraging her to get back into this past hobby.
"What’s my personality? Actually, I’m not sure about it too.. I’m a little.. I got influence by my mood quite easily. When I’m moody, I don’t like to talk much. But when i’m happy, I talk a lot :D"
cafe latte -- gongyoo&choa
He muttered his thanks for the coffee and sat close to the counter. He almost inhaled the liquid at the speed he was absorbing his daily caffeine. Panting followed after he rapidly exhaled from the heat. “Wow! I needed that.” He said, laughter followed after.
Shifting his attention back to her, a cheeky grin replaced his laughter as he gazed at her. “It’s not so easy training just anybody. I have my eye on you. Can’t hurt but to try, you know. Rewards awaits the patient.”
Taking another long sip from the cup, he allowed his eyes to close as momentary nirvana descended on his senses. “You know, apart from you. I think perhaps only Gayoon’s could compare to this amazing coffee that you serve. I can’t expect Gayoon to give up her shop… but… Won’t you consider? Please~ Pretty please?” He said, his palms coming together in a pleading gesture. “Say yes and I wouldn’t bother you about coming over ever again.” He nods, with full puppy eyes active.
Choa nodded, feeling accomplished once she noticed his reaction. She was proud of what she made and even if she wasn't the best, she did know how to fix up a decent cup of delicious coffee. Chuckling lightly, she shook her head once he had started to speak about recruiting her again. This guy just won't stop. Taking the towel she had used, Choa went back to cleaning the counter tops as she continued to listen to him ramble on while trying to convince her. She stops wiping the surface to look at him briefly, "You know, I don't think I'll be able to give up my job here. Unlike a lot of people these days, I owe my life to this place and I wouldn't trade it for anything else." A warm smile graces her lips as she stares down at the clean marble of the counter. "It's a simple cafe, but it's good. So look, I'm grateful that you appreciate my talents. I really really am. But... I don't think I'm cut out for anywhere else but here." A small shrug before she sets aside the towel. Choa lowers his pleading hands with her own as she leans towards him a bit. "I really do hope you understand." She turns his back on him and takes a look at the wall clock hanging on the right. It was almost time for the wave of the usual customers to come around.

cafe latte -- gongyoo&choa
Half-opened eyes led the male into the shop, the scent of coffee hitting his nose. A deep breath later and his eyes seemed just slightly more awake, shuffling his steps closer to the counter and he laid his head down onto it.
"Choa~" He mumbled. "Give me a cup of coffee or come work for me at Flux." He yawned, the same sentence perhaps being repeated almost daily by him.
"Why do I have to get up so early to get stuff?" He complained. "I’d still need to head over to Lunaire later to grab the coffee for the bistro from Gayoon. Please Choa~ Come to the dark side, we have cookies and the way you make coffee is just different." He continued to ramble on.
"The other one who can make a nice cup is over at the coffee prince, but I keep getting weird looks whenever I visit there to headhunt their barista. It’s almost like they see someone else or something." He continued whining.
Her ears had picked up the sound of the door opening and she whirled around to see who it was. Ah, him again. This guy never seemed to get tired of trying to pluck her out of this place. Choa chuckled when she watched him mumble and groan for some coffee. It really was too early to be functioning like a normal person anyway. "Don't worry about it. I'll get you the coffee." She nodded in his direction before wiping her hands clean on her apron. Choa glanced at him while she was taking her time making the perfect cup of coffee for his order. A smile played on her lips as she listened to him plead. Quite ridiculously, really. He probably already knew that her heart was glued to this certain place. She owed the owner her life. "I'm quite aware of my coffee making skills, thank you very much." Winking, she places the finished order in front of him and leans against the counter. She tilts her head to the side a little while staring at her newly polished nails, "Well..." Choa starts, "maybe it's time for you to just train someone to work for you." Shrugging, she pushes herself away from the counter and places her hands on her hips. "That might work for you." She grins at him hoping he would consider her suggestion. Gongyoo would come by almost every day to bother her about this. He was probably the most persistent person she had ever come across.
happiness - dongwoon&choa ;;
humming softly to himself as he runs his fingers over a book written in braille, dongwoon enjoys the quietness of cafe comma on halloween night. he has plans later to go club hopping, since it’s club day weekend, but for now it’s nice not to be troubled by other things and simply just read a book. he can hear by way of the wait staff that the residents of hongdae are enjoying halloween in full swing and that’s wonderful; fleetingly, dongwoon wishes that he could see, so that he too can appreciate the costumes of halloween.
however, the moment doesn’t last for long and he returns to his book. it’s a spooky little novel that a friend of his had gifted him. it’s not easy to find books written in braille, but when his friends come across them, they do give it to him as presents and he tries his best to find them on his own as well. for the mood of halloween, it’s a perfect book to be reading. it makes his shortcomings as a blind person on such a visual holiday a little less hard to cope with and it cheers him up. dongwoon sips his coffee as he reads and when he finds his drink running out, he stands up to approach the counter.
"hello, can i get a refill on this vanilla latte?" he asks politely as he holds his cup out to the wait staff on the other side of the counter. the 23-year-old can tell that they’re there because of the soft sounds of breathing. he wonders what it’s like to have to work and watch everyone enjoy the festivities instead. out of a sudden whim, he smiles and adds, "are you in a halloween costume too?"
Once the kids disappeared from her sight, Choa smiled lightly to herself as she turned her eyes away from the door. She came to realize how lucky these kids from around these parts of Seoul were. Back where she came from, the day of the dead was a time for remembering those who have passed away in peace. There were little to no festivities whatsoever. Shaking the thought out of her mind, Choa continued to collect the empty cups situated above the counter.
After tidying them up, she noticed a man sitting not too far away from where she was. Her eyes focused on the way he read and she tilted her head to the side, wondering if the conclusion in her head was right. Choa watched him rise from his seat and it seemed as if he was making his way over to her.
She smiled at his request before taking the cup gently from his hands. "Sure thing, sir." Choa said warmly as she whirled around to fix him another vanilla latte. A goofy giggle escaped the confines of her throat when he had asked about her costume, "No, sir. But I guess my face would pass as scary enough for this time of the year." She was kidding, of course but sometimes she really did feel that she looked utterly hideous especially when she took the crazy night shifts.
cafe latte -- gongyoo&choa
She had arrived to work earlier than usual that day. Choa adjusted the strap on her shoulder bag as she unlocked the cafe door. Letting herself in, she stood quietly in the stillness of the room, taking in the scent of yesterday's coffee. It took a while before she had finally managed to head into the staff room. Placing her uniform on, she let out an exhausted sigh. Choa wondered how she got up so early when she had worked overtime the night before. Her body clock wasn't as in tune as she thought it was. After fixing down her uniform, she took a mug from the employee's table and exited the staff room. The counter was all her own as long as no customers arrive just yet. It was too early for anyone to be roaming these parts of Hongdae, so Choa was confident that she could have her free cup of mocha latte in peace. The one thing about coffee she loved more than the fact that she made a living out of it was that it had the most calming scent. Choa was really thankful that she landed in this place more than any other. It was a decent job with enough pay to keep her alive and it kept her mind away from the things that were bothering her most of the time. Choa took one last sip from the mug before placing it into the sink. She took a small damp towel and decided to clean the counter tops while waiting for the first customer of the day.
