plotting
sĚlĚeĚžeĚpĚoĚvÍ eĚrÍ Ě˝nĚiĚgĚhĚtĚ.
it wasnât often that Yoona got a night off from her shift, constantly having to work almost everynightâ she got used to the sleepless night alright, but the exhaustion that followed was never an easy thing to cope withâ thus when she was finally given a little time to relax, rest was the only thing on her mind.
weary were her steps as she walked into the bedroom, pulling the covers with one leg already on the mattress and it was just then that her doorbell rang and a frustrated groan left her pink lips.  she didnât move from her spot, hoping whoever it is waiting for her to open up would leaveâyet presistent was the person who decided to bother her so late at night, âsomeone better be deadâŚâ she grumbled under her breath, dragging her feet to the front door with eyes ready to shoot daggers at whoever it was. her annoyed expression was quickly replaced by a frown once she looked through the peephole and caught sight of the figure standing behind the door, âbarbie? what theââŚâ she pulled the door open to reveal an impatient jessica. âgod. do you even know what time it is?â the brunette rubbed the back of her frail neck, raising an eyebrow when she met the look on jessicaâs face, âare you okay? what are you doing here anyway?âÂ
With her luck, Jessica was stuck in an apartment with horrible heat. There was no heat, actually, that was the point. Nights started to turn colder and thus she wanted to turn on the heating system, but when she tried, it nearly went, as some would say, boom. She was lucky it didn't actually go with that "boom", but instead it just notified her by a slight sound that it was not going to work, the system needed repair. Just great. It was not like she did not have the money, but even if she were to ask someone to come over and repair it for her, probably no company would come at that time in the night and it would probably take a while for them.Â
There was a better solution. The solution was that she could spend the night at someone else, but considering that Jessica did not have many friends, at least not ones that would spend their night in their apartment rather than in the club, she was stuck. But then it dawned on her. Neighbours. She could count on one of them, but the only one that she had thought about going to was not exactly the most pleasurable company, at least not in her opinion, but after a short contemplation, it had come to the conclusion that she would get to spend the long night somewhere cosy and warm and also get to step on the nerves of someone she disliked. What was there to not win on her side? Honestly, it was perfect and thus, she had soon found herself in front of the door just a few floors up, knocking on it to be greeted with a grimace and with questions that she did not exactly like. "Darling, that's not a way to greet guests, mostly guests that are going to be sleeping over."Â
â blind date... say what?
yet she was the only one who had actually approached the shop without averting her gaze and hurrying away. deciding that asking was better than standing and making pointless assumptions, shoe soles of sneakers pressed against the ground one after the other, and reluctant steps carried him over to the female, keeping a safe distance between them as he inquired, âuh. sorry, but⌠are you⌠uh, my, uh, you know, my date?â âŚawkward much.
She was not sure that she wanted to continue with the date that had been planned for her, the meeting spot already seemed to make the date a joke, she had been fooled. What kinds of friends she had. Friends that would get a piece of her mind once she would be back and finished, but in the same time, maybe she should have just turned around and go back to where she came from, go back to her apartment and do something she actually liked instead of meeting with someone who she was not sure anymore that would be the ideal man that he had been presented as.Â
And she was right. He was not the ideal type she had been told to and bragged about, he was not the man of her dreams. He was not a man all in all, he was a boy. The boy that had approached her and had caught her attention, his question only making her eyebrows raise in surprise, surprise that someone would do this to her, was nowhere near what she had imagined. He was indeed tall as he was described, but everything else was faux. His wear was casual, there was no possible way that he would be from the same social class, something that always came in as important to her, Jessica only hung out with the social elite, she had a reputation to keep. Except her workers, that was, but the fact that she would do whatever she could for her workers to enjoy going to the place they woke up every morning for, was seen as an act of kindness, she was not seen as a cold, stone-hard and bossy figure. It was a double win situation.Â
She was almost tempted to ask him for his ID. He was so young looking, was he even the legal age of drinking? She doubted it, but tried not to think too much of it and instead spoke out, her voice coming out as maybe a tone in pitch higher than it would be expected, although at a second look, it probably stroked her feminine features well. "It seems... Are you Junhong?"

Now standing before her, he placed his hands behind his back, flipping his hair. âGot it? You better because Iâm not one to repeat myself.â Giving a sharp smirk, he dipped his head. âSee you then.â Turing on his heel he began to walk in front of the exit doors, not waiting for her to object his wish. Before opening the doors, he cursed himself and ran back to the girl. âI almost forgot,â he lends in pecking her lips and slowly moving away, âUhm,â he licked his lips and clicked his tongue, âdisgusting. You should wear something, least sugary. I donât do sweet.â Â
She couldn't believe the gut that he had, the way he so easily spoke and the way he talked to her as if he had known her ever since. Ever since the beginning of time or maybe even earlier, he spoke with such nonchalance that it was quite annoying, even for someone who was raised on foreign grounds, where people did not put a lot of accent and emphasis on manners, where people spoke with each other frely. English was the language that had no polite form, whereas Korean had so many and the way Koreans spoke was so formal, that it came to her as a surprise that he spoke so easily, freely and cockily to her.Â
She was just about to refuse him, but he had already left. She reached out for the book that he had placed on the shelf, but sudenly she felt a pair of lips press a peck to hers. Her eyes opened wider, her eyebrows shooting up in surprise. He had gone over the line. She had to do something about it, but instead of thinking, she took a hold of his arm with her hand, turned him closer to her and raised her other hand to slap it across his cheek. It was a well-deserved slap, who did he think he was acting like that?Â
It was no longer about Jessica being spoiled, always having things go her way, it was that she had been practically insulted and treated like she was an object. It was something that she absolutely hated. "I have a name. My name is Jessica and I am not your object, property or whatever else so you can speak to me like that."

blindfold :// joonâjessica
Out of all the establishments in the area, Lunaire wasnât anywhere near the top of his list of potential date spots, but since the location had already been set, Joon hadnât had any say about it. Lunaire was predictable and predictable wasnât necessarily badâ except for the fact that the photographer had never been fond of predictable. He had to remind himself that this wasnât even his date, originally. As he took a table at the back of the coffee shop, he made a mental note to play his part and then proceed to get out of there as soon as he could. To be clear, he had little expectations for the night.Â
For Jessica, blind dated were a way of fun, but at some point it had become something that her friends would set her on also to have something to do or sometimes just to play a few jokes on her, setting her up with people who were not her type, but they had promised this time that they had found the one who was just the one she was looking for, it was the type of man she was searching for and had sometimes described. She had been told that he was a womanizer, but he was willing to settle down and maybe he would do just that with Jessica.
But shortly afterwards she was actually told by one of her friends that the date would be given up. She was told just a few hours before it, but somehow, when she was about to make other plans with other acquaintances, she had been told that the date was back up, she just hadn't been told that the one she would be dating was not the one they had set up for her, but someone who was friends with him.Â
Lunaire was actually one of her favorite places, she frequented it as much as she could, as often as she could and most of the coffee that she drank came from it, packaged every morning in a container made of carton and a plastic lid, especially delivered to her shop to have her day start with her favorite cup of cappuccino with a hint of cinnamon. She had walked inside the cafe and headed towards the table where she was told to wait, but her companion had already arrived, it seemed. "Hello.", she greeted, bringing herself on one of the seats.
â blind date... say what?
so junhong waited, wondered whether she would actually show up or whether his friends had been out to make his free afternoon as awkward as humanly possible.
When she was given the address, it seemed familiar to her, but she didn't put much thought into it, she thought that it was just a place that she frequented and the name sounded familiar, but in reality, why it was so was because she did pass by that street a few times, but what stuck in her mind was the view of that store. The view of the store that was considered sinful, that shouldn't be placed there, that many passed by with their eyes fixed on the ground, not daring to glance at it. She had always wondered just how did people walk inside. Did they try to make sure that nobody who knew them saw them, that no friends were around or no collegues were about to see them enter the shop? She was twenty and raised in a rather... eccentric country, less conservationist than Korea, but she was never curious of going into such places.
She had been set up by one of her friends. She knew her perfectly, she knew what Jessica liked and what type of men she liked, but she decided to pull a prank on her along with some of her own friends and set her up with someone who was opposite of her type. Not as much in behavior as in age, she did not exactly know, she was told that he would be tall, quite handsome, youthful looking, in his early twenties, with a bit of a cocky attitude and a rebellious allure, the heir to a business like her father's.
But it was all just a joke of her friend. When she arrived at the meeting place, realising that it was the shop that had been printed in her mind, she walked rather slowly towards it, her heels clicking against the pavement, her skirt fixed on her legs and her thin white blouse with black sleeves and collar fluttering in the wind.
- Jessica + Hae
-; He looked around again at the shop while he stood there in front of the lady. There were still many people looking around and Hae kinda felt bad about just standing around in peoples way. He didnât say anything about that though, he would get going soon and then probably not set a foot in the shop again for quite awhile. At least then he wouldnât make a fool of himself, wow, his father would scold him if he was here. That thought made Hae inwardly cringe but he masked it on the outside by smiling again and looking back at the woman.;-Â
She was focused on the male as he spoke, her eyes wandering around his features. He really had that something special, a je ne sais quoi, if you would, there was something about him that would definitely sell, catch the attention of potential buyers and potential clients in her shop. She knew that she had to have him, she had to have him in her crew. To hire him for her shop, she wouldn't accept a refusal from him, and then again, when did Jessica ever accept a refusal for an answer? She didn't seem mad that he had bumped into her, particularly because she had started to think other things, her mind had drifted away.Â
"So you're not a regular... I knew I haven't seen you around before.", she muttered out, finding it just a bit odd that he hadn't recognised her, considering she had posed for her own shop a few times, but she didn't exactly feel in any way hurt about it. She placed a smile on her lips, curling them just a bit, as she lifted her arms and crossed them underneath her chest. Her eyes had fallen for a moment, seemingly not bothered by the wink that he had offered her. She didn't mind cocky, not when she would benefit from it.
"Would you...", she started, her eyes moving up once more to take a look at the male, noticing that he was quite uncomfortable, but she wanted to ease that, even if the question that came was not exactly one that would make just anyone less nervous. "Like to model for the shop? I am Jessica Jung, owner of My J.", she spoke as she brought her hand out, finally introducing herself to the other.
|| â || Iá´'s Ná´á´ A Dá´á´á´ - JÉŞĘá´É´É˘ á´É´á´ Já´ssÉŞá´á´
Of course, now this was getting dumber by the minute. No girl never told him no before, so why would she? If anything she would be honored to have such a man to as her out. He clicked his tongue as he turned on his heel. In a swift step, she stood over her shoulder, taking the book from her hands and hiding it behind his back. âWhatâs your name?â he said the words without a simple hello first, though his voice was smooth and calm and he pressed up a charming smile as he waits for her answer.Â
She had to get another book, it was not the only one her friend had asked for her and thus, she began to look around the same shelf that she had been interested in previously and had found what she needed. Her eyes actually fell on the cover of one of the books displayed, the title, after managing to read it by tilting her head a few inches, seemed to be the one she needed, but before she could reach for it, the one she had in her hold had vanished.Â
Had vanished? No, someone had took it. She was not exactly quick to react, it usually took Jessica about a second or two more than the average person to react to something similar, but once she turned and had her eyes fall on the male, her eyebrows raised quite surprised. Not at his act, but at the question that he had put, the sheer guts that he had to do something which would be considered rude and impolite to a stranger. And to think she thought of herself as rude in comparison to Korean manners. She seemed to be just a little trainee, a child compared to this one person that had so easily snatched the book away and asked for her name out of the blue. No greeting whatsoever. Had she been back to her home in the USA, she would have viewed it differently, just another one of those scumbags who thought of themselves as interesting, but instead, this one had some sort of attitude and mostly, like said, he had guts to do that.Â
"My name is Give me my book back.", she muttered out, her voice quite soothing instead and her pitch just a bit higher than it was probably expected. She extended her hand, holding it out expectantly at the male that she didn't know and was not entirely interested in knowing.Â
