Purple and white

purple: 10 facts about my muse’s room.

oo1. The wall behind her bed in filled with pictures of places and people who Ara deems very close to her heart, small quotes and poems can be found on the verse of those pictures regarding her feeling about them at the moment the picture was printed, though she never voiced that to anyone who drops by to visit.

oo2. Since her roommate is usually busy with erratic schedules and can stay away for short periods of time due her job as a flight attendant, Ara takes it upon herself to keep the apartment clean and organized. In her mind is the least she can do for the one person who took her under her wing and had never disappointed the younger girl.

oo3. She’s starting to run out of space to place all of the books she posses, it’s currently piling up next to her bed, though the young girl debates in either or not acquire a new shelf once she doesn’t really know where to place it.

oo4. Her acoustic guitar is placed on the very left of the living room in the apartment, for anyone who comes across the instrument it might look like an article of decoration, and though Ara refuses to admit it, she still plays it whenever she feels lonely or utterly inspired.

oo5. There’s a really small cactus standing proudly on her nightstand, it was a present from one of her friends who claimed it would be the only flower she wouldn’t get killed, Ara secretly waits for the time a flower will blossom once it means ‘endurance’ in flower language.

oo6. She usually lets her phone recharge through the night, set neatly under the pillow she rest her head at while she finish planning the next day’s classes or finishing reading the material for the morning’s lectures.

oo7. Ara changes the comforts that covered her bad based on her mood, she doesn’t exactly have a collection out of them, but she has just enough to both hers and Violet’s bed to appear different each passing week.

oo8. She slip her laptop on her panda plush’s lap whenever she’s not using it, her friends usually claims the bear is actually bigger than her, which isn’t exactly a lie once it covers almost the entire bed. Ara jokes that the panda’s the reason to why she doesn’t sleep there due to ‘lack of space.’

oo9. Her bag and jacket lies neatly and strategically on top of her couch, just in case she needs to rapidly leave the apartment to run errands or just because she’s late, which occurs pretty often, fashionable late as her roommate mock her for.

oo10. Crosswords puzzle decorate the tables of the apartment, Ara is always completing a new one and if feeling challenged enough or even irritating for not figure out the right word she will take a break and only complete it whenever she sees the game again.

One would be his father’s watch, one that was given to him just before the day of his parents’ death.

His iPod, mainly because he needs music in his life to keep him sane and reduces the stress that he has on a day to day basis.

◇ everyone has a stubborn side to them, but his goes up to abnormal extent, a man with a mind that is hard to change, stricly sticking to his ideals and familiar patterns, a times it'll be beneficial to remain with a strong stand, but his closed off head needs to be mend, to open up his frame of mind mind and let him unwind his straightforward aspects.

◇ bravery is truly one of his traits, so daring with fearless nerves, but he wouldn't consider himself a hero, more like a man with duty he has to fulfill, where no place is left for fears, chest thrust forward, and a strongly built spine. he takes on threats with steel.

◇ call him a saint, but he's just a man full of faith, with a strong sense of belief, he's confident in the way of life that he leads, always strives to be better, could be defined as optimistic but don't mistake it for innocence, for he is realistic as well. truly an honest man.

His eyes payed more attention to the screen of his phone more than absolutely anything else in his life, emails, texts, calls, the internet. Everything was at the reach of his thumb, the knowledge of the world and conversations with as many people as he desired. All within a thumbs reach - it was amazing really, when you stop and think about every single thing a simple device that's soul purpose was to make phone calls, could do now these days.

But with his attention averted from what was ahead of him, he had failed to pay any mind to the things or people around him. A force with quick momentum had side swiped him, gasps ripping from both throats as he managed to take a step back and catch himself. Though the person who had been the one to cause such contact    wasn't as lucky as he.

Wincing himself from the sound of the impact, his jaw dropped in disbelief when the sound of a loud whine entered his ears and shook his thoughts. Shaking his head and kneeling down almost immediately to tend to the child before him. "I - im sorry!"

Truth be told Jonghyun really wasn't sure who's fault it was, but the apology fell from his lips like a broken faucet with no sign of an end. "Im sorry, are you okay?" His eyes immediately drawn to the red in random places, his head, his knee, his elbow. With every fresh laceration set infront of him was another weight of guilt being dropped on his shoulders. 

"Do you need an ambulance? ahh - what a mess!"

Jongdae took his phone before he could leave his apartment, rushing since that afternoon nap took more time than he thought. He brushed his teeth and fixed his hair as fastest he could, almost forgetting his wallet and his sketch book. It wasn't his first time meeting someone from an online game, his first time was in L.A. when he met someone from DOTA. It was pleasure yet something curious considering they became like best friends once they saw each other's faces. Junhong was the first korean he met online since he moved to Hongdae. He still remembers when his favorite player from Tera told him he lives in the same district like him, he was surprised but also couldn't stop smiling, they got quite close after dealing with all their way to level 60 and now trying to save money for they masterwork gear. Tera was probably a game with only 60 levels, but it was definitely more than that.

He went to the place using his skateboard as always, as fast and furious as those guys in the movie but in a skate. The place wasn't far from his place, he was excited even if their meeting point was actually an arcade probably full of kids. For him, he was never too old for it. He arrived 15 minutes late, holding his skate under his arm and quickly looked around for him.

{' when the cliche talk about how cops like donuts turn into reality and the craving for one was simply stronger than words, not even the fact that the other officers had practically bailed on the offer would stop him from walking towards that one shop. never stand in the way of a hungry man, especially during his much needed break, be it with someone or all alone, he would get what his stomach was longing for.

---so neatly dressed in his police attire, from the tidy shoes, to the blue bottom up shirt and the sparkling badge sitting freshly attached to his chest, he walks with certain steps, among the hustle of feasting crowd, slipping in to find himself an empty table as he settles himself down. ebony eyes follow the restless bunch of young waiters, reminders of the days when he was the one breaking a sweat at part-time job as well as trying to keep up with his grades-- he was always bound to set an example after all.

---his eyes meet those of a younger one-- well at least his face looked young enough, though his size was another story, safe to say that he could surely match siwon's height if it came to that,-- a hand goes up gesturing to catch the waiter's attention, even though by now his presence was made very well known.

all he wanted was a donut and a cup of coffee then return to his work, who knew this day had a bunch of other surprises that would catch his eye. '}

At the age of twenty-four, Sungyeol had never been to a party. And as the sweaty crowd, along with background music that consisted of more wubs than words, surrounded him, he's not sure as to why he decided to attempt otherwise. A cup was shoved in his hands ages ago, but the color is akin to unhealthy urine and the smell was even worse, not to mention the warning from his younger, socially normal brother about not accepting drinks from strangers, so the liquid was poured down the kitchen sink. In order not to be offered anything else, a glass of Coke is obtained and held far away from any possible troublesome hands.

With his back up against the wall, the lanky male immediately turned into a spectator, wondering when he started to feel like he was watching an animal documentary, as opposed to a group of human beings. Bodies were pressed up against each other, hips moving purposefully, and awkwardness grew in the pit of his stomach, having never witnessed so much physical affection before in his entire existence. Would he be a failure, if he went home? Obviously, there was nothing here for him, and there was a Super Smash Bros. 3DS demo calling his name. Quarter-sized eyes connected with the front door, willing the sea of people to part, so that he may make his escape.

But then, a new presence is noticed, one that took on a similar position to himself, same dark, bubbly liquid lining their glass. Amazingly, the other is taller than himself, and it dazzled Sungyeol for a moment, since in his native Hongdae, he had never met someone with longer limbs. The need to speak was weighty, and maybe the party atmosphere created a false liquid courage in the typically shy nerd, so he leaned in to mutter the most perfect greeting. "What's your favorite Pokemon?" Smooth.

no sleep

"junhong those are cool shorts. junhong. junhong look at the camera." his voice landed somewhere between an infantile whine and sturdy words as his fingers fumbled around the camera, directing it to point at the empty beds. perhaps perverted acts are the first thing to surface in someone's pool of thoughts whenever a camera is facing, or even near, a bed, but filming a sex tape would always be too mainstream for jongup to try--for now, anyways. ambling back to the bed, all he really cared about was filming this, tonight, for no other reason than as a preservation of a memory, of time, of the hours they'd waste doing random activities instead of what they really needed: sleep. because, with a lanky friend who trips over air, sleep was a waste of time he couldn't quite afford. "come lay with me," he called as he let his body fall on the softened surface of the bed, hands moving to grasp at the pillows ahead of him. the rest of his words are muffled and quieted by the bed, his nose and lips digging into it as if excavating comfort. long nights, long laughs, long limbed friends. life was starting to feel pretty alright.
