WILL NOT ACCEPT 1 LINE INTERACTIONS: Distress is a non-verbal muse, that requires descriptive narrations. Characters are allowed to initiate an interaction with one line. But after my first response, I expect partners to put in the same effort as I am when writing. Role players are not expected to match the length of my posts, but please respect the time I put into an interaction. Please include more than a line or two of dialogue, if you intend to carry a thread with this blog.

Please do not overpower the muse, without prior interactions: For Example: "John Smith lassos the hellhorse, and rides her." or "Jane Doe feeds the horse an apple and strokes her mane." Distress does not trust strangers, and will flee if they approach. Please discuss your character's interactions with me before hand.

"Imagine being eaten by a horse," the Goetia snickered. "It certainly seems one of the more pathetic ends."

The wild animal would not dare to get any closer to the high demon. But if he was to look carefully, Parak would see that the hellhorse's upper lip was hooked and rigid much like his own... Almost like the beak of a bird.

Perhaps the two consumed a similar diet. Were they both omnivores who ate small prey animals and plants? It would make sense if royalty spoiled their mounts with the same foods they dined upon. A true sign of luxury is to waste necessities, upon those who do not need it.

The hellhorse lowered her head and greedily licked her lips at the queef… what a tasty looking morsel. Winter was upon the Rings of Hell and prey was scarce. Who was she to question a plump free meal?

Terrified squeaks and RUNNING AWAY

The queef darts between her legs, and the mare squeals in surprise at his speed. With a loud clatter of hooves she scrambled to turn around in the tight alley and chases after the pet.

Her prey disappears into the crowded street, before she storms onto the sidewalk sending anyone passing by into a frenzy. In the chaos she loses the queef, and huffs in frustration. Looks like she would have to find a less convenient snack…

The Inspiration behind Distress the Hellmare Joey the Warhorse Puppet

The video speaks for itself, and these pictures fail to emphasize the detail that the puppeteers and the creators went through to bring The Warhorse to life.

I do my best to capture the same feeling with Distress in my writing, which is why I go in depth when describing her movements and emotions.

If you are a lover of theater or horses, I cannot recommend checking out this video enough. Unfortunately this video is quite old and not the best quality, but the fact that I am still moved by it 14 years later is a testament to its greatness.

The hellhorse lets out a gleeful whinny, when she sees her new friend match her enthusiasm. Rearing onto her hindlegs she shakes out the last of her "zoomies," before plopping down in front of the hound's outstretched paw.

Distress eagerly presses her muzzle into Aerwyn's palm and the hellhound could feel the horse's lips squish in her fingertips. The steed looks her in the eyes, relaxes her muscles and lets out a relieved sigh. The hound could feel the tickle of the hot mare's breath on her fur.

After making her point Distress takes a few steps back and tosses up her head. Her lips spread and flap to show her teeth and make it look like she was smiling. To finish her greeting she lowers her head and invited the hound to approach for herself. The horse's tail swished energetically a sign that she was still excited but intent on waiting for Aerwyn's next move.

The mare pins back her ears lets out an annoyed huff, when she overhears the imp’s ramblings.

YOUR lesbian horses? To her understanding, these two strangers only had one horse and one charity case, who was determined to bolt the moment her leg healed.

If the other mare wished to give up her freedom, so be it. But Distress had no interest in supporting this so called venture. The only good thing about the imps’ plan was that they would return to the Wrath Ring. This would only make her escape plans easier, when the time came.

I probably won't finish this one... I was testing out a new style with sharper angles, but the pose was too basic. I want to push myself for the next picture, but it was good practice. The two horse pictures in the top and bottom right corners were drawn by: probablyfakeblonde - the original artist behind Bombproof, I was using them as an art reference.
