Animals will eat outside of their usual diet in extreme cases. And if the people are not enough of the gods to eat what about the Ruidus born with a solid Predathos connection? Maybe they'll be desert.

This started out as a very late night sketch to help me fall asleep but I just had to finish it. This took me right back to my younger years of drawing nothing but dragons and it really gave me a good spark of inspiration. Drawing them will always be my favorite!
I can’t wait to see this bunch again soon.
A little mighty nein headcanon: one day yasha attempts to contact Veth using her supposed psychic link and gets quite sad when veth doesn't respond. Veth hears about this and enlists Caleb's help in enchanting a necklace or a bracelet to have sending built into it so that veth can really hear yasha when she tries to use her psychic link. They of course don't want to ruin the bit so they make it in her aesthetic and tell her its just a plain liece of jewelry but they got it for her as a present because it reminded them of her, knowing she will be sentimental enough to wear it for that reason alone. The first time veth responds to her "psychic link" yasha's face glows with joy. She and veth start having chats from time to time when they are cooking dinners, or tidying their houses. Miles apart but close at heart.

I am thinking about Mighty Nein weddings and it's making me happy, so imma share.
Yasha and Beau getting married on Rumblecusp. At the Beaurebar. Their honeymoon is spent beating the shit out of some guy in power treating his citizens like crap.
Yasha in a black dress with iredesent lightning bolts and flowers and peacock feathers sewn into it. Probably with a train that is fabric flowers. Blue accents.
Beau in a white suit with blue accents, with some Cobalt Soul uniform references.
Their wedding has every possible flower they could feasibly find.
Caleb is Beau's best man. King is Yasha's. He has a peacock feather for Molly, and a flower to honor Zula pinned to his tux.
Fjord is officiating. Jester absolutely designed their dressed and arranged all the decor and flowers. Cad and Veth worked together to make the wedding cakes (one is vegetarian.)
A few months earlier Beau burst into her family's house and yelled: HEY DAD! IM GETTING MARRIED. YOUR NOT INVITED BUT I WANT TJ TO BE IN IT. TJ and Luc are estactic to be the flower boys.
Fireworks at the reception. Luc and TJ set several off, much to Yezza's dismay. Veth is absolutely encouraging this.
No rings-not a good idea if you punch things all the time. But matching, very visible, tattoos.
Held right as the sun set. Essek is Caleb's plus one, and is holding his parasol, specially created for this occasion, very proudly.
Reception half elegant and half rave. A fight is absolutely going to break out in the middle of it. Possibly multiple times.
Fjord and Jester.
Huge wedding held in Nicodronus. Ceremony is on a ship, reception is a huge party at the Lavish Chateau. Caduceus is officiating.
People at the Chateau Jester grew up with, do the catering. Veth 'organized' them.
Caleb helps Jester plan an extravagant, elaborate prank. That probably involves sooo much glitter.
Fjord's best mam is Beau. Jester's is Veth. Luc and TJ are absolutely still flower boys. Yasha is on Jester's side as a braid's maid. Kingsley (who is absolutely Plank King by now, is a couple awkward steps next to Fjord.) Vandran is also there.
Very elegant ceremony. Jester in a floofy, white but almost pink dress that absolutely has hidden dicks in the viel design, surrounded by waves. Fjord in a beautiful captain uniform. Small wedding party. Huuuge reception.
Reception is bright pink and ocean themed. Like the Gaudious child's birthday party EVER but with a touch of class.
Portrait Booth of the Traveler's Door. Artagan 'photobombs.' Or does alternate sketches of people.
Elegant ocean themed rings that can turn into a pendant if they need to be removed.
Sprinkle in a little bow tie on Jester's shoulder. Fjord is absolutely terrified to kiss Jester at the end cuz he might (probably) get bitten by a very upset weasel. Nugget is blinking all over the place.
Jester's mother absolutely preforms. The Ruby and the Gentleman have the second dance of the night, and Jester gets to dance with her mother's 'new' partner. Essek gets Jester's second dance, until she 'accidentally and subtly' hands him off to Caleb. So much blushing ensues.
The entirety of Vox Machina accidentally got invited because Jester sent an invite to Keyleth's mom, and told her to bring however many people she wanted. And Keyleth wanted to meet the people who helped her mom, Percy and Vex want to be there for support, and Grog, Pike, Scanlan, and Tarry just want to party. A raven is watching from the window.
Jester and Fjord slip away to vandalize the outside of that shitty noble who wanted to kill Jester for a prank's house. And probably the inside. Let's just say that guy is about to wake up to completely harmless, extremely humiliating levels of Home Alone style tomfoolery.
Part of the Honeymoon is going to the Orphanage Fjord grew up in and kicking out all the shitty, corrupt caregivers. Then they go visit Darktow. The Nein all go on a vacation together after the honeymoon that probably ends in an unexpected fight with a Dragon
