He have failed his duties and he have sacrificed his pride and fed them to the wolves just to assure their victory, but why was this happening now? It was a sure hit, he had convinced himself when the trap was released. While it did kill the victims in mind, one arrow found itself piercing the wrist of his own Master. If not for her, it would have been him. An Archer dying by his arrow, how ironic and moronic.

     Her senses were telling her different things. The ravenette wasnât certain which to trust more.
     Faintly she could make out his heartbeat - nothing out of the ordinary, a very human sound. Something easily set aside as insignificant⊠if not in conjunction with her other senses. The man before her smelled human. Mostly. Still the same scent of sweat perpetually clinging to the body, the musk of hair. But beneath that, something different. Something more. Magic. Was he a mage? But it wasnât the kind of magic that Henry or Laurent exuded. Was he a magical being? No, that didnât seem quite right either. Too much human.
     Sight was always to be taken with a grain of salt, but it was just as important to a taguel as her other senses. Human in appearance: shaggy hair like carrots, eyes like summer leaves. He was taller than her (not that it was exactly difficult). Yet he did not strike her a magic-user. Body build (quite arbitrary given her experiences) and lack of any visible tome aside , the way he held his body lacked the nuances of a mage. His air as he watched - no, scrutinized - her was reminiscent of a cat, gauging whether he was hunter or hunted.
     Content Morgan would have been to safely hypothesize he was a human with magical gifts had it not been for his last statement. Summon me. Only thrice had the young woman witnessed summoning, and of those, none had produced anything remotely as exactly human as the man who stood there now. It did certainly explain a few thingsâŠ
     âSummoning magic for my people is reserved for the chosen and the fanatic.â At the very least, the redhead seemed the intelligent sort; Morgan reasoned her wording would have enough implication that they were of different worlds entirely. âYou would be correct to call me a magus, however⊠though our definitions may not completely coincide. And you are no mage. What manner of summon are you, then?â
Odd. Fanatics or the chosen? Considering the various type of magi that existed, there's no exactly denying that they could be some fanatic or some sort. Chosen ones? By the grail, perhaps. Both qualified with her given definition yet it seems she was unsatisfied with her conclusions. If she had gathered that much, surely she was a keen observer and one that was skilled in analyzing people and their behavior. In a sense, they were similar. A hunter must know his environment after all, especially his prey. The girl before him would be a good meal for tonight... or he had simply japed to himself.
A magus with no interest with the Grail War, its contents and the idea of Servants in itself. Not exactly the kind of needle one would usually see in a hay of stacks, go figure. It made sense that she belonged in a different era, different culture and one that not even the knowledge of the grail could touch and affect. The query in regards to his kind apalled him, if only for the lack of familiarity. Such a question was refreshing, almost enough to make him lose his composure over all. Still, the bowman remained relax as to not worry the girl. If she started doing so, it would be difficult to tell her to climb off of his ass.
"Magus. Magi. Magic users." There was a deeper definition to it and he would tell her if not for the lack of significance in telling so. "You really don't know anything at all, do you?" It's true that the kill or be killed ritual of magi had been a secret for long, concealed for the normal human race to see. However, she already made clear that she was not new in the arts of performing magic, or at least he could decipher that much from the get up and the accurate observation. "I'm a Servant of the grail. Summoned by someone to fight other Servants."
What did he think he was doing? His behavior was annoying enough already, and Teresa considered herself a relatively patient person, patient enough to handle such situations with style and grace, but that was just downright unacceptable. Company was the last thing she needed, and definitely not that kind of company. It didnât take her too long to reach for the sword and draw it again. Even if she could not hurt him, - but, letâs be honest, she never cared for the rules all that much, - she could at least try to intimidate him.
âDo not even think about it.â
"W-Woah there, lady! Find your inner chill, won't you?"
He hadn't done anything, at least not a thing that would deem him worthy to get some awful taste of that blade. It looked so sharp and so solid, probably enough to slice his head off should she so desire. In all honesty, how could he even hope for himself to fight fairly one day when the sight of a sword so near him already makes him cringe and cower? Well, he already accepted that he was no knight and never will he become one.
"Hey, not here to fight."
âArcher, hmm? There is little need for titles with no worth. At least in my time here, there has not been a grail nor masters. It has been quite a long time indeed.â
The presence of servants was quite odd without a grail war. Perhaps it wasnât starting for some time, but Gilgamesh had found himself summoned here for years with no signs of magi nor other servants until recently.
âArcher, you do not make the rules over someone of my caliber. I will ask and I will be answered as I please.â
"If that's true then there's no point to me being here with you now, is there?"
He already imagined what kind of paradise it would be like. The boy didn't mean to smirk at the notion, but it was already too late to take it back.
"What are you gonna do otherwise, eh? Kill me? That'd just send me back to the Throne of Heroes and I, again, will heed someone's call. That your definition of threat, goldie? You're stronger than me. However, killing me here would prove nothing."
She stops in front of the door, the smell coming from behind it making her rethink her choices. âYour bedroom is next to this⊠smell?â
