How very special are we, for just a moment to be part of life's eternal rhyme.
I’m sure you’ve come across this song once or twice in your internet savvy lifetimes, be it from leek, vocaloid, or remix. But did you know...
This version is actually a cover? The original version is from a finnish group called Loituma, so if you want lyrics, look up their version.
But the popular one today (and the song in this tumblrweed’s head) is the Hatsune Miku version of Ievan Polkka.
Rest in Peace, Sam Spence.
This was an unusual song. Not eligible for the oscars as it was based off of 2 parody songs, with the themes of 2 others. One of the singers (Adam Driver) basically ad-libbed his stuff, since he wasn’t really a singer but just did his thing, and it turned into a very organic piece you see here.
Oh...and for those star wars fans in the group...two of the three here are in the new one. Of course there is a mashup somewhere.
There was something in the air that night. The stars were bright, Fernando. They were shining there for you and me, For liberty, Fernando. Though we never thought that we could lose, there's no regret. If I had to do the same again I would, my friend, Fernando

This is the techno computerized music of the future!
Once upon a time, the company Coca-Cola had a little image problem. It was seen as the drink for old people, while the hippies of the 60s and 70s were drinking the trendier Pepsi-Cola.
In response, Coca-Cola had probably the catchiest and most generationally crossing commercial jingle ever.
Pop open a can of Coke and sing along this tune by the New Seekers!
“We all have the shivers, a headache and a cough, A runny nose and frozen toes, our christmas trip is off”
Who is the boss? The Duke of Zill Of Course!
This movie is not that good, kind of a guilty pleasure for me, personally. But this song is really neat!
Songify this + Netflix promo video = theme song
Give a little time for the child within you, Don't be afraid to be young and free.
WOAH, COME WITH ME NOW, I WILL TAKE YOU DOWN WOAH, COME WITH ME NOW, I WILL SHOW YOU HOW.
I get the vibe from hearing the song and seeing the vid that it has a very "fighting depression and inner demons" tone.
It's really catchy, and really nice to listen to (which if you have seen a trailer for a movie or TV show this year, you probably did)
This password is Buena!
Such a lovely catchy jingle.
Come on and get the minimum, before you open up your eyes. This army has so many hands, are you one of us?
Broken Bells' The High Road is a really nice song. Kinda surprised it was sorta lost after its initial boom a couple years back, especially since it seems to fit the new style of rock really well.
Joss Stone's cover of it is also very good, worth listening to as well.
That's the Way We Go!
I have a confession:
I really like the Scooby Doo Movies. Not those "Special guest the Harlem Globetrotters" one, and more than just the first four, the ones in the "What's New?" era as well.
They have great chase music, neat villains while still having them be people (and it seems like more of a whodunit, since you do get to see these people in a social setting for more than 1 minute), and it seems like everyone has more personalities.
