"Stretch Marks," watercolor and ink by me!

Trying to make some art about body positivity (highlighting stretch marks on the figure's legs). I remember first noticing stretch marks on my legs and trying to look up unbiased explanations. What I found were guides on how to cover them up, or why I should feel shame for having any at all. We shouldn't be shamed for our bodies and their histories; stretch marks tell a story and should be celebrated.

Reno skyline in watercolor 🙏

Things I'm happy with: the colors, sunset, and pushing myself to try a high contrast detailed painting without the safety net of inking it

Critiques for myself: perspective isn't totally convincing and it looks a bit flat, don't love the upper portion of the sky (gotta practice washes), and the masking fluid I used for city lights ended up being a bit blobby and uniform
