At the Healer's Compound (Prospect of Whitby)
Mason hated this, hated that his family was about to be under attack, hated that he had to send his darling Riley away. He walked into the pub carrying a stack of boxes, Jordan trailing behind with his own stack. Each box contained more supplies from his clinic, different medicines and potions used in his medical practice when dealing with both supernaturals and humans. He was spreading out the contents of each of the boxes across the counter where Jonna and Jeno had already laid out other supplies when he heard someone come up behind me. "I have coolers in the trunk of my car with blood bags just in case. They need to be put in the coolers." He says to whoever it was, not turning to look "There's more boxes in the back seat."

Mason couldn’t help but chuckle. “So I’ve heard. I like it though, the fact that you don’t hold back.” The healer says as he finishes putting things on the counter and leaning against it, watching the other man with a fond smile. “You could have literally had anyone at the party, what is it about me that’s different?”
Mason watched the other man stretch, the skin of his torso inviting as his shirt raised just enough to give him a show. He knew what Everett was doing and he wasn’t complaining one bit as he licked his lips, biting down on his bottom lip to stifle a groan at the sight. “Riley? Nothing scandalous there actually. He’s my adoptive son of a few months now. He had nobody when he came to London and I got attached. I was worried about him getting caught in the crossfire so I sent him to the Haven with his soulmate, Sam. Sam’s a good kid too, young though. Only about 2 years into the vampire life, but he’s good to Riley.” He says before humming “I know you’re worried about Eric. I’ve seen how worried Danny has been even though he won’t say why, I don’t think Skylar even knows, but Eric’s a strong one. He’ll figure out how to make it out of this, if he hasn’t already.”
Everett considered Mason for a moment. Putting his hands on his hips he popped his lips. “Guess you’ll never know now will you? Some secrets are mine til the grave.”
“Oh...” Everett pouted a bit but then put on a blinding smile. “Good. More for me.” He teased, dropping Mason a wink that promised a good time. He sobered up a bit. “I trust Eric to do what needs doing...and I’m going to be there by his side to make sure it happens. As every good brother should do. But its good you sent your little one away. Who knows who is going to get caught up in this mess.”
Mason couldn't help but smile despite what the other said. "I'll figure you out yet, Everett. I want to learn all that I can about you."
Mason couldn't help but smile at the slight pout, chuckling softly at his words. "All yours if you want it." He winks before listening to what he has to say about Eric. "I trust Eric too. He has never given me any reason not to, Magnus did well in that respect. You're a good brother though, Everett. I love how dedicated you are to the people you care about." He says before sighing "Yeah that's what I was afraid of. The people they are up against are corrupt beyond redemption and sadly I fear many will be hurt or killed to finally give your brother and his family peace. Now that I think about it, it kind of explains why Eric sent a necromancer to come be with us out of harm's way though. Do you think he knows or atleast suspects what his or someone else's fate will be?"
