I'm sharing a song which is very close to my heart. Though the song is in Hindi, the theme can be summed up as under:

Which poet's imagination is this wonder, i.e. the nature? Who is the artist, who has created and decorated green earth, blue sky, mountain-peaks, spiral valleys, flowers, trees and colors in all four directions? See the purity of nature and embrace it.

P.S. Today is the day of festivities. Lohri, Bhogi, Makar Sankranti, Khichdi, Pongal, Bihu etc are being celebrated across the country. Basically these are harvest festivals and mark the sun changing direction of trajectory towards the north, entering the Capricorn zodiac sign. It signifies the end of winter.

May these festivals bring joy and happiness, and spread peace, love and togetherness all over...

choking on water is the worst because how do you stop choking? drink something? well ive got some bad news for you

Lean your head forward, preferably to knee level, and let the water kind of drain out of your mouth. When your are able to, take deep slow breaths. No heimlich maneuver or physical assists from somebody else should be used beyond this, otherwise you could vomit and escalate the issue. Its about keeping the larynx open. Hopefully this helps.

if they begin to recover (if they’re coughing and gasping but breathing), do not pound them on the back, and especially do not attempt a Heimlich manouver; doing so may provoke them to vomit, which will make the problem much worse in a big hurry. Leave them alone physically and encourage them to breathe slowly and as deeply as they can as they expel the last of the water from their throat. The head-down face-down position is important, even if the head is only hung between the knees, permitting any water collected in their throat to drain out the mouth. You absolutely do not want their larynx to spasm shut in response to water intrusion.

Expect full recovery to take quite some time, possibly as long as several hours if they were swimming when this happened and they were badly weakened by the event.
