Trans women lesbians will always have more of a right to lesbianism than any binary man.

If a binary man wants to call himself a lesbian, and has access to enter into lesbian spaces, then his first act inside that space should abso-fucking-lutely be doing everything he can, including risk his own place there, to demand trans women and nonbinary transfems be included and accepted.

A while ago I had a bit of a first, where I introduced myself to a discord server as plural instead of transfem. I didnt know at the time that doing this basically makes people think you “dont count” as transfem, and that youre just using that label out of habit or something. The worst part is, that was the nicest Ive been treated in years.

No, seriously. I was no longer the 4channer klanfem male socialized little *bitch* that needed to be lectured. I was now an epic genderfuck icon to be listened to. Ive have never been listened to, not without constantly pushing for it. But now, I was practically a mentor to some of them. I was the elder queer who knew best. I barely even had to fucking *ask* for respect, I just got it.

I literally got to say, straight up, that I hated the egg prime directive shit. And you know, people listened to me? The one person that disagreed with me at least tried to explain himself. Normally id just get told to shut up or even made an example out of. No, this time I was worth talking to.

Its honestly been really demoralizing. I always knew queer community was a lie. I always knew that shit about “our transfem sisters” was lovebombing. But I never truly understood how many doors were closed, even by other trans people, to trans women.

This is why Im so bitter toward other trans people. Not because Im taking out my trauma or because of 4chan rhetoric or whatever the fuck. But because I know for a fact, every single time I engage in these stupid brick wall talks trying to convince my “community” of anything, every time I get the fucking lectures from my “siblings”, its all just the fucking she/her pronouns. If i was the epic genderfuck they wanted me to be and not the woman i really am, then most of my social ills would be completely gone.

Being a trans woman means you arent allowed access to womanhood or the supposed good/positive masculinity often claimed by trans masc folks. This idealized and positive masculinity is one that is supposedly above all negative traits of masculinity and the patriarchy in society that influences it. Trans fems are conversely allowed only access to the negative aspects of masculinity as inherited from patriarchy. We are referred to as being male socialized whenever we do something negative. We are overshadowed in discussions about womanhood and our claims to it are seen as dubious at worst and partial at best. Trans fems are allowed neither womanhood or the idealized manhood that trans mascs are. Instead we are seen as men in disguise waiting to enact our underlying patriarchal socialization. While trans mascs are seen as forging a new masculinity/manhood. One that is both divorced from the patriarchal expressions of masculinity in our society and one that is inherently linked to an experience of "womanhood" and its associated oppressions.

a lot of people are reblogging this saying that most "lazy" people are actually just disabled or that the concept of laziness itself is a product of our society's obsession with productivity. this is all true, but it is not my point.

even if someone WAS just lazy and simply didn't want to do anything but lie on the couch and watch tv, they should still have these things. it's irrelevant whether some people aren't actually lazy because everyone, including hypothetical lazy people, should have their basic needs met.

if we have the resources to do it, there is no defense of letting people die because they don't want to work, and much less because they can't.

I don't want lazy people to have basic necessities because they "actually" deserve them because they ARE working or CAN'T work. I want lazy people to have basic necessities because they are people, and we shouldn't leave them to die when we have the resources not to.

Them misgendering you, and other trans men throughout history, for the sole goal of keeping trans women and other TMA people out, is not some positive conclusion after examining your character, nor was it an essential part of your soul discovered and found to be “good enough.”

You think you’re just some special good bean who was a good enough man to remain in lesbian spaces.

When in reality you and other “lesbian trans men” who came before you are some of the most cowardly, turncoat, backstabbing, selling-out-your-sisters asshole men, throwing their own community under the bus;

and clawing their way to power and inflated egos for being “cherished” (thought of as wayward women) and “welcomed” (as long as you leave the “real men” at the door)

I know you know deep down that you, as a binary man (in fact the exact same gender as a cis man) should not have taken trans women’s spots in lesbian spaces.

It is not a cis man’s AMAB-ness that makes him impossible to be a lesbian.

It is his binary male gender that excludes him from being a lesbian.

And it is your binary male gender that does the same.
