Asher was sitting at one of the tables in the library trying to get through the charms essay he had put off until the last minute and to his credit he was doing a decent job of it but he wasnât thrilled with his own decision to put it off. He had all weekend to get it done and youâd think being in his 7th year heâd have learned not to do this by now but he was a master procrastinator, it was a problem, honestly. He jumped when someone dropped their books rather loudly onto the table âWas that really necessary?â he asked in a hushed voice.
Roryâs leather satchel was hanging over his shoulder, full of assignments that he put off like every other thing in his life. He didnât understand the homework load he was getting but he figured that going in Wizarding Law Enforcement meant dealing with all the bullshit of paperwork and mundane tasks. His Prefect duties were actually a number one priority of his, his job being a huge step in the process that would look great if he did his job. Â He found a spot at an open table with one of his housemates, dropping his books loudly on the table to get Asherâs attention. âNecessary it wasnât. But if you want an apology, Iâm sorry it bothered you.â Rory shrugged, taking a seat across Asher followed by opening. His voice was naturally loud, and the shushing he got from other people made him give a death glare to the people around them and they immediately looked the other way. âWhat are you workin on? Something last minute? if so, welcome to the club.â
