Raymond E. Feist: Advice to Young and Aspiring Writers

Recently I had the pleasure of interviewing international best-selling fantasy author Raymond E. Feist ( http://goo.gl/BoJNNy ) as well as attending a fabulous event in his honour hosted by Robinsons Bookshop in Melbourne, where he gave this advice to a young, aspiring writer:

"Get your butt in the chair and your fingers on the keyboard, and write."

"If you’re going to play the piano you practice, if you’re going to play the piano well, you practice a lot. If you’re going to play the piano for money and play Royal Albert Hall, you’re going to practice a lot ­– for years. Writing is the same thing. You must practice."
