Okay, let’s talk about this. The first thing Peter says is “I know what you’re gonna say.” He knows Tony is going to be upset because he wasn’t supposed to be there. He knows that Tony was trying to send him home because he was trying to protect him.

“And I just thought about you on the way.” All Peter had to do was think of Tony and he “just stuck to the side of the ship.” He wanted to help protect Tony because he knew Tony would try to take on more than he should, like he often does.

I mean, these two! How can you not love them? ❤️
