yall wanna talk about how Becho/Echo didn’t get a theme, but neither did Memori, Emori, Marper, Harper, or Raven, so lets not act like getting a theme or not getting a theme means shit.

I hate when people call becho toxic, they were toxic when they were enemies I’m not gonna deny but they worked their problems out they find in themselves the forgiveness and find in each other peace and love, you can say whatever you want but becho romantic canon relationship it’s not toxic they literally do  everything thinking about what is best for the other.

THIS!!!! They’re literally the enemies to lovers trope. That I’ve seen people say that they love so much but ignore about becho just to call them toxic.

A little song analysis [or how Call It What You Want is a becho song]

This goes along perfectly with the fact that Echo got cast out from her own clan. [they took the crown but it’s alright] Her clan was all she had, all she ever knew, so figuratively, and quite literally, her “castle” crumbled overnight.

Instead of lies, I thought this went hand in hand with the whole “for my people” mindset that everyone seems to have on this show and the amount of hypocrisy that I see throughout the fandom when talking about characters. This could also be about Octavia. Interpret however you’d like.

In space Echo learned how to love and what it means to be loved back. She found a family. In my head, it’s really the first time that she actually lets her guard down and really gets to be herself. She’s doing better than she ever was.

This part is pretty self explanatory. For the “call it what you want” line specifically what came to my mind is how some bellarke shippers people in this fandom who may not partically like Bellamy and Echo together, try to degrade their love as if it isn’t real. It is real. Call it what you want, but they do love each other.

Besides them literally being “above the whole scene” because they’re in space, the line “loves me like I’m brand new” really stuck out to me in terms of the becho of it all. Bellamy forgave Echo. As if they only just met, as if they were “brand new” they learned everything about each other. Found solace in each other.

This alludes to Bellamy and Echo both coming back down to the ground. Bellamy building a fire for her being a metaphor for sticking up for her against Octavia.

I think we all know who the “drama queen” Octavia is. Taking swings and dressing up as kings Blodreina.

I think this line is perfect when describing Echo/Becho’s relationship. It really does explain itself so not much commentary on this part.

I just love this part. Especially the “not because he owns me but ‘cause he really knows me”. Echo was a part of Azgeda. But it was harsh. Their ways are harsh and cold and they didn’t really know her. They didn’t love her. She was used as a war tactic. They casted her out. Bellamy knows her, loves her, and if someone casted her out you can bet he’s going with her. [“if Echo leaves I am going with her.]

Again this is already pretty self explanatory but the “you don’t need to save me” part reminded me of their scene in 4x13.

can we just take a moment to appreciate the Duality that is Becho?!

On the one hand we have BBB = Badass Battle Becho. They would kill for each other in a heartbeat, trust each others skills so much that they would blindly run ahead knowing the other will cover for them and are so badass that they find the time to TEASE each other while in the middle of a crossfire.

And then on the other hand we have soft forhead touches™ Becho who are so desperate for each other to be save and - if alone - are so soft and vulnerable with each other and melt into each others arms. They know exactly when the other person is close to freaking out and can calm each other down in a matter of seconds with a simple touch and a few whispered reassuring words.

I just can’t with these two. They seem like one of those private couples that seem look badass on the outside and don’t do much pda (except for if they reunite or have to say goodbye during a war) but are so soft and cuddly with each other in private and it’s the cutest thing every.

I love how everyone thought Becho wouldn’t last half a season. Now we are going into season 6 and their still together. Plus the memori ship is back to sailing. IM LIVING MY BEST LIFE!!!!
