Round and round the carousel went.
Like the second hand of a clock, revolving around the same place. The bustling scenery was colourful. The blueness of the sky, the flowers in the flower beds and the balloons were all vibrant colours, like paint that had been newly put on a palette. In the midst of such a flood of colour, his existence completely stood out.
As his other name, ‘the White Rabbit’ implied, long rabbit ears grew out from the top of his head. Full of warmth, his rabbit ears were a pure white. Along with the white colour that was bright in its purity, were red eyes that captured Alice within.
‘Alice. I’m very happy. To be able to go on a date with you in the amusement park— I’m so happy I might go mad.’
His eyes that sparkled as they shone only reflected Alice.
None of it, the changing scenery, the blue sky, nor the splendidly constructed carousel could become an object of his interest.
Ever since they had met, that viewpoint of his had not changed.
To him, Alice was everything. His only reason for living was Alice. To the point one would wonder how he had lived until now, in a world where she had not existed.
