I don’t think I have many truly active followers (who don’t follow me/talk to me elsewhere) but I’ll put links just in case.  I do wanna say one thing about this site, that I liked, besides how nice scrolling on it was or the fandom stuff.  Tumblr encouraged me a lot, to learn about people different from me and also seemed liked a place I could also be me (even if I only screamed into the void of an anonymous side blog).  So I guess I’ll miss that a bit if the site goes down.

Nameless Pharaoh

Sometimes I sketch nothing.  It starts as a profile head, then the nose and mouth show up, then the eyes.  The eyes define who it will be.  Sometimes I just sketch wildly with no direction.  Today the undefined sketch became the nameless pharaoh, Atem.

I’ve been in the mood to draw my fave ships from Yu-Gi-Oh! DM.  First up is rivalshipping because I saw the reference and instantly thought of Kaiba and Yugi.

The thing I really like about them together is that I think they have a lot of reasons to be together and I think even with Atem gone, Kaiba is a person Yugi could fall for even if he ends up with Atem in the afterlife.  Because honestly, who doesn’t think Kaiba has the hots for Atem too.  I mean come on.

Lots of DSOD feels.

I colored something tonight :D

I inked this last week but wanted to be able to color it for the person I made it for, so I waited till tonight’s livestream to do it!

Maybe one day I will have an easier time adjusting images in photoshop to look like the real one, but still scanners do not do some of these colors justice.

Inktober 2018: Day 1

Hi hello!

It’s been forever since I’ve posted art and I have plans to do Inktober this year.  As I always do.  I’m not gonna follow a prompt list this year, but I have some saved in case I need some inspiration.

I drew a sketch of this Seto Kaiba a week or so ago and was feeling kinda meh about it (I actually resketched it a second time) but when I was livestreaming on Sunday, I kept looking over at this page and it sort of grew on me.

The pose was sketched from a photo because stock models apparently do not pose with cards like characters from Yu-Gi-Oh.  The flower was basically chosen by the model of this photo, and it’s a hibiscus (which can mean rare and delicate beauty for those interested).

I’m gonna color this, but really Inktober is about the inks.  If you wanna see the coloring, please consider following my Twitch as I will be coloring on Thursday of this week at around 8pm EST.

Who knows what I will draw for Day 2!
